If anyone bothers to listen to it, please elaborate on this for us.l

Yeah, this was pretty bad. I watched it last night. It's an enjoyable show (as I can watch just about any sitcom if I'm bored or high enough), but it's another sitcom where if you were to pause the TV right after the set-up line, you could accurately nail the punchline 75% of the time. It seems like it would be the perfect companion piece to The Simple Life, though.

ROH/Boston promoter part ways after scandal + lies

That's a pretty fucking random way to end the story. -
To be honest, the beginning of the episode was weak. Well, weak for Arrested Development at least. Tobias' delivery on that final line before running out of the room was just poor, and a couple of the jokes didn't click. But holy shit did things get better. That last half was fucking beautiful. Marc Cherry appearing was so entirely random and great.

It'll be interesting, but it won't change the fact that he's an unentertaining schmuck.

That poor woman. -
Learn to read.

Do you just giggle to yourself while you're walking down the street, then? Only if I see someone trip.

God damn. That's weak. I can't imagine WCW was paying her that much better either for the year she was employed. Hopefully she has an education to fall back on, because she's nearly SOL.

It makes the joke even funnier, considering it's coming from Cartman.
-
I'm fairly certain Cartman also said 'heck.'

Because half the people on this board wish they were a well known wrestling columnist with a book deal. -
If that's true, and not fabricated BS, that's pretty fucked up.

The first episodes of Will & Grace are shit, especially the first one. They protected themselves heavily since it was the first year of being the first gay network sitcom. I started out watching the Season Two DVD a year ago, and I've now seen nearly every episode by TiVoing it in syndication. I have no problem enjoying the traditional sitcom. If I'm home on a Friday night, I'll turn on the WB and watch their sitcoms. While I don't bust my gut laughing like I do with AD, I still laugh consistently.

Will & Grace isn't on the verge of being canceled, is it?

He was a cocky little prick, but a good guy nonetheless.

"This was tough. I suggested we flip a coin. But Angela said she doesn't like to gamble. Of course by saying that she was gambling that I wouldn't smack her." And holy God. Dwight at the end of the episode.

I don't really blame them for releasing Victoria. She's been out with injuries quite often if I remember correctly. Still not happy about it, but that's the way the business runs.

Death of WCW was fantastic. I only had a short time to read Terry Funk's book in the store, so I skipped about halfway through to the point where Funk goes to Japan. It's nothing great, but some of it is quite interesting, with some tidbits that I'd never heard about scattered throughout. I scanned through Jimmy Hart's book from 1993-on, and found it pretty boring. He doesn't badmouth anyone, and generalizes everything. There were no stories about the wrestlers he managed in WCW, the backstage atmosphere, etc.

Whoa. You mean after all those times he bled internally from his battles in the wrestling ring he'd come out and say it's fake?
-
Matt Hardy, yes. As soon as possible. As for Rhyno, I'd avoid him for a while. He's got his personal problems to deal with. Plus, if you debut him six months to a year after he's released, some of that JTTS stigma will have worn off, and you can push him into the upper midcard easier.

This isn't the best episode ever simply because that joke about the side effects of those pills fell flat for me. Best joke of the night: "She mistook the drowsy eye, alcohol warning for a winking eye, alcohol suggestion."
