Lesnar v. Undertaker will be the last match (or at least if they are not the dumbest people on earth). Vince v. Steph IS the main event, though, since it got all the hype and promotion and TV time. Jason I wouldn't be surprised one bit if McMahon vs McMahon did get turned into the main event. Remember that the WWE was seriously considering having McMahon vs Hogan as the main event to Wrestlemania 19. In fact, the main event was still up in the air the morning of WM.

Every time there is a Cruiserweight title match on a PPV, people predict that it will be the match of the night. Then the match gets about five minutes and everyone feels angry. I have a feeling this will be no different (can't take time away from McMahon vs McMahon, and all the hype angles it's going to have).

Really? My memory is bad, when were the other times this happened? (Besides Over The Edge 1999).

It's sad to hear that yet another wrestler has passed away. This was a total shock, unlike Stu Hart. Rest in peace, gentlemen.
-
god no Wouldn't bother me seeing as I hardly go in there in the first place. I'd probably just starting posting around the Misc. folder for the sheer hilarity of seeing 1IP with power.

Don't jinx it! No shit! I would be forced to vomit in disgust.

WWE Title Biker Chain Match Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar Desired Winner: Brock Lesnar. I don't want to see 'Taker with the belt at this point in his career. Lesnar is in his prime and needs to dominate now. I Quit Match Vince McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon Predicted Winner: Vince McMahon Desired Winner: Probably Vince because I hate Stephanie the most. WWE U.S. Title Match Eddy Guerrero vs. The Big Show Predicted Winner: Eddie Guerrero Desired Winner: Big Show BUT by similar means as Kane beating Shane at Unforgiven. Show ends up winning by luck which won't hurt Eddie and will free him up to go after the WWE Championship. WWE Cruiserweight Title Match Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio Predicted Winner: Tajiri Desired Winner: Tajiri. Why? I think Rey Mysterio would be a good contender for the U.S. title. I want Rey to move on to bigger things while Tajiri feuds with Jamie Noble, Spanky, or Paul London. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena Predicted Winner: Kurt Angle Desired Winner: Kurt Angle. Why Angle victory? So the feud will get more serious and have a rematch at Survivor Series with some cool stipulation. Zach Gowen vs. Matt Hardy Predicted Winner: Zach Gowen Desired Winner: Matt Hardy. Gowen hasn't won a match since he beat the Big Show with a ton of interference. It's a shame that Hardy would have to be the one sacrificed to make Zach look credible. Chris Benoit vs. A-Train Predicted Winner: Chris Benoit Desired Winner: Chris Benoit. It seems to me that the WWE only pushes A-Train for the hell of it and don't really have faith in his abilities as much as other big men. I'm also starting to sense a Benoit push... can't describe why I feel this.... but I do.

For the sake of the future of wrestling, I pray that Rob Van Dam heads to TNA and helps give them that boost they need to survive.

Gail Kim was pretty good at the house show on Friday. She's hot in person, I don't know what TV does to her.

I just went to see WWE: Unleased at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH and it was a great time. The crowd wasn't all that big, but they were lively and into most of the matches. -Rob Van Dam vs Scott Steiner This was a pretty okay match. RVD was mad over and Scott Steiner was the first wrestler out and the crowd gave him proper heel heat (he made some sexual comments about the Hooters girls in the front row). RVD won with a VanDaminator, which was awesome to see live. All you RVD haters should stop and realize that he's one talented guy regardless of how WWE uses him. -Val Venis vs Stevie Richards My friend, Chris, says this was the match of the night. Lots of back and forth action (and Victoria was freaking hot). Venis was extremely over and the crowd was polite to Richards as well. He managed to get some heat. Venis kicked out of a Stevie-kick (which was AWESOME) and managed to win with a reverse knee-lock. Great match! -Lita and Ivory vs Gail Kim and Molly Holly Lita is GORGEOUS in person! She looks great in shorts and she is just so lovely all around. Molly and Gail looked great too and Ivory's happiness was charming. The four women put on a fine match, with Ivory playing the face in peril. Lita cleaned house and ended up pinning Molly. This was a fun match. -Mark Henry vs Tommy Dreamer Theodore Long was fucking hilarious! He picked a fight with The Fink and Fink really tried to kick his ass. Mark Henry was huge, but sucked all at once. Tommy Dreamer got a nice ovation and he fucking ruled. We gave him some very nice pops once everyone else shut up. And the match? Mark Henry sucked. Tommy Dreamer ruled. The End. Oh, and Dreamer lost -The Dudleyz vs Rob Conway and Renee Dupree The Dudleyz got the best pops of the night (besides maybe Goldberg). The crowd was into every aspect of this match. We got to choose the tables stipulation, which turned into a good choice seeing as Rob Conway got powerbombed through one by Bubba-Ray. Say what you will about the Dudleyz being stale on TV, they are mad over with live crowds. We even got to see LSD come out and give some assistance. After the Dudleyz won, they brought a kid into the ring and Spike took a picture of the kid posing with D-Von and Bubba Ray. This was awesome all around. -Intermission I bought a RVD t-shirt. I'm wearing it now. I feel like I spent my hard earned money well Chris bought an Evolution shirt and it fucking rules as well. -Lance Storm vs Rico Rico got no heat at first, but he managed to build some up during the match. Some audience members chanted "boring" for Storm which resulted in me screaming "SHUT UP!" at the top of my lungs at them. Funny enough, but it worked Storm won and got to give Jackie Gayda a big kiss in return. Chris wishes he was Lance Storm. There were also lots of comments about Gayda's "boobies." Chris loves boobies... especially Jackie Gayda's. On a side note, we got to see Lance Storm drive out in his car after. He had to stop and he signed a few autographs from his driver's seat. One young girl proclaimed "Lance Storm, will you give me your autograph?!? I don't think you're boring!" It was really nice, he didn't have to but he did. I avoided my urge to rush his car. -Kane vs Shane McMahon This match was a fucking disgrace. I think it was about five minutes long and Shane won with a Van Terminator. That is all you need to know. -Booker T and Goldberg vs Randy Orton and Triple H The crowd was hot for this match. Lots of stalling, but that was okay because Goldberg destroyed everyone in the end. This was pretty good and Goldberg was very over. So was Triple H, which was sort of a surprise. Typical ending with Goldberg pinning Randy Orton after a series of spears. One jackhammer later and Orton was finished. Nice little main event. After the match, Booker and Goldberg posed with audience members and signed autographs. I even saw Golberg hoist a kid up on his shoulder. Good times! All in all, I felt like my money was well spent. It was a great time and the wrestlers were obviously having a ball. Tonight I forgot about the horrible-ness of the Raw show. If the WWE were to just air house shows in place of Raw, I bet the ratings would go up. Me: "Anything else I should say?" Chris: "I hope Vince loses to Stephanie. I like her boobies."
-
The Hurricane, Christian, and Y2J were missed. I felt bad for one kid who was completely dressed up like the Hurricane (and a lot of people bought High-light Reel shirts). Angle, Benoit, and Guerrero are great and all, but the Raw stars really shine away from the Monday night environment. Val Venis and Stevie Richards tore the fucking house down.
-
RVD wrestling the way he does the past few years injury free > Goldberg tripping over his shoe-lace in the parking lot.
-
That's what I was thinking. And the WWE actually thinks they'll be able to get Rock for Wrestlemania 20?
-
I'd rather they save Goldberg/HBK for Surivor Series, let Nash have the time off, and keep Triple H gone until at least January.
-
TNA will be around six months from now. Hell, I think it will be around six YEARS from now.
-
At least it wasn't his brother.
-
Umm.... I don't know, I like most people. The only times I ever dislike someone in these boards is when they misunderstand something I say and take it personally and then start making cracks like "you're talking out of you ass" at me. Besides that, I like most people here. Yesh, even the Dames
-
Um, I don't have a problem with you. Your posts bring me great laughter. Even after being proven wrong a dozen times over in the TNA folder, you still fight on. That amuses me.
-
I think No Mercy will turn out good on a workrate level but the buildup has been awful. I think Vince needs to stop smoking whatever he's been doing lately and realize that the WWF did just fine during the 80's when there were no McMahons in the storylines.

What WWE Pay Per Views have you Skipped?
SamoaRowe replied to The Mandarin's topic in The WWE Folder
Does Unforgiven count because I watched it for free online? -
THAT's a main event? I'm just going to assume those are a parody of a line up. I made that match a WrestleMania main event in one of my EWR games. Of course by that point, both had overness of 100 (they have awesome ring chemistry in the game).

What WWE Pay Per Views have you Skipped?
SamoaRowe replied to The Mandarin's topic in The WWE Folder
Summerslam 2003 was the first WWE PPV I've ordered at my own home (because friends came over to split the cost). I've gone to others to watch Badd Blood, and last year I saw No Mercy, Armegeddon, and Summerslam at a friends house. Besides that, I usually buy it on video or DVD (whatever is cheaper at that point). -

I don't always make it a priority to watch the PPVs live, but I do like to catch up on most of them. I've seen every WWE PPV this year at some point except for Royal Rumble (which I intend on seeing sooner or later, especially since the DVD is only 13 bucks for me because I work at Best Buy). -
This thread has been a most entertaining read. Keep up the good work!

The movie sounds awful... I can't wait to see it.
