    WrestleMania XX

Never going to happen. Taker's legacy IS his WM winning streak, that's what he'll be remembered for, that's his reward for sticking by Vince. It's become such a big thing that no-one deserves such a massive push, they'd have done such a huge thing that it'd be impossible to live up to. Hopefully Taker WILL go out on his back, but at some other PPV, where it'll still be a big enough deal to provide someone with a big push without damaging Taker's legacy. I agree that Austin/Goldberg seems a likely money match...possibly for the title, possibly even with Austin going over for a last brief reign. Only thing is, who'll HHH face? He'll want a big match, right? HBK again? Vince? Kane? All possibilities, I reckon - but I'll plump for Rocky. Can't see any other option for the WWE title other than Brock and Kurt again, although I'd cream myself if Angle/Guerrero ME'd. Won't happen, but hopefully Benoit and Eddie can have a rematch. Still plenty of time for everything to change though.

    Kane/Kurt Angle trade idea

Am I the only one who thinks the rosters are fine as they are? The Smackdown title picture has plenty of possibilities right now, with Benoit and Eddie primed for instant main-event status if needed. If Kane trades shows, all we'll have is two 'monsters' on the same show, what with him and Lesnar - there's no need. As for the RAW title picture...well, I don't really care actually. We can only hope HHH takes an extended honeymoon, allowing Goldberg, RVD, Kane, Y2J and co. to feud over the title and elevate themselves in his abscence. It'd make more sense for Taker to just 'visit' RAW for a while to 'take care of business' with Kane...and put him over, with possible injury angle before returning to SD.

Vince has really done it now

But how does him stopping a deliberately 'boring' match to start a bikini contest get heel heat? It doesn't. I agree with Deviant, it is just some horrendously bad booking.

    Huge Smackdown Spoilers

Much as I mark out for Angle, and will continue to insist that the RR match with Benoit was 5* quality, I just think one hour is too long a match for him, especially when he'll have to be doing the majority of the carrying with Lesnar. Still, I'd rather have a mediocre match take up half of Smackdown than more McMahon-a-go-go. And at least it will be interesting to see how Kurt and Brock manage, they might pul something really good out of the bag.

    triple h face turn

This is a very bad idea, IMO. Just basically lumping together a bunch of rookies that WWE are trying to push with Y2J is not going to help anyone. Jericho is best off on his own, he's found a great little niche in the Highlight Reel and he's best sticking with that for now (I also reckon his promo stuff is better as a face, but that's by the by). Too much green talent in the group means it'll be overcrowded and no-one will be able to get a decent push with the minimal amount of crowd interest they'll garner due to the lack of big names. Not to mention, where's Flair while all of this is happenening? He NEEDS to be in a stable like this, or what's the point of him being around? Orton is making steady progress, keep him in Evolution with Flair for now (until this Legend Killer gimmick gets him over enough to take down Flair, a logical step if he's going for legends, yes?), Maven needs a heel turn so he'd better go in. Jindrak and Cade can either get over off their own backs or walk. If HHH is indeed off to turn face, a double turn with Goldberg and to have him join Evolution seems the only real option. So: Flair; Goldberg; Orton; Maven. Between the 4 of them, they might be able to cover up each others weaknesses.

Vince has really done it now

Sounds very much like a work to me, even if the match was dying a death in front of the crowd, anyone really think Vince would come out to stop it? He'd be coming out every show if that was the way he wanted to run things. What confuses me is this: Tajiri and Rhyno are two over-ish workers who are both on a bit of an 'up' if anything recently. Why didn't Vince get them to put on a quick but exciting 5-minute match, then during a series of crowd-pleasing big spots building up to a climax, Vince comes out and says the match is boring him, and for them to get the hell out of his ring, voila...plenty of heel heat for Vince, he normally loves that right? Plus the crowd are left gagging for a Tajiri-Rhyno rematch. Instead, the crowd are left with the impression that they never want to see another match involving either worker, 'cause they're boring. Oh the genius of it all.

    Elimination Chamber

It's not just the practicality of have the chamber as the main event, it's the fact that the main event is supposed to be the big match everyone is waiting to see... it makes raw look BAD if six of their main-event guys (ok, bar orton) in a big gimmick match are put lower on the card than just TWO smackdown guys, regardless of who they are. I'll eat everybody's hats if the chamber isn't the main event. Choken One, who do you think is going to have the strap after SS, then? I know Vince doesn't appear to like Goldberg on a personal level, but he hasn't exactly got much of a hard-on for Y2J does he? From a business point of view, I think he may just put the strap on GB just because he's forked out all this cash for the big lump and he might, just MIGHT bring in some ratings as champ. If he bombs, Vince can just drop him. Why not take the gamble? On a side note, I personally hope Y2J squashes everyone else in the EC, turns face and has a glorious reign as champ. But then when was the last time the WWE did something that good? (Oh yeah, Vengeance - oops.)

    Elimination Chamber

I would have thought that this is very unlikely to happen. Six of the biggest names on raw in a gimmick match that was hyped to shit last november... there's no way they'll let (read: Vince will let) an actual wrestling match headline over the EC. I'm not entirely sure I want Jericho to win this one actually... he's having a pretty good run as a heel right now, and the way I see it: a) the title needs a face run, even just for a couple of months. and b) I'd rather wait for Jericho's eventual turn before he has a run...which could be something special (it could hardly be worse than his last title run). Problem is, who else is going to win? HHH - depends on the injury. I'm not ruling him out, but it's unlikely. Nash - no way. Even McMahon can see the fans won't like this one bit. Orton - stranger things have happened, we might just get a huge swerve... the fact he's with HHH could well come into play here. HBK - he won the last one, so no...far too predictable. I hope. Goldberg - don't know why everyone's been ruling him out, he'd be my second pick after Y2J. After all, he's been on a roll, he's the only face with a realistic chance... a lot of people have said his in-ring stuff sucks...but who's been the champ for the best part of a year?
