To Rock's credit, he has been using the spinebuster since '99 as a better transition move to the People's Elbow. Other than Farooq, everyone else started using the move after Triple H started using it. Austin started using it too after his comeback in 2000.

And as usual, Benoit can't beat Evolution, but HBK can. And he doesn't even get to look in the crossface long enough on HBK to mean anything before Austin runs down, just like he didn't get enough time to beat Triple H before Evo ran down.

Wait, they are selling the most boring beatdown in history for more than a week? Even I could be back up in a week after that. It was like a barfight, but without weapons.

Once Trish gets beaten up, I'm turning off the TV. Just in for Victoria's outfit, and WWE stupidly threw that away the first segment. And nice to see Val finally back on Raw. JR said that Orton's beatdown of Foley last week was uncomfortable to watch. Yeah, it was unsettling, because it was so damn boring.

I miss Victoria the psycho....

I've said all along that unless HBK vs. Rock is there, I'm not buying Wrestlemania. Every other match I've seen in some capacity (Triple H or Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat, Taker vs. Kane) or will stink so bad it isn't worth watching (Brock vs Goldberg, unless Brock carries the thing on his back).

Doesn't WWE screw faces in their hometowns all the time? I mean, I know Angle won the gold in Sept. 2001, but that was more due to the "patriotism" surrounding the terroist attcacks at the time, verified when Austin was given back the belt two weeks later. My negativity says that unless the ice melts in Canada and floods half the country, Benoit has no real reason to win in Edmonton either.

Okay, here's a question I have been meaning to ask, wouldn't a WM contract already have the participants name somewhere other than the sig spot. For example.... "This contract is a legal agreement signing the World Heavyweight Championship Match for Wrestlemania 20, featuring Chris Benoit and Triple H. Both participants, by signing this contract agree to...." So wouldn't HBK's signiture be considered illegal...? Oh and the petition, not going to do anything.

So what does that make it now? 3 good Smackdown PPVs over 3 suck-ass Raw PPVs? I agree with the line that too much "sports entertainment" junk like the ref bumps and the interference killed what could have been a near-flawless second half.
