    New Jack at Raw

OK, wrestling wrestling moves that New Jack has done. 1.) Clothesline. Saw him do one to one of the Baldies in one of their matches. 2.) A Splash. Well, that's the move he relies on when he does his balcony dives. 3.) Elbow Drop. Saw him do one to D-Von during the Guilty As Charged '99 show... 4.) Stiff Punches. 5.) Headbutt. 6.) Hanging Vertical Suplex (?). Still GAC '99. Most of the move was off-camera, but it looked a lot like New Jack did one to D-Von. That's all the moves I can think of...

    What if

What, is TNA going to buy the whole WWF library from the WWE??? Or are we going to see Vince McMahon talk about how the World Wildlife Fund "raided" all of the WWF's talent?
  3. World Wrestling All-Stars. I remember back in 2002 they had these PPV commercials all over the place, and I was kinda excited to see a Number 2 company forged so quickly after the InVasion angle. Then suddenly, I hear over the web about some European tour falling thru, and suddenly the NWA-TNA fires egnite. Then after some months after thinking the fed is dead, that the Godfather and Perry Saturn defecting over there. I've went to their site recently and there were some 2004 updates. I don't remember though. So can someone explain what happened to the company?

What? Larger Than Life, or the Coli-dated video you mentioned?

Andre The Giant and WrestleMania 5/6 DVDs

I thought they were going to paste the Larger Than Life feature on there, which was released by WWF Home Video around '98. Still, this DVD sounds like a collector's holiday. Most of the matches look frickin rare. Larger than Life ain't that easy to get anymore. So this seems like a nice recommendation. Of course this is Andre we're talkin about so Scott Keith will probably crash the party and recommend the DVD to avoid...

Andre The Giant and WrestleMania 5/6 DVDs

DVD sounds good enough, as long as they don't want to extent it to 2 Discs so they have to delay the red hot RVD DVD, like the Hall Of Fame DVD delayed the ECW DVD. Can you guess what they're going to do for the main feature? Anyone? By looking at the Match listings, it seems like they is goin OLD SCHOOOOLL for this DVD. But the 18-Man Battle Royale seems like a Cheap attempt of putting Hulk Hogan on there. Still not bad...

    NFL Playoff Picks

Plus, the only reason why The Ravens beat the Steelers is because the Steelers had Tommy Maddox as the QB, instead of Big Ben.

    WWE DVD Sales Question

Either that or Vince bought it 26,000 times. Plus there's no way that WMXX/Monday Night War sold more than Mick Foley or Ric Flair's DVDs. We have WMXX which had only one great match to note, that match which is also on the Benoit DVD. And we had the sub-par extras. Monday Night War, which in all sense was innacurate, and only had 4 extra matches, with the only good ones being Booker T/Benoit, and Austin/HBK vs Owen/Bulldog. Not enough in the extras department. Then we have the Flair DVD. 10 1/2 hours of Naitch!! That's like, I dunno at least half a dozen ***** matches. It covered enough in 3 Discs, and still leaves room for a possible second volume!!!! Mick Foley's DVD which most of the matches were awesome, and a couple of ***** matches. So did Vince buy all those DVDs 50,000 times or what?

Oh come on would someone answer my question?

Review The Wrestling DVD/VHS Above You

Crap. I have the Benoit DVD, so I've got the only match with sense. Everything else is crap. Matches were crap, buncha who cares interviews, Wrestlemania recalls, a cheap attempt at trying to put a history of Wrestlemania on there, documentary, and the 10 greatest matches which aren't bad, then there's the trivia. DVD is a bag of so what. 4/10. Trish Stratus DVD. And Vanhalen, Leap of Faith came out around 2001...
  15. Move this if needed. I dunno if there's a rants folder, or what, but where else can I put this? Alright, anyway, The Smarks haven't ranted on a Wrestling DVD on the main site, ever since the unfinished Ric Flair Collection review. So, this thread could be something for anybody to get a rant off their chest, and a thread that could inform people in need of a rant on DVDs. Anyway (Part II), I'll start it off by posting the name of a DVD for the below poster to review. You can review the DVD in 2 sections, the Main Feature, and Extras. Then at the end, finish the review off with a rating, and then name another Wrestling DVD for another poster to review. Got it? GREEEAAAT!!!!! Oh wait. No answer. Meh, I'll just assume you've got it. Here we go! nWo: Back In Black.

    ECW DVD Question

OK, if the DVD if rated TV-MS, then how come the WWE hasen't taped Parental Guidance warnings all over the cover, and back cover?!?

    ECW DVD Question

Well, can't you just answer the question? And then you can set fire to the thread!

    history of ECW DVD

Man, this DVD looks hotter than hell. The Chapters/Main Feature look like the reason to buy this set. I'm only interested in 4 of the 7 matches. The matches that I'm not interested is the Pitbulls/Raven&Richards match, the Guerrero/Malenko match, and the Rey Mysterio/Juvi match. Guerrero/Malenko because I don't expect TECHNICAL WRESTLING on a HARDCORE GARBAGE DVD. It would be like seeing the FCC tone down a Vic Grimes/Sabu/Rotten Brothers/New Jack match to an 8 ft Balcony dive ending, and 1 Table Spot in XPW, in other words see: Lame. And the other 2 because I have the Hardcore History DVD. Another gripe about the extra matches is that 5 of the 7 matches are on OTHER ECW DVDs!!! My god, Vince, you own the footage, but yet you pull off footage from other DVDs!!!! Someone answer this questions. If the ECW DVD rating is TV-MA, why hasen't the WWE pasted a thousand parental guidance warnings all over the cover, and back cover?

Review The Wrestling DVD/VHS Above You

Ehh, this is going to sound like an Amazon review, but... Main Feature: The real meat of the DVD. All of the matches are just the best of Foley, with only one crap match (You'd probably know), and one that could've been of a different version (Cactus vs Vader), but still one hell of a main feature. It could be even better than the extras. ********10/10. Extras: The extra matches are just as good as the featured matches, ECW promos rock the house. ****1/2. Mick Foley's Greatest Hits & Misses, is without a doubt my personal favorite of the WWE DVDs. WWE Ramped Up Vol. 1

Yeah, but you were supposed to review it in 2 sections, Main Feature, and the extras, and you forgot to name another DVD. Take II...

    Fantasy Smackdown Segment

What the hell... This could be something to laugh at. Lock this, or move this if necessary... Smackdown opens. But instead of all the welcoming to Smackdown live from Rutland, Vermont, or wherever, suddenly, Bob Saget, Dave Collier, and John Stamos, better known to prime-time TV as Danny Tanner, Joey Gladstone, and Jesse Kotsopolous walk to the ring with Tables in their hands, and are coming to the ring alongside, gasp, KIMMY GIBBLER! What on Earth does this mean for the WWE Smackdown roster? Not a whole lot of good, that's for sure. Bob Saget gets on the stick: Well, hello to all, fans of World Wrestling Entertainment. Wrestling has been so, dirty as of late, with as the Sex Tests, Schoolgirl Matches, Reality show people, and hype, and whatnot. Well, we're here to clean up the mess of Professional Wrestling. Take it Jesse! Throws the mic over to Jesse: Yeah, like Elvis says 'YOU AIN NOTHIN BUT A HOUNDOGA!' We're here to slick, and shape, and put in some fashion sense into Professional Wrestling! Hands mic to Joey: And might I add (in Moe tone) Ahh this company is poisoned. (Popeye tone) I am what I am. Time to fight. (Regular tone) Anything else? Bob Saget: So whoever thinks they are tough enough, why doncha come on down. Jesse cracks his knuckles. And then, Nunzio, and Paul London run to the ring to answer the challenge. The teams trade blows, but Paul London, and Nunzio get the better, but suddenly, Danny Tanner, and Kimmy Gibler assault Nunzio & London from behind, and Jesse & Joey, nail flurries of moves on the 2. Joey comes over and Bodyslams Paul London. Joey takes Nunzio, and sends him into Jesse who nails Nunzio dead on with a Spinkick. Joey & Jesse throw Nunzio out of the ring, then grab Paul London again, Whip him into the ropes, both lift him up and connect with an Au Revoir on London! They've destroyed London & Nunzio. Kimmy Gibler applauds their performance. Kimmy Gibler goes over to London to end his career, but suddenly, 'Free Ride' by the Edgar Winters Group hit the airwaves. Who could this be? But out comes THE CAST OF THE DREW CAREY SHOW!!! HOLY HELL!!! It's Drew, Diedrich Bader (Oswald), Ryan Stiles (Lewis), and the girl that played Kellie. They all storm to the ring. Lewis connects with a Springboard Dropkick to Joey from the apron, as does Oswald with Jesse. Lewis & Oswald both put the boots into Jesse & Joey, and then Lewis whips Joey into the ropes, and Lewis connects with the Clothesline from DrugCo., and Oswald hits the DiedrichBaderBomb on Jesse. They call Drew into the ring, who lays out Jesse & Joey with a Double Clothesline. Then, Lewis & Oswald set up the Tables side-by-side, Drew drapes both Jesse & Joey's arms over him, and Lewis grabs Joey's other arm, as does Oswald draping the other arm of Jesse. They lift, and put Jesse & Joey thru the Tables!!!! Danny comes in to protest, with another Table, but Drew goes to the Top rope, and Lewis & Oswald grab Danny and sets him on Drew's shoulders. Drew jumps off, and Superbombs Danny thru the Table!!! Yeah, see you on the reservation, say hello to Kevin Costner, yeah he's looking for work too! Kimmy Gibler comes into the ring, and slaps Drew, but then MIMI BOBEK SLIDES INTO THE RING. Mimi Bobek French kisses Kimmy, which is like downing a bottle of Gulf fuel. Mimi Mule Kicks Kimmy into the Turnbuckle, and Mimi uses her boobs to Avalanche Kimmy. Then Kimmy sits into the Turnbuckle. Mimi poses,a nd then BRONCO BUSTS KIMMY! AOOH MY GOOODDDD!!!! That's it! OK, so what did you guys think of that?
