Can't even comment on the ridiculousness of that, lol. On another note, since they were going to release a "Best Of" CD, but the track listing was god awful (5 cover songs?), what songs would you guys have put on there? Avoid cover songs, and don't list any more then 14 songs. I tried to make it as commercial as possible, otherwise "Rocket Queen, "Don't Damn Me", "Coma", "Locomotive", "Breakdown" and "One In A Million" so would've been on there. 1. Welcome To The Jungle 2. It's So Easy 3. Mr. Brownstone 4. Paradise City 5. Sweet Child Of Mine 6. Patience 7. Don't Cry (Original) 8. November Rain 9. Dead Horse 10. Garden Of Eden 11. Civil War 12. Yesterdays 13. You Could Be Mine 14. Estranged

Well last year I just tore a hole in my wifebeater and poured BBQ sauce, ketchup and beer all over it. Then someone was like "Yo, it's Halloween dude!" So it was kind of convienient, I just went as white trash. This year, I dunno. I might also steal that whole writing God on a name tag idea. I always wanted to steal Drew Careys idea too and go as a guy with no pants. Tuxedo jacket, black socks to the knees, nice shiny shoes............and no pants.

Eddie rules. I should definitely listen to more Pearl Jam. I stopped after the second album for some reason.

He never got a blowjob from a transvestite and he never had sex with his own sister.........as far as we know.
-
They reported over at the Torch that it was due to poor ticket sales. If they closed, that sucks balls cause it is one less place for the boys to find some work.
-
Agreed, although it is too bad they did not include the live version of Coma as they did on the Japanese version.
-
Yeah I'm not a big fan either. Total waste of a song.
-
Well apparently is was put out by the record company without Axl, or any of the old band's knowledge. I am glad it was stopped, it was a ridiculous idea in the first place.
-
The only positive thing I can say is I like the original so much that even Fred Durst couldn't ruin it.

Greatest Hits Album canceled A representative of Universal Music has revealed to BW&BK that the previously announced GUNS N’ ROSES’ Greatest Hits album that was due out on November 25th through Geffen has been pulled from the labels release schedule. A reason for the cancellation was not given and whether or not the disc will be rescheduled is yet to be seen. The disc would have included the following tracklisting: ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, ‘Live And Let Die’, ‘Knockin' On Heaven's Door’, ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’, ‘November Rain’, ‘Patience’, ‘Paradise City’, ‘Civil War’, ‘You Could Be Mine’, ‘Don't Cry’ (original), ‘Yesterdays’, ‘Ain't It Fun’, ‘Since I Don't Have You’ and ‘Sympathy For The Devil’. What an interesting couple of days.............

My back was killing me, so I took a nice percocet, and now I am on Bud quart #1. Anyone wanna join?

There are little rumors over at HereTodayGoneToHell that Sanctuary, GNR's management, is suing the label to stop the Greatest Hits album from being put out, as well as the two Use Your Illusion DVDs and the Welcome To The Videos DVD. It might get messy shortly, and all that can mean is a longer wait.

Eh, he'll tear a bicep grabbing the orange juice outta the fridge one of these mornings. I'm not worried, cause he'll be gone soon enough.
-
Well I don't think Axl would want the new stuff on the same cd with some old stuff. I think at the very least he should have released an EP ala "Lies" with the new material most of the internet GNR fans have heard. "Madagascar", "The Blues", "Chinese Democracy", "Silk Worms" and "Rhiad and The Bedouins".
-
I give up.........no, I can't give up. That would be like conceding defeat and accepting this Limp Bizkit/Linkin Park ruled rock world. Can't do it. As the sucker that I am, I will continue to hope that Axl is jerking us around, and come November 25th, we will see Chinese Democracy. (fat chance)

Yeah ditto on that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Mr. Deniro. And may I say, Bobby not winning an Oscar for "Deer Hunter" is ridiculous. Who won it over him?
-
My thoughts exactly.

Update: Amazon.com Sales Rank: 487 What the hell? That means a mystery album is now outselling Eminem and 50 cent. By comparison, "Appetite For Destruction" is #737

I don't see how firing one of the few pieces of talent they have left would be a smart thing. Unless they need Mark Henry or La Resistance in a few more segments on Raw. Besides, if they haven't fired him by now, they won't fire him at all.

I'd like to see Velvet Revolver put out a song that could even come close to touching "The Blues".
-
I think the sick part was how goddamn good the lyrics were.
-
That's not fair. I stay in one night and post a thread like this, and all of the sudeen I am a loser. I remember the first time I saw a thread like this and........oh wait........I thought that guy was a loser too. Shit, thanks for showing me the error of my ways.

As far as "The Spaghetti Incident" goes, "Down On The Farm", "Ain;t It Fun", "Hair Of The Dog", "Black Leather" and "Look At Your Game Girl" are all pretty good in my book.
