From what I understand, he's been a champion in WXW, and he just started working for PWU.

Surprisingly enough, tonight was probably the 2nd best show of theirs I have ever seen, (1st being January 2004). They gave O'Doyle a great role, winning two matches, one serious, one somewhat comedic, and Roadkill and Slyk gave a very worthy main event.

All I know is, if they do get him for one or two appearances, they better take out full page ads in USA Today, and local papers in Philly, New York and LA. Make sure you can get spots on E!, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, whereever you can. Promote the fuck out of it, or it will be utterly pointless.

All I know is that since I started going, they have lost Raven, Sabu, Sandman, Joey Matthews, AJ Styles, Ruckus (who returns this month), and Christopher Daniels. It's definitely time to bring some new talent in. Also, they should have taken advantage of the huge reactions O'Doyle was getting in the beginning, especially after putting him over Gary Wolfe in a series of matches, but instead he's lost matches to April Hunter (in less then a minute) and Rockin Rebel, and he's barely been able to beat Monsta Mack and Rob Eckos (although I didn't see their falls count anywhere match last month which was supposed to be quite good). I think they'll draw 200 every month without even trying, but it's going to take some serious efforts to bring the attendance back up.

I accidentally bought tickets for this Tuesday night, rather then last night. I am trying like hell to not read the spoilers since I liked the first one so much and have been looking forward to this one since it was announced. I'm surprised about all the negative reviews though (or maybe not, knowing this board) as the clips I have seen on the internet looked somewhat promising.

Was anyone else disappointed by this? I knew almost every piece of info in there, and some of it had already been covered in the "Sex Lies and Headlocks" book on McMahon. On a side note, are any of the newer useless moron Scott Keith books good? I remember enjoying his first one.

It's my regular bar beer. I put on a bit of a gut and decided that it might be time to at least try to look decent for the upcoming summer. But yes, no Irish poontang. Although I could've gotten with a notorious bar slut, but she was Italian. It just wasn't in the spirit of the holiday.

I just did series after series of bottles of Bud Light with a shot of Jameson on the side (which is what I usually drink anyway). I may have gotten up to 8 or 9 of each. All in all, it was a very fun night with friends, I paid for it today at work, but it was well worth it.

"The Death Of WCW"

Can you name an actor or actress whose promising or established career was just totally shattered by being in a terrible movie or by a terrible performance? One that comes to mind immediately for me is Lori Petty. After playing Keanu Reeves' love interest in "Point Break" and Geena Davis' kid sister in big time hit "A League Of Their Own", she picked a couple of bad roles, most notably starring opposite Pauly Shore in "In The Army Now". But the role that killed her career? "Tank Girl." I remember seeing the trailer for this in the theater and just knowing that she was done. Now granted, I have never allowed myself to watch what is most likely a horribly offensive film, but I think the evidence speaks for itself. Where has she been since? From a star turn in "League" to "Tank Girl" to ???????

I know, I'm not too crazy about it either. But I am interested in seeing Sterling James Keenan vs. O'Doyle, I've heard a lot of good things about Keenan. And Ruckus-Homocide should be good.

And he's still a talentless piece of shit.

I've seen footage of them from the arena, teaming with Eddie Guerrero vs. Cactus Jack, Scorpio and Dean Malenko. I've also seen footage of them against Raven and Stevie Richards at a "house show" I guess it could be called.

Fuck Mabel, he was there for like one show.

Let's hope for one of them soccer riots.

Just lyrics. The one demo my old band did record included one of my songs, however, by that time I was long gone.

I should get a thank you note for the amount I lost to those thieving bastards in about an hour. Care to guess?

Well, I hope they don't drink the water.

I know this topic is about a year or so late, but I was thinking about picking it up since I have a few extra bucks. Is it worth the money? Are there still places around to update the rosters and get scenarios and stuff like that?

no it has his current pics from last night... Plus the fact its the same 2005 graphic... did the WWF have a webpage back in 95? You're right. Guess I didn't look at the page close enough. What Looney said. I think Jakes too much of a risk to bring back. agreed bless his drugged out and drunk soul. We loved seeing the big lug. but there isn't much he can do for the company that even his pride would allow him to do. Booker, Manager, Commentator, Interviewer, Referee Any one of these would be better then 90% of the shit that's permeated WWE TV since 2002-2003.

I tried Wrestling Spirit, but all my matches took like a half hour to finish. I probably just sucked at it. Thanks for the update though, I will probably just wait for the new game.

Jake sticking around=Me watching Raw.

Figure it out Wrestling and Scott Hall do not mix. Every time you read Hall is clean and sober, he returns to wrestling and a short time later falls off the wagon. This has happened numerous times. I've never been one much for "what ifs", but honestly.......how much do you think Hall would have accomplished in his career had he been able to pull his shit together years ago? WCW World Champion in it's dying days.
-
Just talking about how awful he is in the ring, how he always steals peoples shit, stuff like that.

I'm kind of surprised Jake and Jericho shared a ring. Jake's been ripping Chris for years now.
