I just brought this up in another thread as it suddenly popped into my mind, but who remembers the WCW Women's Cruiserweight Title. The damn thing probably never even garnered a MENTION on WCW Nitro, as they had a small tournament on WCW Pro and/or Worldwide, the match for the title itself, and then I'm not sure if it was even defended once in America before vanishing.

Doesn't look like too much great stuff is coming to your area. Lit is pretty damn good live, and they're headlining in Baltimore. GWAR is quite the experience live, and they're headlining in DC.

Probably because the market for wrestling in 1995-mid 1997 was absolute shit. Plus, Coliseum Home Video was still releasing WWE tapes, and they were quickly pricing themselves right out of the market, as at a time where an overabundance of product was allowing for products prices to be slightly lowered, Coliseum only raised theirs to about $60 a tape. Lower demand + Higher prices = Less video stores willing to purchase. As a result, CHV had to throw two events on one tape, or try to market them with a different name to make the fans think they were getting a special event.

That's be fun to see, but it sets a dangerous precedent because the idiotic mark fans will think they can get involved without anything happening to them.

Was he with Corino during his period as a face? And I had thought the injury was fake just because of how Victory used to constantly get the shit beat out of him despite it. I loved the speech Corino gave at a show talking about how the arena lacks a handicapped ramp so Victory had to sit on top of the entrance way and cheer throughout the match.

Victory was either faking an injury, or had a legit injury (for a short period of time), and he and Corino simply played it up beautifully. Once Corino turned face, I believe Victory ditched the chair, though I may be wrong.
