And it's a damning indictment on us that you would be hard pressed to find many Canadians (including myself) that would even know how this brave soldier was.

Gradually, but surely, the quality of life here at CE is spiraling ever downwards.

Except you'd get accusations of pro-Confederacy.

Look, if he doesn't want them we'd be happy to take them off his hands.

Is there a segregationist he can praise during their birthday?

Finally! Finally there's a logo more hideous than the 3rd alternate jersey's of the Boston Bruins: The Caps for the Washington Nationals.

Priorities.

But, like many across the Pond, he's not respected 'round these parts.

Hey, what about world opinion? I think you should have some international observers for these procedings....

And no they shouldn't give Holly a shitty gimmick or any other gimmick for that matter; he's already at the bottom of the talent pool. They need to fire his ass now. That way he can sign up with WCW Jr. and be stuck at the bottom of that organization too.

Dupree is more talented than Holly; that's why Holly is pissed.

Is the Birth of Evil the episode where Jack fights his evil twin, and defeats him when he finally realizes the true nature of his darker half?

The US a) would never actually allow Canada to split up (no way we'd renegotiate all of the assorted treaties we have with Canada) b) would never accept Quebec. W. Canada, though, would be a lovely addition. -=Mike We'll trade you it for New England and New York.

Well, if some people in Quebec have their way, they'll be alot less Francophones in Canada and alot more in the US.....

Even limiting the scope to violent crimes, it is still higher per 100,000 people in Canada than in the US. I hated having to type that.

So you think.

Yes. He had no way of knowing the atrocities that that Corporal would commit years later, and hindsight is almost always 20/20. In this recent case with the Marine however, I believe he is more than justified given the insurgent's tactics of booby trapping their dead and wounded. Certain rules of war, like taking prisoners, should only be followed when both sides decide to follow them. If one side decides to violate the Conventions then why should the other be forced to uphold them?

Well, I don't have an anti-commercialistic view of Christmas, so anyone that feels the sudden urge to give me an expensive present, then by all means I won't object.

I'm in favour of abolishing exit polls altogether. How hard is it to wait until the actual votes are counted before a winner is declared? You'll never get rid of them because the media wants to call states the second polls close. Just look at Florida in 2000, they didn't even wait until all the polls in the state were closed. All the more reason to get rid of them.

Drug related crimes are down, but violent crime is up. Coincidence?

True, the internet has definately been a good thing in that regard, but the vast majority of people still get there news from the traditions forms for television, print and radio.
