All I got going for me is my rampant posting of GNR topics in the music folder, and my hilarious tale of myself and a girl named Cait in the LSD folder. Plus, JSYK seems to find me funny.

I can never ever get tired of hearing that story, lol. Ric Flair- Ric needs to change up his moveset and dump some stuff like the turnbuckle flip. He also needs to cut down on the partying because everyone’s had enough of him stripping bare-ass naked in the bar or running around wearing only a sock on his dick and calling himself the Masked Marauder. He says the funniest story about Flair’s partying is the night where a hooker put a Mickey in Flair’s drink and stole his Rolex and his money, as Flair had to go out and buy an identical Rolex so his wife wouldn’t find out what happened. ------from the Bam Bam Bigelow shoot interview

Foley, old people, and techers wear flannel. EDIT: I guess rednecks as well, but around here, everyone's a redneck and not all of them wear flannel, so *shrug*. I just heard a rumor that the grunge look is now passe'. Allow me to go update my wardrobe.

God I wish the album would come out. I firmly believe it would silence most of the naysayers. Unfortunately, the departure of Buckethead will lead to Axl auditioning others, then hiring someone, then having them rerecord all of Bucket's parts. Who knows how long that will take...........

I would've bought it and wore a flannel over it so no one could see the lame back of it.

That's a very major thing to me, so yeah. I'd still like him as an entertainer though. Wasn't The Big Show arrested for this years ago? Yeah he did, I think Tazz did also. I remember a story about him, a 17 year old and a tanning salon, where he whipped his piece out or something similar.

Hey how come that bastard apologized to Lisbon, but STILL hasn't apologized for no showing in Philly? Fucker............

Haha yeah, that was definitely my favorite part too. That's like Scott Weilland criticizing someone for being a drug addict.

Press Release Source: Sanctuary Records Group Guns N' Roses Not Able to Perform at Rock in Rio Tuesday March 30, 6:00 am ET A Message from W. Axl Rose LISBON, Portugal--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2004--Guns N' Roses will not be performing as scheduled at Rock In Rio - Lisbon. The band has been put in an untenable position by guitarist Buckethead and his untimely departure. During his tenure with the band Buckethead has been inconsistent and erratic in both his behavior and commitment - despite being under contract - creating uncertainty and confusion and making it virtually impossible to move forward with recording, rehearsals and live plans with confidence. His transient lifestyle has made it impossible for even his closest friends to have nearly any form of communication with him whatsoever. Last time I talked to Bucket, he called to tell me he had bought a bootleg DVD off EBay and how proud he was to be in Guns and how impressed he was with everyone's performance. Then, in February we got word from Brain that Bucket had called him and said he was back in Guns!? Apparently, according to Bucket he had been "Gone" but had turned himself around and was really excited to do Rio-Lisbon and a European tour. Somewhere in the following month things changed once again. According to those who have actually spoken with Buckethead it appears his plans were to secure a recording contract with Sanctuary Records which I encouraged my management to make available to him, quit GN'R and to use his involvement in the upcoming Guns release to immediately promote his individual efforts...Nice guy! There is not a member of this camp that is not hurt, upset and ultimately disappointed by this event, and more to the point - if not this individual, certainly this individual's choices. Regardless of anyone's opinions of me and what I may or may not deserve, clearly the fans, individuals in this band, management, crew and our support group do not deserve this type of treatment. We as a whole, definitely feel that we afforded Bucket every accommodation perhaps so much so that it may be that we or more precisely, I may have done Guns a disservice and unintentionally allowed Guns to be put in this position. On behalf of Guns N' Roses and myself I apologize to the fans who planned to see us at Rock In Rio - Lisbon. The festival and its tradition mean a lot to me personally and I sincerely do not enjoy being robbed by one of our own of the opportunity to be the first artist to play it for the third time. I would also like to express my gratitude to those who chose to embrace Buckethead's role in Guns and support our new line up. We greatly appreciate Bucket's contributions and remain open to "discussions" as there are obviously several issues to resolve. In the meantime rather than dwelling on the negative, Guns will be moving forward and surprisingly (without giving away any details) this unfortunate set of circumstances may have given us the opportunity to take our recording that one extra step further. Regardless we hope to announce a release date within the next few months. Sincerely, W. Axl Rose I can't believe Axl commented. It's his first statement in what......like 16 months?

Yeah I had a friend put those tracks together on a CD the way they were meant to be.........complete and utter brilliance.

How 'bout a tribute show like the one for Freddie back in the day at Wembley... Get a bunch of guys to do different songs - Axl, Elton, Timberlake, Dawkins, Vedder etc etc...maybe a Josh Todd if Axl cant make it by 3am... Ever hear Axl and Elton's version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" from years ago? They did a really good job.

Bring Back Charlie Ward isn't enough.

Beautiful. She is a flower, a diamond in the festering shithole that is TSM. I rarely think about this board when I'm not it, but when I do, two things spring immediately to mind: 1) the whereabouts of Treble Charged, and 2) buffybeast. I even dreamed about her once. I took her to dinner--the drive-thru at Wendys (she loves the 99 cent menu)--and a movie. When we got back to her place...well, though it was a dream, I must keep some things to myself. Clever..........yet hideous. -
Well, as said earlier, it did work for Rick Steiner.

"This guy's got retard strength"----Jim Ross I dunno, it doesn't sound that bad. The sadistic prick in me might find it funny,

At least with Russo everyone was at least semi-over and had a reason to be out there. On this topic though, could Vince not see how this is going to offend 70-75% of the population? "Let's see, we've got Guerrero for the hispanics, RVD for the potheads, Christian and Austin for the wifebeaters........You know what we need Gerwitz? We need a character for the retards to get behind!" "Right away Mr. McMahon!"

I would think that there would be way too much travel involved in that for Heyman.

At the very least, Hall should've been put over Austin at Mania to keep that feud going. Instead we had superman Austin beating the hell out of all 3 of em, and taking Hall hostage and making a fool of him. Then during the actual match, he proved he could beat both Outsiders at the same time.
-
He must have seen how well that worked for Christian with Trish Stratus.

Hurricane uses a super hero gimmick. There's a guy in OVW who once used a similar gimmick. What should we do with him? HMMMMMMMMM HMMMMMMMM! I think the WWE scripts are written by a thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters.

You know, if you're gonna be attracted to guys who look like chicks anyways, why even bother being gay?

It was a good article, but the only shocking part to me was the revelation that Jeff Hardy might use drugs!

After fours years as a member of Guns N' Roses, during which time the band canceled more shows than it played and released no original material, guitarist Buckethead has had enough. The eccentric musician, who wears a fried-chicken bucket on his noggin and talks only through a hand puppet, has walked out before but has always returned to the fold. This time, however, it looks permanent. At the end of last year, Buckethead became fed up with Guns' inability to complete an album or tour and stopped working with them, his manager said. Buckethead appeared on the green carpet at the Grammy Awards last month and was introduced by Parliament/Funkadelic bassist Bootsy Collins as a member of Guns N' Roses, but by that time Buckethead had already told Guns frontman Axl Rose he no longer wanted to be in the band, the manager said. Guns N' Roses are scheduled to headline the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 30. It is unclear whether the band will have a new guitarist by then. Guns N' Roses' label would not comment on Buckethead's departure. The guitarist will now focus on numerous projects, including two solo albums — Population Overdrive and Cuckoo Clocks of Hell — which are due this summer. In addition, a group called Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains, which features Buckethead, Primus bassist Les Claypool, Guns N' Roses drummer Brain (ex-Primus) and legendary funk keyboardist Bernie Worrell, will release a debut studio album this summer. The record was mostly recorded last year in Northern California at Claypool's home studio, Rancho Relaxo, and includes the songs "Buckethead," "Tyranny of the Hunt," "The Big Eyeball in the Sky" and "Hip Shot From the Stab." "There are slices of all of our worlds," Claypool said. "We're talking about four pretty strong personalities, so you can hear Primus with Buckethead flailing over the top and Bernie Worrell's monster tidbits over the top of what we're doing. It's unbelievable." Half of the Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains album will be instrumental. The band has played various live improvisational shows, but this will be the first time audiences will hear the band performing structured material. "It's not as chaotic as you would think," Claypool said. "You'd think, 'OK, here come these four guys and they're just gonna start flailing,' but Brain is a very structured player, so everything tends to be very groove-oriented." Also on Buckethead's plate are shows and recordings with his recently reunited high school band, Deli Creeps, which features a singer named Maximum Bob, drummer Pinchface and bassist Tony. And Buckethead will likely join bassist Bill Laswell, Brain and others for a show as Material at this year's Bonnaroo festival, which is scheduled for June 11-13 in Manchester, Tennessee, according to the guitarist's manager. The festival may also feature a reunion of Praxis — a band featuring Laswell, Buckethead, Collins, Worrell, Brain and DJ Flip — who haven't played together in five years. Buckethead will start a solo tour Wednesday (March 17), opening for Particle in Austin, Texas. Dates run through April 15 in Atlanta. —Jon Wiederhorn This might fuck up their next show May 30th in Lisbon. Fellow Gunners, what to think now?

Oh c'mon, that's just a part of natural aging.......... .................... .....................

Well, how do we know he can't play guitar now? He's supposedly been learning for several years, plus he did play on a couple of Use Your Illusion songs (Dead Horse and Shotgun Blues). It's just not Axl unless he is swaying and spinning and running around stage (even if he can't keep his breath).

I think an Angle-HHH alliance could be interesting..........
