Tarantino Boards New Friday the 13th Movie?
Placebo Effect replied to Banter's topic in Television & Film
The prospect of a twelfth Friday the 13th (counting the three New Line "Jason" flicks) is more exciting than any of the summer blockbusters. Tarantino possibly coming on board is even better. -
"Dad already prepaid for Lindsay and Tobias' divorce." That was one of my favorite lines from the episode.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Placebo Effect replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
That was just a rumor at the time I believe. I think Hudson called them that, though, during one of the six man matches in late 2000 that Jarrett teamed with The Harris Brothers for. -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

That was Marcus Johnson. He was phased out by the end of 1998, as he was last seen (if I remember correctly) following Scott Steiner around blowing a whistle. -
If I remember correctly, the writers hated Dr. Monroe, so they just stopped using him. On the "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" episode, the name of the hospital was the "Marvin Monroe Memorial Hospital," thus of course leading everyone to believe he was dead. But once The Simpsons started just screwing around with their conventions, they brought him in.

Very true, though of course not on Marge. Flanders served as excellent fodder for the past couple seasons, but that gag has run its course. As much as I like Malcolm in the Middle, it was pretty bad. The scene where they taught Craig to play dirty was cute, but it ended there.

Speaking of hilarity, "They're lost without a greeting" was great in tonight's episode.

Blah, blah, blah. There aren't as MANY funny jokes per show, but it's still fucking hilarious at least once per episode. Milhouse talking about his dad being at work, only to cut to his father working as an actual scarecrow, was gold.

Ahh crap. How could I forget that?

EL DANDY TELL HEIDENREICH TO CONTACT YOU FOR SOME DP ACTION! CALL HEIDENRIECH YOU HAVE THE NUMBER! From Heidenreich on Lita's.

Let me see here... Snowball I, II, III, and IV (the later three all in the same episode) were all killed, but in a particuarly hilarious gag, Lisa decided to name the fifth one Snowball II in order to avoid confusion. Skinner then came by complaining about how insulting it was to do that, to which Lisa replied, "Okay Mr. Tanzarian." Then he just scooted away. Marge's various family members have died. Poochie died leaving Earth. Smithers' father died thanks to the nuclear core. Dr. Monroe died without any explanation, but then reappeared last season when Marge wrote that romance novel. And let us not forget Grimey.

Holy hell Bob. Would you have seen Glitter if Norm was in it? He would've seen it four times instead of twice.

Really good Dave Sahadi interview
Placebo Effect replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
And it wasn't childish for WWE to go after WCW seven, eight years ago? Sahadi was very insrumental in bringing the WWF from the days of Action Zone to the days of Smackdown. Before him, the hype videos were condescending and lame. -
You know, to be honest, the movie doesn't look too bad. That slave trade joke wasn't too bad when you consider that this a mainstream sequel, and it looks like it could possibly have trainwreck potential.

I was just about to post this. Wonderful.

That was great. Konnan's insipid rap video kept playing every episode of Nitro and Thunder, so Disco made his awesome one.

Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
Placebo Effect replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
If I remember correctly, the Snitsky/Lita/Kane segments were frequently the highest rated segments on the show. Everybody != you and fellow smarks -

Damn. That was an excellent, excellent interview. -
Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
Placebo Effect replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
That's not good business at all. Edge could be a main eventer one day, and Lita brings plenty of fat chicks into the audience. -
Trying to get in contact with these wrestlers
Placebo Effect replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
For Lynn and Sabin, you can try Brad Bernstein, who handles TNA's Media Relations - [email protected]. He used to tell me that he'd be happy to set me up with interviews. I used to have Devon Storm's phone number, but this was six, seven years ago. -

I remember that being a thing of beauty. -
I've had the Death Cab For Cutie discography downloaded on my computer forever. I've tried listening to it, but it's difficult. I've also never really listened to Avenged Sevenfold and Damageplan despite their CDs being on my computer since the day they came out.

Ben Folds covers "Bitches Ain't Shit"
Placebo Effect replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in Music
I kind of like Korn's Metallica cover. But yeah, their other two recorded covers are brutal, especially "Word Up." -
Do heels necessarily have to cheat?
Placebo Effect replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
He let Stacy get whacked to avoid losing, and then brilliantly faked that ankle injury to go over Nash.
