You know, I hate to say it, but why would a GNR tour be an event of any kind? Only two shows on the last tour sold out (NY and Philly) and Axl no showed one of em. The rest of the shows sold 60-70% of their tickets, maybe. Now, not only does most of the population think the new band (and Axl's new face) is a joke, but they'd be even more leery of going to see him now that he has proven he isn't reliable (not that he ever was).

Ajax Garcia, founder of late '90s punk rock n' roll band THE NAPOLEON BLOWNAPARTS, was reportedly approached about filling the vacant guitarist slot in GUNS N' ROSES following the recent departure of Buckethead. In a press release date April 7, 2004, Ajax explained how he came to be mentioned as a possible touring member of Axl Rose's new band: "Yes I was contacted by GUNS N' ROSES bassist Tommy Stinson on playing guitar for GUNS N' ROSES," Ajax said in a statement. It'll probably be a little of both. Fun because I know a lot of people who hang out there, and depressing because I'll be working rather then getting shitfaced. But I am sure the kitchen doesn't stay open past like 11 or 12.........right? right?!

Job #1: Starts Monday, hours are 6 AM to 2:30 PM with three 20 minute breaks. The pay is $7.89 an hour, with time and a half after 40 hours, and double pay after 44. Apparently it is some kind of assembly line horseshit, but there is a raise and chance to move up after 90 days, as well as full benefits. This is perfect for me, because I wanted a 40 hour, Mon-Fri job so I could have my weekends free to go to the shore and shit all summer. Job #2: I don't know when it starts, I am waiting for a call right now, might be as soon as tonight. It's just working in a bar in the kitchen, but hopefully that involves a couple free drinks, and there is the added bonus of getting to check out hot ass all night. So fucking congratulations to me!
