I would assume that would already be in the refridgerator if I felt so inclined.
-
True, having him back on either show would be incentive for me to actually check out what they got going these days.

And call me JAxl The Great.

I just found this in a book, and I thought it was a pretty interesting read, so I figured I would post it. I meant to post it yesterday, since it was Morrison's birthday, but never got around to it. JIM MORRISON SELF INTERVIEW "I think the interview is the new art form. I think the self interview is the essence of creativity. Asking yourself questions and trying to find answers. The writer is just answering a series of unuttered questions. It's similar to answering questions on a witness stand. It's that strange area where you try and pin down something that happened in the past and try honestly to remember what you were trying to do. It's a crucial mental exercise. An interview will often give you a chance to confront your mind with questions, which to me is what art is all about. An interview also gives you the chance to try and eliminate all of those space fillers......you should try to be explicit, accurate, to the point......no bullshit. The interview form has antecedents in the confession box, debating, and cross examination. Once you say something, you can't really retract it. It's too late. It's a very existential moment. I'm kind of hooked to the game of art and literature; my heroes are artists and writers. I always wanted to write, but I always figured it'd be no good unless somehow the hand just took the pen and started moving without me really having anything to do with it. Like automatic writing. But it just never happened. I wrote a few poems, of course. I think around the fifth or sixth grade I wrote a poem called "The Pony Express." That was the first I can remember. It was one of those ballad type poems. I could never get it together though. "Horse Latitudes" I wrote when I was in high school. I kept a lot of notebooks though high school and college, and then when I left school, for some dumb reason-maybe it was wise-I threw them all away......I wrote in those books night after night. But maybe if I'd never thrown them away, I'd never have written anything original-because they were mainly accumulations of things that I'd read or heard, like quotes from books. I think if I'd never gotten rid of them, I'd never have been free. Listen, real poetry doesn't say anything, it just ticks off the possibilities. Opens all doors. You can walk through anyone that suits you. ......and that's why poetry appeals to me so much-because it's eternal. As long as there are people, they can remember words and combinations of words. Nothing else can survive a holocaust but poetry and songs. No one can remember an entire novel. No one can desrcibe a film, a piece of sculpture, a painting, but so long as there are human beings, songs and poetry can continue. If my poetry aims to achieve anything, it's to deliver people from the limited ways in which they see and feel." Jim Morrison Los Angeles, 1969-1971

Explain..........

At least then Chinese Democracy would come out. Anyways, yeah, I wasn't a big fan, but it's a total shit way to die. Since the shooter was killed as well, I guess we'll never really know the motive. R.I.P. Dimebag

I don't think Warrior would have demanded the belt. You never know. Rumors are that when he was asked to join ECW, he would agree only if he got to have a shoot fight with one of the wrestlers, and if he was standing after 30 seconds he'd get ownership of the compnany. He said that as a joke after Heyman told him if he wanted to come in he would have to put over Taz or Spike Dudley in 30 seconds.

"Pitbull 1" Gary Wolfe and Mike "Shooter" Kruel Kruel kicks ass.......

I think Matthews, if only because Sabin has only been around for like two shows. That crowd will pop like crazy if Joey loses, but I predict he'd get a nice standing ovation on his way out too. Now, I wonder how they will fill up the time that Striker usually takes up? C'mon guys, gimme some Sandman.
-
Yeah definitely a great interview. He was one of my favorites in ECW, always entertaining, especially the stuff he and Lance Storm did. I wish him nothing but the best.

That's the kind of song that is going to make me ignore his entire catalog now. Not that any of it was above average anyways.

3PW NOTES & NEWS INCLUDING HOW YOU CAN WIN FREE TICKETS TO THEIR NEXT SHOW by Mike Johnson @ 10:40:00 AM on 12/8/2004 Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling (3PW) began several new storylines at their last ECW Arena event including a main event push for Slyck Wagner Brown. At the last 3PW event, Brown was facing Low Ki and ended up losing after Ki chopped April Hunter and Brown was distracted while tending to her. Afterwards, Ki told Brown to make sure to keep his business and his pleasure separate. Later in the evening, Brown and Ki did a run-in on the main event Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles 3PW championship match, with Wagner doing Ki's bidding. This builds to a tag match on 12/18, which is probably the biggest match in Wagner's career as he's in there with three of the best in-ring performers in the United States today. Bill Apter debuted at the last show, replacing Tod Gordon as Commissioner, and to the surprise of the promotion, was turned heel by the crowd as they booed him. You can expect a big push for April Hunter in the next few months as she'll be working against a number of male competitors. Also on the last 3PW event was the start of a storyline involving Jack Victory and Rockin' Rebel, who team as Double Trouble here, where they have each lost singles matches when the other was unable to help the other. Striker will miss the 12/18 3PW event as he is scheduled to make his debut in Japan for the reorganized ZERO-ONE promotion. The promotion had a big angle planned for him, which obviously can't take place as scheduled now. WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS TO 3PW's RETURN TO PHILADELPHIA, PA AT THE ECW ARENA ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH 3PW and PWInsider.com are happy to announce we are giving away three pairs of tickets to 3PW's return to the ECW Arena in rustic South Philadelphia, PA on Saturday December 18th! There's a couple of new white boy rappers I saw on BET. Man, if I could remember them or the names of their videos, they'd be on here in a flash.

Savage - November 15th 1952 Hogan - August 11th 1953 That is only 9 months Notice I said "I think". The point of the post, however, was that Savage may only be a little bit older the Hulk, but he looks fuckin tons worse. And finally, thanks for the correction Mr. Details. If you were as concerned with getting ass as you were with pointless wrestling details, you might have seen a female breast in person by now.
-
Jarrett vs. Savage can't be anything but a step back. Mach looked anything but ready to step into the ring, let alone a PPV main event.
-
I dunno, I mean, I'll still go and all, but I am definitely getting a little tired of seeing the same faces. It's been the same basic crew since probably around April. A little variety would be nice.

Gordon now claims this all was a work. If I can find where he said it, I will edit it in here. "Since this seems to be the most asked question, I'll tackle it here, and to the rest of you who wrote in, please accept this as a reply to you as well, rather than me answering the same question 10 different times. First of all, Sandman didn't leave until years later. Second of all, this started when Public Enemy was getting ready to leave. They were going to accept an offer from Vince. Because I appreciated how hard they had worked over the years, and how instrumental they were in helping to build the company, I told them to wait on accepting Vince's offer, and I called Kevin Sullivan, who had worked for me for years to see if he was interested and could get them a better deal financially. He did, and they were very grateful. Teddy, until the day he died was one of my closest friends, and to this day, rarely does 2 weeks pass without me talking to Johnny. I was at the point of getting ready to leave the business in 1997, due to wanting to be with what at the time were my young children, and get off the road. It was actually sheer coincidence that at that same time, I was asked by 2 people if I would make similar calls for them. Unlike most in my position, instead of resenting someone wanting to leave the company, I was thrilled to see them get an opportunity to go from making 300-500 per show, to getting 6 figure salaries. Paul and I disagreed totally on this issue. Therefore I didn't tell him I made the call, because if they did not get offers, they would have had tremendous heat in the dressing room. When I told him, he decided to use it as a rallying cry for the dressing room, as if to say.... we almost got put out of business as half the locker room and Tod were all going to jump ship. I did no interviews purposely so this ploy would work. We also decided that if I were to change my mind and come back, it would make an amazing heel angle as everyone pretty much believed the story. Obviously, those closest to me (Sandman, Fonzie) were the only ones who knew the real story but kept quiet at my request. We never did end up doing the angle, but the story had already become almost folklore in the business. Anyone foolish enough to believe that I would want to see " my baby" die obviously didn't have a clue as to what I'm about. As a humorous aside, since the locker room as a whole never heard from me, a majority of the boys believed the story to be true. One in particular, that gave Paul and I many laughs behind his back, was Shane Douglas, who assuming Paul and I didn't talk any longer, told him that he was part of that group, and WCW had offered him something like $300,000.00. Paul never let him know he caught him trying to work him, but it did make for some fun conversations between the two of us, as others also tried to figure out ways to use the situation to their advantage. Tazz, for one spoke out against me publicly, so Sandman felt a need to smarten him up. He did. Tazz called me and apologized, and we've remained friends ever since." Link

Things that were supposed to happen but didn't

Owen Hart was supposed to main event a PPV against Shawn Michaels when he returned after the Montreal screwjob, but was phased out instead onto a feud with Triple H. -
Let's set up a "Morality" convention at some remote building in North Dakota, and then when they all show up, blow the fucker up. It's the only solution, because nutjobs like this will never, ever shut the fuck up. Of course, I could always just move to Canada.

This game is definitely a lot of fun to play, and I plan on purchasing it as soon as I get back to work.
