Tombstone: The History of the Undertaker

My keepers are in. Never did i think Jeff Weaver would be someone i'd hold onto in a keeper league.
-
Pleased to see Tennessee can release half the team in the off-season and field the youngest & least experienced team in the league, yet they still aren't the worst team in their division.
-
Got every differing pick in my matchup wrong, looks like i can say goodbye to being ranked after this week. That 0-3 conference record doesn't look pretty either. Lousy Air Force/Nebraska/California.

As usual i'm in for anything NBA fantasy, my team as of right now for the Salary Cap Challenge: G- Speedy Claxton G- Sebastian Telfair F- Dirk Nowitzki F- Ron Artest C- Kurt Thomas 6th- Shareef Abdur-Rahim With $450,000 left to spare. Claxton and Telfair are cheap players that i'm confident will greatly increase in value and put up strong numbers for NO & Portland, Dirk is of course a Fantasy monster, Artest i think is a steal at his current price, as long as he stays out of the crowd he'll be an elite player with numbers better than alot of the players ranked above him, Kurt will benefit from being part of the high-octane Suns offence, plenty of rebounds to pick up and Nash's passing should give him lots of opportunity to score, and Shareef's numbers will jump from being the starting PF in Sacramento compared to an unhappy & injured backup in Portland. After picking my team in about 5 minutes and putting little thought in i think i did pretty well. I'll join the Rookie Game later when i can be bothered.

The Scramble Cage Melee would have to be close to the worst match to judge Ring of Honor on, a terrible mess that was only done to stick it to the H2 show that never happened the same night and give an excuse for Evans to do his ultra-flippy 720 Leg Drop or whatever it was. ROH is wisely never doing the match again. On Fast Eddie, he is legally blind, but i'd imagine he's on the lower end of the 'blindness' spectrum, so he'd be out there wrestling a bunch of blurry shapes.

The first pick of whatever round it is now: Josh Howard, GF
-
I got basically a full season out of him last year, so i might as well push my luck and select: Grant Hill, SF My second pick to come in a minute.
-
The belt looks damn good, a vast improvement over the last one. Having nameplates for all previous title holders is something i've wanted to see done more often, though with how often title belts are passed around these days most belts would run out of space within half a year.

Braves over Astros in 4 Cardinals over Padres in 3 Yankees over Angels in 5 Red Sox over White Sox in 4 Yankees/Angels i could see going either way, the others i'd be surprised if Boston/St. Louis/Atlanta lost. Not so much Atlanta though if Clemens/Oswalt/Pettitte are on fire.
-
Plaxico Burress now has over 200 yards receiving to go with his 2 TD's and was just inches away from another, the Rams haven't even come close to slowing him down, let alone stopping him.
-
Eli Manning's having what would surely be the best game of his career so far, 260 Yards with 4 TD's, and with over a quarter left and the Rams unable to stop anything Eli could/should end up with monster numbers today.
-
Mike Martz tries to get too cute with the offence and it leads to a fumble within 10 yards of the goaline. Martz looking like a dummy was all i really wanted out of this game, and so far it's delivering on that front.
-
Rams TE Roland Williams went down with a nasty leg injury, it looked like his leg damn near bent in half sideways. Meanwhile Rams score a TD, if i was going to be stuck with Rams/Giants i would have liked to see St. Louis and super-genius Mike Martz get blown out, but i guess it's not going to happen.

Another loss and dead-last in the conference thanks in large part to my inability to tell time, but i still hold onto 9th spot in the rankings. Time to crush a motherfucker next week and get the Gamecocks bandwagon back up to full steam.
-
Despite reminding myself about 50 times i still forget to submit my picks in time, lovely. Michigan at Michigan State Virginia Tech at West Virginia Navy at Duke Utah at North Carolina Kent State at Eastern Michigan Minnesota at Penn State USC at Arizona State Iowa State at Nebraska Florida at Alabama Washington State at Oregon State Kansas State at Oklahoma New Mexico State at Louisiana Tech Notre Dame at Purdue Tiebreak #2: How many yards passing will USC's Matt Leinart have against Arizona State? 328

It turns out i've been spelling Dwyane Wade wrong for 2+ years, if it wasn't for this thread i'd probably have kept spelling it wrong for another 2+ years as well. Never noticed that one before, and i'm normally a stickler for correct spelling.

Anyone interested in a TSM Online Poker Tourney?
Cuban Linx replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Sports
I'd certainly be interested in playing (and winning), though i'm busy most days of the week so my participation would heavily depend on what date it'd be. -
