If Cena turned heel, all the men and guys who are booing him now would suddenly be cheering for his every move. His act was a hit with the guys back in the day, go back and watch Cena vs. Lesnar from Backlash 2003 and notice the men in the audience cheering on Cena.

Agreed (not saying the others mentioned aren't talented) but my prediction isn't based on what I think should happens, but more of what I think will realistically happen in the wacky world of WWE.

It's not going to go anywhere. It'll be dropped without any warning, with the chaotic writing team just forgetting about it. I don't see Noble getting released (unless there's Wellness trouble), more so I see him staying on forever and settling into the Nunzio/Val Venis/Stevie Richards roll (glorified jobber).

Supporting a three trillion dollar nation-building effort & and hoping for a gigantic wall around the country also contradict conservatism. Agreed. Why anyone takes Beck seriously is beyond me.

So in other words, this book features flat out lies. This isn't even a half-truth, this is directly misleading and a lie. If this book can't even get simple facts straight and creates scenarios to make the author's argument seem stronger, than this book isn't worth wiping my ass with.

They totally do. Beck is a hypocrite of epic proportions.

Yeah, if anyone is willing to make me a bad-ass sig like that, I'd be grateful. Otherwise, no biggie.

Whooo, I can live with 5th place.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

I usually speed a lot on the highway, but it's very rare for me to ride anyone's ass. With that in mind, I get very resentment when someone is on my ass, because I'm already driving pretty fast, so it just feels like the other driver is being selfish. When I'm on a normal road, nothing makes me want to take my time more than a car riding my ass. Suddenly, wherever I'm going doesn't seem important at all and if I'm already going 10 over the limit, I'll slow down to the legal speed limit and have some fun watching them get mad in the rear view mirror. No one intimidates me into going faster and if they think they're going to, then I'll make them regret riding my ass in the first place. -
A lot of TNA talent needs to work indy's to make a decent pay. If TNA were to pull their talent from all indy's, they better be prepared to pay them more money. And that is a nasty fucking break.

I considered Daken at one point, but figured that might be overkill since I have Wolverine. At one point I was going to draft Leonardo or Raphael from TMNT, but forgot about them.
-
Sucks that you'll be gone, but as always, thank you for the pay-per-view.
-
Marv. It would be a blast watching him work with Wolverine and Rorschach.

Well, considering that Vickie took the tombstone on behalf of standing up for Edge, it could be considered a huge emotional blow to her and a harsh betrayal by someone she's put her body on the line trying to protect. I think it makes somewhat logical sense.

Dazzler! All my planned picks got snatched, but Dazzler is cool shit.

No doubt it's a terrible crime. However, John F. Kennedy (a liberal) began phasing out the death penalty for any non-murder crimes. The Supreme Court placed a ban on capital punishment for child rape, with the opposition in the Court coming from its four conservative Justices. Now Obama (a liberal) is coming out on the side of those conservative Justices. It is a stance that is in opposition to the general liberal position. Therefore, I find it a little hard to believe that so many people here who very vocally support Obama would also support his position on this. It comes across, to me, as though they are just going along with whatever he says and blindly agreeing with it. I can't speak on behalf of all those who share the label of "liberal" but personally I don't just open a playbook of what every liberal position is or should be and strive to match it. I'm not opposed to the death penalty for child rapists, but if they spend their life in prison, that would be good enough for me too. And it doesn't always work out that way. I have a former relative (married into the family) who kidnapped a six year old girl, raped her, taped it, tried to sell it on the internet, and got busted. He's getting out of prison after only ten years. What the fuck is up with that shit? Not even life in prison.

... so I want to end it now. Come out all of you who somehow oppose gay marraige. Explain yourself. What's the big fucking deal! How do gays getting married impact your life? Why is it wrong? And I don't want to hear any explanations that include "Because the Bible says so." Sorry, that doesn't fly when it comes to a legal institution such as marraige. And even if it does, why is there no crusade to end the serving of shell fish in restaurants? So if you're against gay marraige, why? Explain yourself and try not to sound like too big of a jackass in the process. Don't say anything in this thread that you wouldn't say to a gay couple to their face. Let's end this once and for all.

Yeah, I was let down by that too. It's not something that's going to make me turn around and support McCain though.

I'd rather she live, big reason being that it would drive me mad to see her memorialized in a Cobain-esque fashion.

LOL, I knew someone like that in elementary school (watches Power Rangers, therefore he's into martial arts). He started taking karate class and was bragging that if the Putty Patrol was real, he could beat them. This same kid also would argue with me over whether Mortal Kombat was a better game than Street Fighter II. I claimed that Street Fighter was better, and his entire argument was that Mortal Kombat was superior based only on the violence. I thought that was pretty retarded logic back then, and I was like 12. -
I think you'd find that most people would wish bad things to happen to child rapists, I don't see how that makes anyone standing by Obama no matter what he says.
-
Psylocke. Yeah, I know I already have a telepath, but Psylocke kicks ass. She teams well with fellow martial artists such as Iron Fist and Wolverine, and can assist Emma in coordinating the team. Besides, Rorschach can use all the supervision he can get.

ROH Weekend: Battle For Supremacy (Dayton) and Vendetta II (Chicago)
SamoaRowe replied to Hawk 34's topic in General Wrestling
The crowd reaction for Pearce/McGuinness could be interesting. Pearce isn't considered a main event level talent in ROH, and he gets a lot of legit heel heat since he works a more old-school style that doesn't fit the typical ROH mold. Nigel is considered legit and he's very over as a heel right now as well. It seems to me that most of Nigel's legit heat is in New York City, where he offended the fans by getting injured entertaining them at Rising Above and couldn't entertain them again the next night at Final Battle. I'm assuming that Nigel will be the default babyface tonight, as he was very well received in Dayton last time when he was walking a tweener line. Still, the crowd reaction for this match could be interesting if both men are legitimately disliked during this time. In addition, I believe there will be some sort of non-finish tonight as neither title should really be changing hands at this point to either guy. -

Jacobs/Aries should really deliver. This could end up being a big weekend for ROH if they play their cards right. -
Damn, Mystique was going to be my next pick.
