Could've still had Arnold though, since it was on the "End Of Days" soundtrack. Look for the live version of "Oh My God" from Rio, makes you see the song from a whole different perspective.
-
Hey "Oh My God" has damn good lyrics. If it would've had a video ala "You Could Be Mine", I think it could've been a hit.
-
I wouldn't brag about having the same opinions as a senile asshole.
-
Nah I didn't mean give Dreamer the belt, I meant just bring him in for a couple shots to try and pop attendance a bit.
-
Exactly what I was thinking "So Fine" is possibly the worst song I have ever heard. At least "My World" has some good points..........Axl wrote it on a mushroom trip and wanted to try something new.

Amazingly enough, they made my list, but when I saw the actual Doors didn't. HONORABLE MENTION: The 21st Century Doors Over then Astbury fucking up some key Morrison lyrics, and Manzarek getting booed for anti wars sentiments, the music was flawless, and the videos in the background were kick ass too. They even debuted a new song ("Cops Talk", written by Jim Carroll), and said something about a new album, but I haven't heard anything since.

I'll try to catch it at a bar.

I doubt they will change their current style, especially since Styles and Daniels are both booked till the end of the year. I think Meanie is just depending on word of mouth, and hoping the crowds will get bigger from there. Attendance has dropped pretty badly since the departure of Raven, and since Matthews has had the title also. Last month during Matthews/Slyk Wagner Brown, the crowd chanted "Worst Champion Ever" and "Bradshaw's Better" at him, so I dunno, I'm not expert, but I don't think the whole Matthews experiment is working Meanie. I'd just give Styles the win in the 4 way, then the title the following month, let him hold it till December when his time is up, have him drop it to someone the company built up on it's own, ala Striker, or a name, ala Perry Saturn or Chris Kanyon. And what about Tommy Dreamer? Since he is no longer on the active WWE roster, couldn't he come in for a few shots, like Al Snow and Lawler?

So is HBO definitely carrying it?
-
Velvet Revolver also proves the prolonged interest in GNR.
-
Apparently Jerry Lynn had to pull out of the show because of a shoulder injury. Chris Sabin is taking his place. "3PW is proud to announce that CHRIS SABIN has been signed to make his debut on Saturday, August 21st, and will compete in what is shaping up to be the greatest match in our company's history: the "Four Corners" Dream Match to determine the NEW Number-One Contender! Sabin will be replacing Jerry Lynn, who has removed himself from the card due to a nagging shoulder injury." Link\

Yeah, real intelligent comment. While Appetite may be the best album......... GNR LIES: Patience, One In A Million USE YOUR ILLUSION 1: Don't Cry, November Rain, The Garden, Don't Damn Me, Dead Horse, Coma USE YOUR ILLUSION 2: Civil War, Yesterdays, Breakdown, Locomotive, Estranged, You Could Be Mine True "The Spaghetti Incident" wasn't spectacular, but then it wasn't meant to be. It was just an album of thrown together cover songs.

That's if this album ever fucking comes out. Search for Guns N Roses on Google. In thier site description it says "Guns N' Roses Official Site Includes news, tour dates and information on Chinese Democracy due November 2004. www.gnronline.com/ - 2k - Cached - Similar pages"
-
It definitely looked like the original.

5. Guns N Roses 12/6/02 Axl of course, didn't show up, and Mixmaster Mike and CKY both sucked brutally. But.........it was a riot, and riot are always fun. My only other riot was when the Dudleys caused one their final night at the ECW Arena. 4. The Soft Parade 7/23/04 A Doors cover band, they are pretty well known actually, the guy pulls off an uncanny Morrison. SoftParade.com They did a mix of hits and obscure shit, but everyone there knew all the words, I was quite impressed. 3. Summer Sanitarium 7/4/00 Although I left before Korn or Metallica, I did get to enjoy System Of A Down, Powerman 5000, and Kid Rock, as well as see people mosh to "Only God Knows Why." 2. Kid Rock/David Allen Coe/Dope 9/00 Say what you will, put the guy puts on a hell of a show and he has this one segment where he plays every instrument on the stage..........brilliant. And hearing David Allen Coe do "My Name Is" was fucking clutch. 1. The Who/Robert Plant 8/03 Plant's voice still sounded tip top, and he mixed a few blues standards with old Zep tunes. The Who........just amazing.........Daltrey ran around, sang, and looked like he was 25, and Townshend was definitely one hell of a showman.

Oddly enough, I will actually flip to TNN a few times now. I was probably going to watch the Iron Man Match anyways.
-
Oh, them's fighting words. Like A Prayer > Appetite For Destruction. Well, I did. One of the best concert experiences ever too. You can't understand why people would still go to see Bowie, yet you worship Axl? Hypocrite. Like A Prayer better then Appetite? Well, I gotta question your sexual orientation now........... And Axl is an unquestionale live performer when he shows up. Bowie has to resort to characters to stay interesting...........and to call him interesting it quite a stretch.
-
HBO still has Deadwood and Six Feet Under. They'll be alright.
-
But then you offend me as well. And I'm the most beloved poster of all. I think the real matter is who in the blue hell is still going to see David Bowie?
-
Please don't compare the new GNR to St. Anger. St. Anger was sold on Metallica's name, but Chinese Democracy will have to be sold on the music, because no one believes in the GNR name anymore, and especially not in Axl.
