I'd love to do a superhero draft. I'm not quite up to speed with creators and such as the rest of you seem to be, so I'd sit that later one out.

Is that really the best rebuttal you've got?

That's all kinds of fucked up. -
I'm going to that too. I'm expecting to be one of the oldest non-parents there.

No. It doesn't affect me whatsoever and no one is being hurt. If you get sickened by the happiness of those different than you, then you're in for a long, frustrating life.

Don't buy any of those. Save your money and buy something decent. Especially when those Tribute to the Troops DVDs are terrible and you can find them for three bucks at FYE.

ROH Tag Team Title Tournament of HONOR

Well, that was moronic of the security guards. Don't they know that trash-throwing is usually a great sign that an angle designed to generate heel heat and crowd hatred has worked? -
Great job, Bill. You sacrificed your credibility and respect all for nothing. Now shut up. You lost fair and square, and you both only have yourselves to blame.

Thank you for sharing One Night Stand with us!

I just signed up for this service for the first time in a couple of years because I heard about all the new content (complete Raw's, programs on the IC title, etc). I think four dollars a month is fine. I don't suppose there's any way for me to get the full 24/7 service on the internet either, since my current cable package can't include it?

Kindergarten = I got to color all day, it was awesome. First grade = I remember this year fondly. It was the only time I ever enjoyed science class. Second grade = Meh. Third grade = Meh. Fourth grade = I remember this year fondly. I had the same teacher as I did in Kindergarten. We had a lot of fun field trips and I got along with everyone in my class really well.

Fifth grade = alright. Sixth grade = miserable. Seventh grade = somehow even more miserable. Eighth grade = actually pretty great.

My high school experience was a real roller coaster of ups and downs. I fondly remember my freshmen year, even though I fully realize that I didn't think it was so great at the time. It was a really simple year, I wasn't actively pursuing any girls (in school at least, there was a girl in my local theater group who I was really into and to this day I believe had we seen more of each other we would've ended up dating). But most of my freshmen year I just remember having a good time with my friends, having fun being immature, playing lots of great video games, listening to a lot of at-the-time-great music that I wouldn't have enjoyed if I was older (Blink 182, anyone?), and just having a minimum of responsibilities. My sophomore year I was more angsty. It was the first time in my life where I actually felt low because I was failing with the ladies. A lot of my friends had a revolving door of girlfriends, which bugged me at the time. My lack of women troubles ended towards the end of the school year, but I was frustrated a lot. I also remember this period for being frustrated with my home life also, as I wasn't getting along with my mom anymore and this was probably my most awkward year. The first half of my junior year had the same awkwardness from sophomore year carry over. For the first time there was one particular girl at school I was interested in. And she was something else, as far as playing mind games and everything. She would drop hints that she was interested in me too (at one point flat out saying it and other times she'd want to kiss me) and then other times she'd act like I was a complete afterthought. This semester also became annoying when my best friend decided he liked her too, and it lead to a lot of tension. Towards the end of that semester things came to a boiling point, as this girl was also bi-polar, and she told me off one night. She quickly apologized for it, but by that point I'd had enough and I moved on, which lead to the second half of junior year... ... which was freaking fantastic. Just an all around good time. Senior year was interesting. I had a long term girlfriend who I'd hooked up with over the summer and we had a hard time adjusting to being a couple in the high school environment. All summer we'd been alone at her house, and it had been wonderful. It didn't help that I discovered what a huge flirt she was with other guys. We had a bumpy relationship until a rather dramatic/ugly/dragged out break up in the spring. I feel annoyed looking back that so much of what should've been my grandest year of high school was spent on dealing with her and all the different dramatic shit she played (for the first time in my life, I was the target of school-wide gossip). Luckily after the break-up, I was able to have a strong finish to high school, with my group of friends who I'd unfortunately not been spending enough time with up to that point.

Well, my summer vacation from teaching begins June 26th. From there I'm going to work part-time at Best Buy and a grocery store. I'll end up going to Maine for camping and general relaxing for two weeks in mid July. I'm also going to the Warped Tour for the first time. That's my summer in a nutshell.

Former Bush Press Secretary writes "What Happened"
SamoaRowe replied to SuperJerk's topic in Current Events
To be fair, he only talked about the movie so he could make fun of it, and promised he the movie wouldn't be a topic at the end of last night's show. The number 1 story of the night is ALWAYS something stupid. I know, I love Olbermann, I was just making a playful jab. -
That is retarded on so many levels. First, having seen the ad, the scarf doesn't look like anything a terrorist would wear whatsoever. Secondly, even if it did, so fucking what. This is pure xenophobia towards Muslims and I'm pissed that Dunkin Donuts caved in like that.

He's going to be on Olbermann's show tonight, either to discuss this book or the Sex and the City movie, I can't be sure of which. -

Yeah, what are these consequences with tax breaks, etc, that would exist that don't exist already? And what precedent would it set? I know people love to try and argue that if we let gays get married, next thing you know people will want to marry animals. Yeah, that's a logical connection. We're talking about consentual adults getting married, they're not the same by any stretch of the imagination. -

Yes, yes I would. I would say "I have nothing against you as a person, but I think marriage is traditionally defined as between a man and woman should stay that way." So you would deny them the same rights as you just because of you're traditions? How would them getting married upset the traditions of marraige when it comes to your own life? Are you going to be laying awake at night going "Dammit, they're married, that's not the tradition!!!!" And if they got upset at you for saying something like that, they would be completely in the right. -

SamoaRowe replied to SamoaRowe's topic in Current Events
A. Yeah, people do need to defend themselves if they oppose gay marraige. They should back up when they claim that someone else shouldn't have the same rights they enjoy. B. Hey, if I come across like a jackass it's only because I'm frustrated with people who hate gays and follow the same lies and talking points when they try to back up why they should be deprived of equal rights. C. No, you've missed the point (like many have). The whole animals thing is evidence that being gay isn't a choice, but just how some people are. That destroys any notion that people choose to be gay as if they could turn it on or off and they choose to be that way just to piss off religious and conservative people. -
That's too bad for Narnia. I still want to see it, especially since the word of mouth says that it's darker and more intense than the first one.
