The OAO Raw Thread - 7/26/04 - 60 Minute Iron Man
Ted the Poster replied to DerangedHermit's topic in The WWE Folder
That should've been Regal in the fencing commercial. Sure would have made more sense... Oh wait, nevermind. -

Four Inmates Flee Jail, Return With Beer
Ted the Poster replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in General Chat
Did anybody else get the mental image of a Benny Hill or Kids in the Hall sketch? Tennessee+UNLOCKED CELL+each inmate has a "Jim Bob" type name+beer= teh stoopid. -
As someone who isn't partial to the left or right, that was just hilarious. The Dean scream reminded me of Mel Gibson on South Park. Bush: "Nucular..." Kerry: "Heh heh heh. You said 'nucular'. It's 'nuclear' dummy; the S is silent." Astro: What channel, out of curiousity?

That's awesome. I hope HSR will release that as a game, because it would no doubt be excellent. "YOU are Rather Dashing, a peasant wearing short pants..."

Weren't those twins previously "juggies" on that shitfest called The Man Show?

What, so we can ALL look like Lita? *rimshot*

Lawler did it and it just caught on for some reason.

The Hurricane and a sugar cane?

I like the black one and the redhead personally. Man, I can't wait to see JHawk rip into this one.

That's fewer blondes than I'd expect from WWE. Mabye they're not actually rigging it until the finals.

Commentary. Yay. CM, is anything truly worthwhile mentioned in the article? Does it say how complex Create-a-PPV will be or anything?

Like MD said, Fox's absence can be explained easily. Eads' character was suggested for promotion by Grissom during the season, so they can just say he got it. This all ssems a bit too convenient though...

Indeed. That is one of the best episodes of any primetime cartoon in a long time, IMO.

Already been done.

Oh man, plug-and-play Wrestlefest would be one of the greatest things EVER. Nightwolf using dual hatchets is sweet. If Kabal uses his metal hooks in a Fatality this time I, and probably many others, will be extremely happy. Smoke's model is very, very badass. That effect is fucking excellent. Did anybody else notice the detail in that blond guy? If that's a story mode creation then... wow. I just got a lot more anxious about getting this game.

Halle Berry Won't Return In X-Men 3
Ted the Poster replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Since when is incredibly contrived dribble like Catwoman challenging? I couldn't care less about Halle Berry. Hope they get someone in the same age range to replace her though. Milian is what, 21 or something? I think Angela Basset could be a good Storm if they made her look a bit younger onscreen. I just saw the trailer for Cellular. Evans looks like he'd make a good Torch. Chiklis as Grimm though is one of the best casting decisions, if not the best, that they could have made. He's not a true superhero... he's Al Capone made of rock. -
Try Nip/Tuck. Damn good show.

Organ donors caught speeding should get a break..
Ted the Poster replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in General Chat
*marks for Agent's bridgekeeper sig* I've always thought that, unless it's a religious thing, everyone with a healthy kidney, heart, corneas, etc. should be considered for donation upon death. This may sound like the oldest argument in the book, but since you can't use your (insert organ here) anymore, shouldn't it go to someone who needs it to survive? That said, I can't fathom why any police officer in his right mind would or should go easy on donors who speed. Officer: Sir, you were going 60 in a 35. I'm going to have to write you a ticket. Driver: But Officer, look at my liscense. I'm an organ donor! Can't you cut me some slack? Officer: Buddy, the only time that would matter to me is if you had just wrapped this car around a tree and I was calling the paramedics. -
Agent of Oblivion deleted a Classics folder thread

... or Supercuts. -
Yeah, but that's because Canada doesn't warrant a Hollywood-type city/industry. Which may be a good thing.
