  1. Two main events? What was the other one? Are you talking about the Diesel-Michaels match, where Sid was Michaels' bodyguard. That match wasn't the main event, but it should've been. Not that LT crap. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiit.... I haven't seen that 'Mania, but was Bigelow/LT really the main event in a sense that it was the last match on the card or just the most hyped?

    Whats the best WWE DVD?

I just watched the Trish Stratus dvd and I enjoyed it. I mean, it was okay and all... just made me want to marry her and father her children more so than before...

    Who's more hardcore???

I haven't seen or heard enough of Nick Mondo to really know. Foley is an all-time favorite of mine though, so he gets my vote by default.

    Bane & Seven from OVW

And my name is Ernie Rowe. And my name is more marketable than yours.
  5. That was a rather amusing story. No, Orton should not be depushed over that. Wrestlers do stupid things like that all the time, we just don't usually hear about it. At least he didn't get stoned on acid and strip himself naked in a hotel lobby...

    Hey! What about Ultimo?

This just sums up everything that is wrong with the WWE creative team. They don't know what they are doing, they just randomly add labels to matches to make them sound important.
  7. For the sake of enjoying him on our tv screens, lets just hope it was.

    Garrison Cade

Other than the fact he's been trained by HBK... You just made me think of Ted, the generic guy, from Dilbert. Maybe that should be Cade's new gimmick.
  9. A few thoughts... Until Brock Lesnar is rude to me or caught being rude on camera, he's not rude in my book Shane Douglas pretty much sucks in the ring now, but he's a very entertaining heel who adds a lot to his feuds and angles. If only he could get back in decent shape, he would be very very good. I was skeptical of Brock's push in the summer of 2002. I felt like he had no heat going into King of the Ring and/or Vengeance. His feud with RVD became one of my favorites of last year though, as it was one of the few feuds where both guys actually got over from being involved in it. I've been a believer in Brock since his match with Rock at Summerslam though. Since then, he has carried himself well and has presented himself as a credible WWE Champion. History will be good to him.

    WWE News

Yeah, I think I remember hearing that at some point as well. Molly Holly also once stated that when she was still in WCW development that Sanders was one of her favorite guys to train with. I have an issue of Inside Wrestling that featured an interview debate between Mike Sanders and Ric Flair because they were FEUDING WITH EACH OTHER! And Randy Orton isn't all that bad. His push is premature, but he's improving. And Smackdown is so depressing these days. It hurts to be a wrestling fan.

What are you listening to right now?

    "Everything Zen" by Bush.

    Fountains of Wayne

I listened to two Fountains of Wayne albums on Rhapsody. The newest one didn't impress me all that much, but the second of their three albums (I can't recall any of the titles right now) was pretty decent.

    Rather Brilliant Torch Column

See, that's a good argument. It's a known and oftenly proven fact that Lex Luger is NOT a good worker.

    11/12/03 card

Wow... that card ranges from awesome (the X matches) to iffy (the main event) to down right scary (Harris vs Abyss).

    Rather Brilliant Torch Column

Yeah, that article meant jack shit to me. If you're going to get upset over Lex Luger being hired because of his history, you have to get mad about countless others. I don't approve of the drug use, but I don't complain about it. I think Lex Luger can do good on TNA next week (half the reason I'm getting the show next week is to see how he does). And yes, Raven can hardly remember his WCW days due to his drug and alcohol use. No one flips out over him working anywhere, so .... yeah... commone sense.

    Stone Cold truth

That really bugged me too and Austin lost most of his overness with me over that. He gained a lot of it back while he was the heel champ from about April until he started burying the Alliance. I don't really hold him at fault for that, but I haven't enjoyed his presence on tv since the summer of 2001. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, I just haven't enjoyed his work. Plain and simple.

    House Show results for 11.7

Souns a lot like the house show i went to a few weeks ago. The Dudleyz and Spike brought a kid into the ring to give a table piece to as well. It's a real cute moment that wouldn't hurt them to do on tv someday.

    Something new?

Honestly, I love the idea to pieces, but there is no chance that's going to happen right now. The WWE probably should give it a try though, I don't really think it would hurt them at this point.

    Crash Holly passes away

RIP to crash, first of all. Second of all, after reading that statement, I got a picture in my head of Abraham Lincoln and Genghis Kahn giving him the doomsday device. I don't know what that means. Can you just picture Abraham Lincoln sneaking up on Crash in heaven and winning the Hardcore title?

    Shopzone's Latest

Ditto! On a side note, the John Cena shirt was pretty disappointing. I want a John Cena shirt, but I refuse to wear those colors.

One and Only WWE Smackdown Thread!

Only 3 pages? This is depressing... is everyone busy on Thursdays or something?

    Jones

Team Lesnar would have better chances if they had gone with Brock, Sean O'Haire, Rhyno, Charlie Haas, and Shelton Benjamin. I bet the buyrates would be somewhat better and the actual match would be more fun. I'll jump on the "Nathan Jones sucks" bandwagon, but only because he really does suck. Matt Morgan MIGHT be good. Like everyone else, I wasn't terribly impressed with his performance last night.

Mad Mikey (Crash Holly) Passes Away

I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Michael Lockwood. I will always be grateful for the two times I saw in live. Last November I saw him lose to Tajiri at a Velocity taping and just back in April I saw Crash beat Jamie Noble at another Velocity taping. He was an underrated talent and has left us with some of the funniest and most unique moments in wrestling history. He'll always hold a special place in my heart for stopping that Brisco/Patterson evening gown match at KOTR 2000. R.I.P. Crash

    Armageddon

Triple H wouldn't be willing to be squashed by anyone at this poing in his career, nor would he be willing to let the Smackdown main event overshadow his match once again.

    Crash Holly passes away

Rest in piece, Mike. I'm glad I was able to see you live twice. You're going to be missed.
