My friends all think that Aguilera might want to drop out of singing for a bit to pursue a career in porn.
-
Yeah, I don't think any of us here are fans of these women even if we compliment them from time to time.

Britney USED to be cute. Now she's just trashy and produced. Aguilera USED to be trashy and produced... now she's just trashy Just kidding, I do like how Aguilera is more natural looking now. It suits her.

The line at my Best Buy actually went pretty fast. The longest people waited for was 45 minutes. I like to think it was organized chaos.

Something was special about N'sync? Most of my classmates seemed to think so, at least. I remember hearing them on the radio and being absolutely indifferent to them. Then, all of a sudden, they were this huge sensation and I was just left standing there and wondering why. I also didn't have MTV in my house until i was 15, which might have helped.

This is a lesson I learned on accident. I was noticing some rather unique avatar names and thought "hmmmm" this is worth investigating. Now now look at me, I'm NWA Champ!

It's just because a lot of people base what type of music they like soley on image. Whoever has the better image is the better artist to teenyboppers everywhere. I used to get rediculed back in middle school for the my taste (Ben Folds, Radiohead). All the while, I just couldn't figure out what was so special about N'sync.

You just reminded me of an interview where Spears bragged about never having had formal singing lessons. My response was "No shit." Anyways, you are right on about Britney. She'll become a historic joke in the world of music history.

The Top 10 WWE Wrestlers of 2003
SamoaRowe replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
1) Brock Lesnar 2) Kurt Angle 3) Chris Jericho 4) Chris Benoit 5) Big Show 6) Trish Stratus 7) Eddie Guerrero 8) John Cena 9) Triple H 10) Undertaker -
Should John Cena really count as a rookie? He did debut in July 2002 which was quite a while ago and before that he was a big player in OVW. He's young and all, but he's been a fixture on Smackdown for a relatively long time now.

Yeah, Christina, whether she admits it or not, is still in pop star mode. She has changed her image and all, but only because the teen pop image was fading. She really needs to stop being so image-consious and just concentrate on having a career that she can be proud of. So far, I'd say she has a long ways to go.

Opposites? Worst "MVP" of the year: Triple H Worst Raw Wrestler: Kevin Nash Smackdown Wrestler: Nathan Jones Rookie: Umm... don't want to be predictable, but John Heidenreich Tag Team: Hmmm... didn't really hate any tag teams... bah, I'll just go with La Resistance Feud of the year?: Triple H vs (insert name here) PPV of the year: Unforgiven Storyline: Nash vs HHH heading into Judgement Day Announcer: Jerry Lawler Match: Triple H vs Scott Steiner at Royal Rumble

Are you implying that Britney really doesn't want to fuck me? Yeah, Aguilera, as much as I loathe her, as a real talent. Get her some better material and she will go far. Avril Lavigne was a cute little novelty for about a week. Then i started noticing things about her that reminded me of my feelings towards a certain Ms. Britney Spears about four or five years earlier.

I'm afraid that my picks at this time are not quite that original WWE MVP of the year: Brock Lesnar Raw MVP: Chris Jericho Match of the Year: Benoit vs Angle (RR, I finally bought the dvd... wow!) Rookie of the year: Umm... Garrison Cade (John Cena was my Rookie of the Year LAST year!) Tag Team: World's Greatest Tag Team Feud: Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels PPV: WrestleMania X9 Storyline of the Year: Lesnar/Angle/Big Show going into Vengeance Announcer of Year: Tazz

I will proudly buy a copy of that desperate Playboy shoot, mostly to laugh at her. And because I'm a fucking pervert.

Top Ten Love Songs? I'm not even sure there are ten love songs that I even like... 1) "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds 2) "Stand Inside Your Love" by Smashing Pumpkins 3) "Telephone Line" by Electric Light Orchestra 4) "Do You Realize" by The Flaming Lips 5) "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlin 6) "The Scientist" by Coldplay 7) "Hanging By a Moment" by Lifehouse 8) "Burning For You" by Blue Oyster Cult 9) "Falling For You" by Weezer 10) "Here With Me" by Dido Yes, many of these are not really traditional love songs. It's just that your average love song infuriates the living piss out of me.
-
"Baby, One More Time" Why? 1) When it came out, I was still accepting of pop music and I admitted to thinking it was a nice, little song. 2) I used to hear it once a week on a countdown show and I enjoyed it on a weekley-only basis. 3) I wasn't aware of how much I would grow to hate her 4) She was cute at the time. The song is pop in it's best form. The songs I would come to hear from Spears since have been total crap.

Black friday wasn't too bad for me... ... when the store opened, it was like a flood invaded the store. It was quite the sight. I was going to buy the Simpsons season one while it was still on sale during my break at 11:30. However, the person who went on break before me came back forty minutes late and I missed out on it. To say I was pissed is an understatement. The best part came around 1 pm when the registers all started acting goofy. Credit cards and gift cards suddenly no longer worked. The computers went all slow and it was terrible. It was okay though, cuz I got to leave shortly after this disaster went into play. Black friday was an interesting experience and I'm not exactly dreading next year.

"Brick" by Ben Folds "Stand Inside Your Love" by Smashing Pumpkins "Everlong" by Foo Fighters "Seeing Red" by Unwritten Law "Pushit" by Tool

Circuit City does indeed suck. But I only say that because I work for Best Buy and there is a Circuit City right across the street from us. They are struggling though, we get all the business. On a side note, tomorrow from 6 am till 12, the Simpsons Season 1 is $11.99 on DVD. How much does that rule?

That's such a tease. I really wish those tickets were going on sale

Just yell at people for shopping at Sears in the first place (I used to work at one, it was a rediculous company). I feel bad for the untertrained cashiers and other employees at Best Buy too. One new girl was trained for the register and just got informed last night that she was being put in appliances for Black Friday. On a side note, my Best Buy is referring to friday as "Green Friday." The logic is that we're never in the red, we're already in the black (as far as profit goes). This means we're just going to make even more money. For Sears, it will definitly be a black friday though.
-
I haven't heard what our official morning sales on Friday will be, but I will probably find out tonight (i'm heading into work in about half an hour). Best Buy usually does have a special like that (as do most retailers) so I expect that I will get some good news tonight. It will probably be something percent off of a bunch of smaller items (maybe printer ink, those are always on sale). On a side note, I really hate any sort of coupons or sales like that. It messes the registers up and a lot is usually mispriced. This leads to lots of bitch customers.
-
Exactly. No one needs to go shopping at that time on that date. Some people act as if it's the only day of the year that stores are open for business.
