Pressley actually talked about the film about six months before it's DTV release on Conan. She said that when she signed up for the film, it was a couple months after Scary Movie blew up big, so she thought that she was dealing with a spoof. She read the script and thought it was hilarious. Only thing was that when she showed up to the set, it wasn't being played for laughs, and she realized just how screwed she was. Bad movie, but not the worst ever made. Ax' Em and Creepin', both from York Entertainment, are easy candidates.

I TiVoed this so I'm a bit behind. Jesus Christ, look at Maven's eyebrows.

Damn, very nice. New Jack, Mike Awesome, and even the body of Borne Again make an appearance. Douglas does not, however.

That takes some dedication. Good for him. Too bad he fucking sucks. And that's coming from someone who has seen at least fifteen or twenty of his matches.

Holy shit. "Drinking from a large goblet." Hahahah. Nice touch.

Why have all the good TV car shows crashed and
Placebo Effect replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
What kind of fucknut decides that he should write an article about television shows with cars? And his insult of Fastlane doesn't exactly make me happy. And I only count six shows with CSI or Law & Order in its title. Maybe they made a new L&O, that being one of those bland legit investigation shows. -
That's a mistake. This is likely the Chad Austin/Diamond vs. Rockers tag match.

That fat untalented turd should be happy, he's getting another push without doing anything to earn it. You see why WWE hates the Internet?

Can't we give two-week bans or something to people who post "news" from sites like this.

Premise: One of the McCallister boys, Jack and Bobby, is elected president of the United States in 2040. This being 2004, neither one of them knows that yet. The show traces the brothers' relationship with one another and with their mother, Grace, a college professor who wields a great deal of influence over them, particularly the younger Bobby. Show Background: From executive producers Greg Berlanti ("Dawson's Creek," "Everwood"), Mickey Liddell ("Everwood," "Go") and Thomas Schlamme ("The West Wing"). I recently got the opportunity to check out three of the new WB pilots, and out of them, Jack & Bobby is the one show (the others being Commando Nanny and The Mountain) that will no doubt receive a full season pick-up and a huge fanbase. Included in the new Entertainment Weekly is actually the full pilot on DVD, which premieres in a couple weeks. It's worth the $3.50 or whatever an Entertainment Weekly costs to see this one. Sorry to sound like a shill, but I totally dug it.

Yep. That was my only real complaint about it.

What about Scotty 2 Hotty? At least Shannon can have a reasonable match every now and then, plus he makes the hosses look good when he's getting killed by them. Scotty on the other hand, brings nothing at all, he should've been gone a long time ago. Scotty, for whatever reason, is still over. As much as I like Shannon, the fact that people have always said that he's a bit of dick causes me to feel much less sympathy for him if he does get the ax.

like filming girls without their permission? You're in someone's home. They have the right to setup security cameras and monitor what is happening.

6:00 and 7:00 weekdays. Sadly, the 11:00 showing just got replaced by fucking Malcolm in the Middle.

I love that poster.

Your complete lack of knowledge about CZW isn't surprising.

The OAO 'Garden State' Thread
Placebo Effect replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
God damn. I fucking loved this movie. One of the few things that I wasn't big on was the lack of explanation for Braff's choice of becoming an actor. I can understand the escapist theory, but Braff never even attempted to elaborate on it with his script. And when his friend gave him the necklace, does that mean that he stole it, sold it, and then bought it back to give to him? Maybe I missed something. 8/10. If the last point gets explained, 8.5. -
I've had the album downloaded for a couple weeks now. Haven't been able to really listen to it due to my schedule being all sorts of fucked up and my car currently lacking a CD player.

If I cared enough to go, there's a Hooters only twenty minutes from me. But alas, no interest. -
It seems to change on a weekly basis, thus the Monte/y Brown in the 411 Xplosion report.

Poor, poor Naturals.

It's kind of like how you flip through an old WWF Magazine and see a fucking Rockers or Berzerker t-shirt, and you just wish you had bought one for the novelty value 10-15 years later.
