Hopefully Portland and New Jersey don't play again anytime soon. After their first 64-60 shitfest they looked to be heading for some all-time incompetence when the score was 10-9 at the end of the first quarter. At least Portland realized they're supposed to be somewhat good at least and took care of things after that, the Nets are off to their worst start since either '99 or 2000, i doubt Jason Kidd's to eager to get back to that mess.

The predictable route that they go every year would lead to Orton winning it, unless the WWE decides to do something interesting or creative instead. Since interesting or creative don't compute with the WWE, Orton is winning.

Match Review: Ian Rotten vs. Tank
Cuban Linx replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in General Wrestling
I was really looking forward to Ian/Danielson but from the sounds of it Ian/Tank looks to be a pretty good substitute, i was still up in the air on getting the show but from the sounds of things i'll likely end up getting it sooner or later. Sucks that DeLay/Jacobs was disappointing, since on paper that should really have been a great match and was probably the match i was most looking forward to out of the Wildside/IWA show. -
I echo the congratulatory sentiments to the both of you.

Portland defeats Miami, continuing their stupifying run of going 4-1 against teams with records above .500 and winless against teams with losing records. They did the same thing last year, with good records against the Kings, Wolves and teams like that but always seemed to suck against the teams they should beat.

After going down seemingly every night lately i finally jump back up a few %, two good days including 114 today as i get the best player at four positions as well as the coach, just 9 off the best possible as i took Wesley instead of Wells. November 23rd Lineup: PG- Dwayne Wade SG- Fred Jones SF- Lamar Odom PF- Kevin Garnett C- Shaquille O'Neal Coach- Denver Nuggets November 24th Lineup: PG- Steve Nash SG- LeBron James SF- Grant Hill PF- Amare Stoudamire C- Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach- Chicago Bulls And i'm never touching Yao Ming again after he burned me with another shitty day, even more infuriating since he put up 30+ points or something the game inbetween the ones i chose him in. At least noone else has really screwed me around by going shit when i choose them and great when i don't this season, i had enough of that last year.

Ultimo Dragon vs Jushin Liger from the J*Crown tournament comes immediately to mind, i don't think you can anything more out of 2:38 than they did.

Double Post.

Have they specified that Ki/Aries is for a WORLD title shot, or could say Low Ki if he wins potentially decide to get a Pure Title shot instead? Either way it should be a great first time matchup, and with rematches of ROH's two best matches so far this year this show could really be Ring of Honor's best so far.

Brandon Thomaselli seems an odd choice to be main eventing the Highland event. From doing nothing of note in a few undercard matches to going for the Title in IWA's biggest town is quite a jump.

If those suspension lengths are correct Jackson & O'Neal will be back January 6th @ San Antonio, with Artest allowed back January 26th @ Boston.
-
Despite the Pacers having only 6 players Orlando still only barely pulls out the win, 86-83. Looks like the Jones' will be carrying Indiana for a while, Fred Jones putting up 31 points and James Jones getting a 12 points-12 rebounds double-double.

The Pistons should put their title belts on the line come the X-Mas rematch.
-
Aside from Wallace/Artest/Jackson/O'Neal, Tinsley could potentially be in some trouble for the whole dust pan thing, i haven't seen the replays in a little while so i could be wrong but it looked like he was about to take a big swing into the crowd with it before someone bumped into him, although he didn't get to do anything with it coming back out of the dressing room with a weapon New Jack-style i doubt will be looked on too favorably. Still love that clip of Jermaine nuking the fat fan with the slide punch.
-
Looking at another replay Stephen Jackson just hammers a guy in the melee in the stands, almost on the level of the O'Neal slide punch. Most sports brawls seem to have guys throwing a hundred punches but not hitting anything, there were some real good ones landing in this.
-
Finally got to see the replays with Sportscenter coming on here. Alot of fans should be in trouble over this, the guy that tossed the first bottle at Artest, the at least two guys who came from behind to attack Artest and Jones in the crowd, the one or two guys that ended up on the court, whoever sent the chair flying, and probably a lot more in the whole mess, even without the crowd at the Pacers entrance dumping all sorts of crap on them.
-
Australia ESPN doesn't show all the same stuff as USA ESPN unfortunately, i got the Pacers-Pistons game live but after that we've been getting soccer or some shit instead of the Kings-Grizz game and the many replays.
-
Hopefully all these replays and stuff end up on the net sooner or later so i can see them, O'Neal levelling that dumbass is great. I'm sure the NBA is salivating over their double header of hate for Christmas right now.
-
Although i didn't see it one of the commentators was saying at least one fan ended up on the court, some of the fans involved definately should be in big trouble. One guy took a big swing from behind at Fred Jones when he was trying to break things up, luckily he missed Shaq-going-after-Brad Miller style.
-
It's still odd to me to see Rasheed Wallace playing a peacekeeper for much of that situation, Portland-era Rasheed Wallace would have taken half the arena out himself.
-
Jackson's definately in the most trouble out of the players, he was already wound up just by Wallace's shove on Artest moreso than anyone else, after the fans started throwing things he just went nuts.
-
Jones and Arest looked to be getting hit with punches in there.
-
The Pistons fans are throwing stuff all over the Pacers, O'Neal, Jackson and Artest look about ready to kill someone.
-
Big time brawl going on at the end of Pacers-Pistons, right now Artest and Jackson are fighting with fans in the stands.
-
Hopefully they make a warning sign and beat her repeatedly in the head with it for this stupidity, i'm sure she'll learn to stay the fuck off the tracks after that.
