That's what happens when Viscera doesn't appear.

He was probably worried that it'd reflect bad on his character to say he went against a wrestler in a drinking contest.
-
Tazz indicated on the radio show he appeared that he would be stepping in the ring, so I'd say the Torch is right.

I honestly have no idea who this Game character is. And I'd like to keep it that way.

I was just teasing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, you were being the typical dick smark. -
Weekend Boxoffice Report, June 3-5
Placebo Effect replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Thanks to TiVo I've only seen one preview of the movie, and it looked like crap. I'm talking about the general population, though, as I'm well aware the movie isn't crap. -

The Sisterhood will hold up well, especially with schools letting out throughout the entire month. -
I have a desenting opinion from all of you from the looks of it. At no point in Benoit or Guerrero's WCW career did they deserve to be main event level. Prior to the juicing and (in Eddie's case) slight makeover, they both did not come close to looking like stars. These days, I think Guerrero deserves to be on top. Benoit deserves to be at the top, but I'll never believe him to be marketable as a champion.

Kidman did it?

It's very true. I know writers who pitched ideas to Nu Image a couple months back. http://news.google.com/news?q=rambo%20IV&h...off&sa=N&tab=wn

There's a good chance this will go direct-to-video, as Nu Image is responsible for something like two hundred (lowballing it) direct-to-video films in the past twelve years. They are doing a film with Nicholas Cage, though, and I expect that to go into theatres especially after how well National Treasure did.

Sunday Night Heat & Dark Match results from 30/5
Placebo Effect replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
If they wanted to do something tongue in cheek they could have Simon Dean join Bischoff's team next week (or the week before the PPV so he never gets physical with the ECW guys. At the PPV, Nova comes out with the bWo, simply never showing up to be with Bischoff's team. The next night you then have the announcers, Bischoff, Maven, etc. questioning and/or screaming at Dean, who claims that he simply had car trouble and couldn't make it to the event. For this to work, the announcers would have to make note prior to the PPV that Dean used to Nova, though. -
Nailz wasn't that happy of a character.

ECW: Is it the future brand of pro wrestling?
Placebo Effect replied to iliketurtles's topic in The WWE Folder
But you're forgetting how important live revenue is. If you're going to run ECW instead of Smackdown, they better be able to pick-up the same amount of money. -
CM Punk: Maybe as a new member of Evolution. Or brought in by Mick Foley. If not that, he should win the Kurt Angle Invitational. Samoa Joe: Win the Masterlock Challenge or Hassan and Daivari's bodyguard. Bryan Danielson: Win the Kurt Angle Invitational. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're truly insane if you think the WWE is going to actually put them on TV anytime soon. They'll be in OVW dumbing down their matches for four months to a year.

Allowing for the triumphant return of Norman Smiley.

Bullshit. It didn't make more than .8 million.

Let's not forget Mark O'Haire and Sean Jindrak.

ECW One Night Stand matches announced
Placebo Effect replied to WrestlingFan4Ever's topic in The WWE Folder
With the number of non-WWE guys working the show, if they decide to ban piledrivers and such, we'll all find out pretty quickly. Hell, it may be known before the show. -
Wow.
-
Sounds good. They're a very smart production company, going into production on a sequel before the DTV zombie market flattens.
-
Bring back the Dupp Cup and Glen Gilberti's talk show.
-
Holy fuck. How'd I forget about those, considering I've spoken to Daniel Bernhardt before.

Sasha did a terrible DTV film a while back called Gangland. Incredibly silly is the best way to describe it. Bloodsport was made by the Canon Group, who tended not to make sequels unless the original stars (Dudikoff for American Ninja, Bronson for Death Wish) returned. I get the feeling that by the time Bloodsport came out, Van Damme had attached himself to an agent who wanted to slowly make him the star he became.
