There was also that crappy Vampiro vs. Berlyn Dog Collar Chain Match, along with a TNA Six-Man Dog Dollar Match.

What's funny is that when they got married, Richards was famous, and Sheen was washed-up. Now it's the opposite.
-
That was filmed a few months after WCW closed. Yeah, Vito comes across as, quite literally, a mamaluke.

It's the Disciples of Destruction! It's like the Disciples of Apocalypse, just without the acronym! I guess we can put the final nail in the coffin of Sonny Siaki. It doesn't look like even Dusty has a hard-on for the guy anymore. And El Leon's back? Wonderful. Harris Brothers, Billy Gunn, El Leon, Sean Waltman, and Dustin Rhodes. I love you Dusty Rhodes. Let me lick your balls.

Looking for RAW and NITRO weekly ratings
Placebo Effect replied to UZI Suicide's topic in General Wrestling
If i could find it on there I wouldn't have posted this. You suck at Google http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=mozc...w+nitro+ratings -
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! God, why have you forsaken me?

Do you have the mile high hair, or the long goat beard? Y'know, this whole thing pisses me off. I like Static-X and I thought Tripp was an awesome addition to the band when Koichi left. I hope this doesn't screw up their tour this summer, or I'll be crushed. Crushed! That's one of the many reasons they dropped him. When you're being prosecuted for such charges, you're often not allowed to leave the state, let alone the country, as I'm sure Static will be doing sometime soon.

Bahahahhahahah. That's awesome.

Not nearly as good as last week, but still good. A couple skits went on too long.

Pictures from a 1994 House Show I attended

Thanks for the reassurance. I was only 63.8% sure until now. This is why people don't like you. -
AHHHHHHH! I hated that movie, and it made me want to cry that it won the DVD Exclusive Award for Best Screenplay.
-
Actually, my mistake. It hasn't gotten good reviews at all. Apparently it's an adaptation of a play. And The Jacket is a psychological headtrip kind of film I believe.

XPW/CZW stars and lucha legends unite
Placebo Effect replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
That's me. I used to mark out at the ECW Philly shows when Pogo would make his two minute appearance once a month. -
I didn't hear about it either. Box Office Guru predicted something like $8 million for it. I believe the above average reviews, coupled with a title that will instantly lures the black audience, was the big reason for it. It doesn't even have a big star attached to it.

I want JBL to be the champion forever, if only because of the pussyhurt smarks whose incessant bitching provides much entertainment.

News from the WWE Quarterly Conference Call . . .
Placebo Effect replied to res37618's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't see why they would be very high. You can just look at pretty pictures of them on the net. I dunno. A lot of them tend to be non-photogenic types. But I don't get why the WWE has to release so damned many diva DVD's. If they aren't getting naked, how is it different than the crap they do on TV that nobody watches? -=Mike They're still profitable, and that's what counts. Most Diva DVDs are filmed while in the midst of a photo shoot, so the budget on them is very low. They could release another straight wrestling DVD instead of the Diva stuff, but they don't want to blow their load by inundating the market. That is their belief, and not mine, though. -
I figured the fat, uncharismatic, Spanish guy to be the perp.

Whatever Happened to Reckless Youth?
Placebo Effect replied to MikeJordan23's topic in General Wrestling
Youth explains it as Heyman never sending him a contract despite promising to do so. But he doesn't get booked in ROH or CZW anymore because he missed shows for both promotions. One or two shows it was because of his back, and another it was because his wife went into labor if I remember correctly. -
"You can't say that on Television!"
Placebo Effect replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
WCW showed their genius by allowing an unedited ICP song to play as Vampiro's entrance music one night. One of my childhood memories is watching Bret Hart mouth "motherfucker" after getting pinned by Ted DiBiase with a sunset flip at Survivor Series 1990 (or 1991). -
Which is what I think she said last quarter. Why wouldn't she want to name them? That's not good business.
-
Don't forget the fact that Torrie Wilson used to be fat. Ohh, and and watching her man lift weights makes Torrie horny. And then Douglas rubbed Kidman's face into the pills if I remember correctly.

How close is the WWE close to tanking?
Placebo Effect replied to Epic Reine's topic in The WWE Folder
Actually, WWE Films, depending on how many projects they complete, may cost less than the XFL. WBF caused a $15 million or so loss. XFL lost the WWE somewhere between $45 and $75 million, and I'm sure someone will throw the official figure in. WWE Films budgets their pictures at around $15 million, and they've completed two (?), with a third in pre-production. Let's just say they finish the third one, adding in start-up costs and such, you can round things to an inflated $55 million. And let's not forget that the XFL's total revenue wasn't that number between $45 and $75 million. They did bring in SOME money. The $55 million pricetag I put on the WWE Films division as a whole does not include any kind of generated revenue. Will WWE Films be a roaring success? Absolutely not. Will the company lose money in the longrun? Probably not. -
Beyond Re-Animinator was very cool, although that can be defined as more of a labor of love rather than a cash-in like most DTV sequels are. I dug Hellraiser: Inferno, as did many horror reviewers. Sniper 2 & 3, when you consider the first one's shortcomings, aren't bad. Nothing great, though. Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood was good fun, but not necessarily a GOOD movie. In general, yes, direct-to-video sequels are terrible.

Indeed it was.
