That'd be too smart.

You called it. Head Cases was just cancelled according to TVWeek. First cancellation of the TV season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> God damn. Maybe that'll teach FOX that Head Cases is what happens when you put an eccentric comedy on after SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. The fact that it's not a very good show can't be denied. I'm going to download the two episodes and save them just to have them.

I loved How I Met Your Mother. The entire cast is great. I didn't think Neil Patrick Harris was working until the "LAZER TAG!" scene. Out of Practice is pretty good as well. If it was the same characters made likeable, I'd dislike it. But as it is, it's a very sitcomish Arrested Development at points.

Whenver Sahadi appears on a show it always ends with TNA and Sahadi looking very good.
-
Head Cases looks like it'll get the ax sooner than later. Lost slaughtered it last night, as it dipped almost 50%. I was kind of liking it too. I've already seen Inconceivable, which premieres tomorrow night, and it's mostly garbage.

Ten years ago, even with Diesel vs. King Mabel, I had fun watching the product. With or without the IWC, I wouldn't be saying that about the WWE right now.
-
Just watched The Office from last night. Jesus Christ, did somebody say network retooling? While the show is still great, the love story, classic music, and Michael being applauded by his employees? What the fuck?

Meh. If someone impresses management in a tiny role they'll get bumped up and that role will be forgotten. Remember Deacon Batista? Or semi-hip Shelton Benjamin with rap music as his theme? Or Randy Orton: third generational rookie?

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread
Placebo Effect replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
Ratings were pretty bad last night. 3.0/5 for AD, 2.8/4 for Kitchen, and then Prison Break went up to a 5.0/something. -
I already saw and reviewed the pilot, and it's very funny. Not as good as Arrested Development, but then again, AD is one of the best shows ever made.

That was a tremendous episode. One of the best ever. The fact that it took them a minute or two to hit the true punchline to the "Don't Buy" joke made it even better. -

Can you get into that site? I was signed up for it, and it was fine, but a few days ago it crashed, and you had to sign up for it again. I did, but I have never received any sort of confirmation email. Could you get me someone's contact information for the site so I can get set back up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Use TorrentSpy.com then. -
The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread

I can't fucking wait. What pisses me off is that FOX has been using the same exact advertisements for two months now. Not even any new footage from the third season, just Jason Bateman with Carmen Electra and Gob's "The guy in the, in the, in the..." line. -
Or he's just smart. Think about it. He blew off a date with a less important promotion to visit the boss of his largest promotion who has the power to dictate his push and pay.

This DVD will make money, so your point is moot.

Thanks for contributing your worthless opinion.

The Greatest Cancelled TV Shows of this decade
Placebo Effect replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
So true. I'd say Freaks & Geeks, Do Over, and Titus. -
Maybe he wasn't at at the top of his game, but Nash was actually putting some serious effort into his matches, and I applaud him for it.
-
Venus De Milo gummy.

Did Meltzer ever find out if that rating for Massacre on 34th Street was the REAL rating? I don't see how that almost broke a 1.0 when they only had Hardcore TV at the time, regardless of the weekend it fell on.
-
I love getting the opportunity to watch random, less celebrated matches, so I'll probably pick this up when it comes out.
-
I loved the future episode they did this season with the TiVo.
-
Fucking shit fuck fuck fuck fuck. You hear that sound? That's a quarter of the people who tune into the first TNA on Spike switching over to Mad TV.
-
That's gotta be my favorite moment. I marked out when Taz first won the TV Title from Douglas.

Starting September 26th it's on at 4:00 and 4:30 weekdays on ABC Family. With the two seasons on the WB, the episode count was somewhere around one hundred.
