Scientists: Same sex couples found in nature.

Well, then you're taking a big old shit on all of them with your attitude on this subject. I bet you wouldn't say any of this to their faces either. -

Well, when you have gay friends and family, who you know to be wonderful, perfectly well adjusted people, who have never done anything to hurt anyone in their entire lives, and then you see screaming idiots on television saying things like "gays shouldn't get married because it JUST ISN'T RIGHT" you start to get pissed off very quickly. I know gay couples who have great relationships, and they put some of the heterosexual couples I know to shame when it comes to simple things like, you know, respecting one another. Oh, and if homosexuality poses any risk to Christianity, it's because a lot of people look like huge assholes when they say things like "God hates gays." That is a huge turn-off to most rational people. -

Way to miss the whole fucking point. The fact that homosexuality is found in animals supports a notion that people do not CHOOSE to be gay or not, it is a part of who they are. In other words, it's natural. Do you really know people who throw a fit like the one you just described? It reeks of something that you made up. Maybe there are people like that who are overly defensive, but I know of far more people who would be on the verge of kicking the ass of anyone who hinted there was a drop of homosexuality in their personality. And personally, I look at marraige as between two people who love each other and are committed to building a single life together and taking care of one another for the rest of their lives. And how that scares people who are not involved is something I'll never understand, I guess. -

The "pro-gay agenda?" Yeah, who do they think they are, wanting equal rights and everything. I know it sucks when science doesn't support your political views, but just because science proves you wrong doesn't mean it's not worth debating, don't you think? I don't really care that you don't think gay marraige is a part of some religious traditions. I'd like to hear you say that to a gay couple's face and see if you don't feel just a little bit stupid saying something like that. You're going to deny someone else the same opportunities for happiness just because it doesn't fit into your mold of what a real family should be? Same sex couples are normal people who are just as capable of raising a family as straight people. A person's sexuality does not determine what type of parent they would be. Accepting gays doesn't make this board "left." And if it's a left attribute to be in favor of giving equal rights to these American citizens, then it means that the Right is openly oppressive and it's amazing to see that fly in this day and age. -
Wow, I just started playing my 90's playlist on Rhapsody and then I stumbled onto this thread. Right now I'm blasting "All Apologies" by Nirvana to drown out the sound of a kid outside my apartment who's been screaming and crying for the last 45 minutes.

Good lord, I missed that rant the other night. This is reason #105,352,000 why I love Olbermann.

It's not that bad of a show. The main event delivers big time, Cena/Dupree is a decent little outing, the opener tag is quality, Dawn Marie's outfit gets ripped so you get a nice shot of her ass in a thong, and most everything outside of the Mordecai squash is decent-ish. It's not a bad way to spend two and a half hours. The only thing that flat out annoyed me on this show was an aspect of the Rico/Haas vs. Gunn/Holly match. Rico was using all sorts of gay antics to freak out Holly and Gunn. What annoyed me was that Gunn had spent the better part of a year pretending to be gay as a part of Billy and Chuck. If he was comfortable doing that (until he realized he was about to marry a dude) then why would Rico (who was his fucking manager of all people during that time) be thrown off his game then?

Good lord, I honestly hope no one really believes that Limbaugh can sway an election like that, especially in this day and age. And what the fuck are people like Kerry doing, giving him credit for that.

That sounds terrible. Why would Vicki bother stripping the Undertaker of the belt (which suggests she favors against him) and then give him such a free pass to getting a shot to win it back? And she's the GM, she can just give Edge a title shot anytime she wants, why would she need the elaborate plan of having a screw job at the end of a TNA-ish tournament that takes up the entire show?

Glenn Beck and Hershey Park in the same day
SamoaRowe replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in No Holds Barred
A comedy performance by Glenn Beck surely can't be any more hilarious than the unintentional comedy of his "news" show. -

I went to my first WWE event in almost two years a few weeks ago and I'd forgotten how hilarious the casual fans who go to those shows are.

I just want to throw out that the new X-Force is developing into a nice read. Issue #3 was awesome and provided lots of mark-out moments as some very scary individuals have been revived.

He was a speechwriter for Nixon. You must be crushed! Nope, I didn't know that bit either. Though I'd hardly say I'm "crushed" as I didn't have any sort of emotional investment in viewing Stein as a good guy, nor would I hold that job against him in the first place.
-
Wait, that's really the position the movie takes? Wow, that's disappointing. I always thought Ben Stein was a smart guy, but now I'm noticing that I really don't know much about him other than his game show and commercials.

I think a lot of it is that the republicans havn't really lived up to their end of the bargain either. They probably thought Bush would have banned abortion or criminalised homosexuality by now. They seem to now realise they were being used ( 8 years too late, though). I think I tend to agree more with SuperJerk's assessment. Anyone who really thought Bush was going to do any of that stuff was just plain delusional. I had a coworker who tried convincing me to vote for Bush in 2004 because he was supposedly going to end abortion. He seriously told me to "think of the babies." I just shook my head, if Bush hadn't done anything about it in his first four years, what made him think he would in his last four?

Double post, shit man.

Candice did softcore, Cinemax-style porn. That's a lot different than the hardcore version.

Are you still with Luna Vachon? And how was/is having Butcher Vachon as a father-in-law?
-
Now THAT would have been great television.

I love the mall track. It's by far my favorite new track. I was disappointed that the battleship level from the DS game wasn't included.

Thank you for providing the easy links to Backlash. I got another review out of it.

I think people just classify Bush as "stupid" or "retarded" because it's more comforting than accepting the possibility that he's done all of these horrible things deliberately knowing the consequences of his actions.

Thank you, that line just made my night. And dammit, I still like Juno too. I don't really care what other people are saying about it, or how exposed it's become.
