Owen --- Bustin out a "Wooooo!!!" Davey Boy --- Delayed vertical suplex Yeah, I caught on to that too. When he was doing the delayed vertical suplex i was thinking "This isn't like Storm.... ooooh yeah, the tribute thing." I liked the match too, the crowd was nice enough to only chant boring for a few seconds. Lance Storm vs Stevie Richards makes me happy, ***.
  2. hell, i wish it had stopped him from breathing... Anyone remember back in 2001 when Kurt Angle's wife was making angry statements over how she was pissed at RVD for busting open Angle every time they wrestled? I thought that was pretty fucking hilarious. Imagine if Angle had been in ECW... Why am I picturing Kurt Angle hiding his face while she was saying that going "I don't know her....." That's probably what happened! I can't imagine she was too thrilled with his street-fight with Shane earlier that year too.

Who's next to win the world title

I'd love to see Edge win the title. However, I see him suffering the same fate at Rhyno and Benoit once he comes back. Don't forget that before he got injured, he was stuck feuding wtih A-Train.

    Hey Ma!!! Lookie Here...marks

He must be destroyed.....I have targeted him for termination. Hasta La Vista.....baby. The last loyal WWE mark is about to get what's coming to him. I find it really funny that anyone enjoys the WWE as much as this kid does, it's almost inspiring. Almost.

    Am I the only one?

I wouldn't mind if Batista never came back. The top heel needs to be Jericho. Unfortunately, he's already lost to the top face twice, so they screwed up there...

    No Mercy theme song

Nah, they're probably saving that for Wrestlemania....
  8. SamoaRowe

    Is this correct...

It's matches like Angle/Brock keeping the buyrates as "good" as they are in the first place.

    No Mercy theme song

Most of the PPV themes haven't been too bad this year. "Enemy" was decent and "Price to Play" was generic, but fitting. Everyone is right about how generic nu-metal has become. It's painful to listen to the new stuff coming out. WWE should just use Cold songs for everything.

    Am I the only one?

I don't know about everyone else, but I don't miss Triple H one bit. How can I when the main angle still revolves around him?

    House Show Changes?

Well, now instead of looking forward to seeing Jericho, Storm, Christian (and maybe RVD, depending on whether you like him or not), you can look forward to Benoit, Eddy, Chavo, Noble, Rey, Ultimo, Angle, Cena, Lesnar, Tajiri, Kidman, etc. I'd appreciate the trade-off as much as you can. Jason That's awesome and all but I've been to Smackdown twice already. I've seen most of those guys, I have never seen Jericho or Storm in person. The last time i went to Raw was early summer of 2002 so they were still on Smackdown at that point. Well, either way I'm still excited. I'm sorry if you didn't get the other message I left (which is understandable because I clicked on the link and I didn't see my second post in here either, three posts occured in a very short time), but I checked WWE.com for you and it's still listed as a RAW brand show. Jason Ah, I just saw your second post two seconds ago. Silly me. Thanks for the update.

    House Show Changes?

The WWE are coming to the Verizon Wireless Arena on October 17. For about a month, they have been hyping it up to be a Raw houseshow. Then suddenly last night a local network played an ad for the show hyping it to be Smackdown. I would have thought it to be a mistake except that a lot of work had been put into the new ad. I bought tickets for the show a couple of weeks ago. I don't mind if it's Smackdown, I was just looking forward to seeing Jericho, Storm, Christian, etc.

    Raw house show results 10-3-03

Okay, Shane wins again? Bah. I bet he'll beat Kane again when I go on 10/17.

It's kind of nice to know that SOMEONE still enjoys what the WWE puts out.

Yeah, for some reason this week's Heat has been hyped up as being something special. I heard something that Tommy Dreamer also has an awesome outing, and the Storm/Richards match was reported to have been good. On a side note, I will forever hate Stephanie for all the shit she's done while being on the creative team. She's not qualified to be there and she will continue to ruin the product.

    The Raw Review 10/5 - 10/11

Or...: Kane def. Rob Van Dam & Jeff Hardy, Bubba & Spike Dudley, amd Chris Jericho & Christian in a TLC Match for the Tag Titles (I think) You're right. I taped that show (for some reason) and I still have it to this day. The show forever pisses me off.

So it's been exactly one year since the Katie Vick storyline started? <hangs head in shame>

    Aaron Williams badmouths Canadians

They're just trying to get any excuse they can to explain why Shawn Michaels, one of Raw's top faces, gets booed whenever they are in Canada while Chris Jericho gets a hero's ovation.

When did you start disliking HHH?

I don't mind heel Triple H winning at WrestleMania in 2000 (though I did at the time since I was a huge mark) but I didn't think it was the right time for Jericho to lose (because I knew he was going to be buried). The problem with X-8 was that everyone knew HHH was going to win. I would've wanted a surprise!

It's cheesy but it improves the song. That, and I can somewhat relate (even if it was made in a way intending for most people to be able to relate).

    Hell on Earth

Yeah, that's been big talk on the local rock station. Personally, I think it's just an act. Who's really going to sit around all week thinking "I can't wait to kill myself for those people!" It's not like the poor bastard will have it as a nice memory years from now....

It's a flop compared to The Chocolate Starfish and The Hot-Dog Flavored Water. That album had first week sales over one million. I bought that album when it first came out and I ended up giving it away a few months later.

Hmm... I'm sorry that A Perfect Circle's sales dove so quickley, I was really hoping it would continue to sell well. The new DMX sucks. Believe me, I work at Best Buy and it's an incredibly lazy album of a bunch of stuff he's already done. The new Dave Matthews is meh. I hate to say it but the guy has his formula and he's sticking to it. Limp Bizkit? They're a joke. A really bad and awful joke. Don't try telling me that the reason they aren't popular anymore is because people got sick of rap metal. Rap metal killed itself by getting overconfident and by putting out shitty music. The new Outkast looks good. I haven't gotten to listen to it all the way through yet. Hillary Duff? Awww... I don't mind her one bit. Nickelback? I like the "Someday" video, but it's not a very good (or original) song. I'm also going to scream if I hear one more new song with that same title.

When did you start disliking HHH?

I first got into wrestling around 1998, through the WCW video games (I didn't have cable, so I didn't have easy access to it). Then I discovered the existence of WWF Shotgun that was on late nights (I think it was around early 1999 by this point) and I got all swept up in the drama. I didn't get to see the entire Corporate Ministry storyline, just the highlights. And those highlights were among the most exciting television I'd ever seen at the time. There was a guy mixed in to all of this that I didn't quite notice. To me, he didn't stick out. His name was Triple H. My first WWF show was the 1998 Summerslam. Triple H faced the Rock in a ladder match, and all I remembered from that night (at that time) was The Rock and Chyna. In fact, I was way too intrigued by Chyna during most of the match to even pay attention (I was like WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!?). From the summer of 1999 until the end of 1999, I was out of touch with what was going on. Somewhere I heard that Triple H had become WWF Champion. My response was: why? There are so much better wrestlers than him! January 2000 was the happiest time of my life (sort of). We got cable installed and I was finally able to watch wrestling regularly. I watched Smackdown for the first time and I became an instant mark for the new version of Triple H. I loved to hate the guy, and looking back now he was my favorite throughout 2000. However, I also made another new favorite during that time. His name was Chris Jericho. I wanted Jericho to be on the same level that Triple H was. Needless to say, when HHH beat Jericho at Fully Loaded, I was dissapointed. I was even more dissapointed the following month at SummerSlam. Jericho was back in the same old midcard feud with Chris Benoit, and Triple H was back in the main event. This planted the seeds for my later disliking of Triple H. Then Triple H went down with a torn quad. What happened while HHH was gone? Chris Jericho became a main eventer. He headlined King of The Ring and Vengeance, and participated in the main events at InVasion and Survivor Series. He also was put in a high profile feud with The Rock, where Jericho won the WCW Championship. Later that year, Chris Jericho became the first Undisputed Champion against The Rock and Steve Austin. I was marking out the whole way. My disliking of Triple H came when he returned from his injury. If Jericho/HHH was supposed to be the main event at WrestleMania, they should have started the feud early to allow it to build up. Instead, on HHH's first night back, it was Kurt Angle who interrupted the return speech and not Chris Jericho. In fact, if I didn't know any better, I would have told you the main event at 'Mania was going to be Triple H/Kurt Angle seeing as they were feuding up until about 2 weeks before the big show. During this time, nothing good was happening for Jericho. He had a great Royal Rumble match against the Rock but lost his momentum at No Way Out. He faced Austin in a match that had zero hype and only won because the nWo interfered. That same night, Triple H lost all of his momentum by losing to Kurt Angle. So now the WWF had about four shows left to hype up the main event to WrestleMania. Instead, Jericho and HHH hardly interacted. By this time the main event seemed as if it was going to be Stephanie McMahon, with Jericho in her corner, vs Triple H. Steph and HHH were trading insults while Jericho was walking her dog (could it have been any more obvious that it was Steph writing this shit?). The next big dissapointment was the HHH/Jericho Wrestlemania match. The crowd wasn't that into it, neither guy was on top of their game that night, and the match was just bland. It didn't help that HHH went over Jericho again. The following month at Backlash, Triple H wrestled in the main event... and Jericho didn't even have a match. By this point I had a serious disliking of Triple H. I almost got over it though. They were scheduled to meet in a Hell in A Cell at Judgement Day. Maybe i was wrong about the downward spiral of Jericho's career, and this was going to keep him on top! Nope, Triple H won again. This was the turning point. By this point I didn't give two shits about Triple H.
