Ok so where is the Test/Steiner fued going now??
SamoaRowe replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Really? Out of Grenier, Dupree, and Conway, I always liked Grenier better (and I loved Rob Conway's Velocity match from last year). The Dudleyz don't make good heels anymore because they act the same as they do when they are faces. They will get popped for regardless. -

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to this either. I'm just going to continue to be thankful that the Dudleyz vs La Resistance is over though. -

Well, if the WWE wanted a swerve in this storyline, I'm glad they had Steiner turn on Stacey. The Stacey swerve was called by many and would have been just plain predictable. I'm guessing we're going to see the Dudleyz vs Steiner and Test at Survivor Series now? -
When I hear people discuss their lack of "faith" in RVD as world champion, I want them to stop and think about how much faith they have in Triple H as champ. Then I think they would at least see it as a step up.

All I know about steroids is that just about all the big names in WWF were using them in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's and it was painfully obvious. Besides that, I like to think that most wrestlers these days don't use them regurarly.

I'm not sure RVD had to sell the ribs, I think he was he legitimately in pain. And yesh, Ladder matches have been overdone with between Raw and TNA. Same goes for cage matches (though I really like the TNA cage matches).

The 4-eyed grouch sounds pretty fucking amusing at this point! Brock could become the most dominating nerd in the history of wrestling!
-
I'd say this was on par with the Eddie/RVD match. The match was a good ***1/2 outing, and a definite reminder of why I'm a passionate wrestling fan.

What is her new song anyway?

I don't really care who's fault it is. All I know is that it pisses me off. I suppose both Vinces (McMahon and Russo) can be held accountable for this, but a lot of people I know who I described above seem to still live in this little world where wrestling is like it was in the 80's where most of the stars were big, sweaty guys.

Or Giant Gonzales?

I am so fucking sick of these ignorant assholes who have never even watched five minutes of any wrestling show who say stupid bullshit like "wrestling is stupid, cuz it's fake and barbaric" or "it's just big, fat men in tights body slamming eachover." I can't go to any fucking family gathering without my wrestling interest coming up and all of these "holier than thou" Christians are like "Eww, wrestling is horrible!" I then ask when they've ever watched it and the response usually is something like "I dont' need to subject myself to that, I know what it's all about." People need to understand wrestling before they criticize it, but none of these assholes do so I want them to go away.

If the WWE have any brains, it will be a long LONG time if and when Triple H ever wins that title again. And just for the record, I would mark out for a vampire Triple H
-
That's exactly what I meant before! Jericho could have fun playing off the fans in that way, without breaking his heel character but interacting with them on a positive level! The marks would probably respond back accurately and smarks would just have a mark-out moment of their own. However, Brock's heel character isn't supposed to be a silent, 4-eyed, grouch.

Latest Shopzone Haul: It's a big one!
SamoaRowe replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd wear all of the above shirts, excpet for the Goldberg one. I wouldn't want to be mistaken for a Goldberg mark, that's all. The retro shirts are awesome! I think it sucks that they go for the whole 25 bucks each though. So far the only WWE shirt I own that hasn't shrunk is my Kurt Angle "Submit" shirt. My Brock Lesnar "F-5 Unleashed" shirt shrank before I even took it off the first time. -

LoL! I bet the first shirt sold really well over-seas. -
It's fine if RVD wants to act like a stoner and all because it's funny the way he does it (not that I think drugs are cool or anything, I think they are stupid). But i agree that it would be wrong for WWE to openly play into it. RVD could have a good "Cheech and Chong" thing going, or something along that nature.

That makes a lot of sense. However, wouldn't some of us want autographs from people like Chris Jericho, Christian, and John Cena? I think it's okay if the heels still act like heels, but to an extent. Maybe just act all "I'm better than you" in a somewhat joking way. The marks will avoid the heels during autograph sessions and the smarks will be completely amused.

I like the new angle shirt. That Undertaker shirt might just be part of the WWE's movement for nostalgic shirts (along with DX an Austin 3:16). Not a bad Goldberg shirt, either. -
It is Eddie's choice to do steroids or not. However, I can't help but look down on it. It just seems so...so... I don't know... wrong?

Hmm.... Charlie Haas is a human. I know that working as a cashier, I sometimes get annoyed when there is long lines for a long period of time. It can get to a person. So I sort of relate with why Charlie Haas might be a bit annoyed to sign a ton of posters for one person. Brock, on the other hand, I don't know how to excuse that. I'd find it hard to shit on people who came to admire me and were thrilled to be able to meet me. It would take quite an ego to not enjoy that. I'm not surprised at all how Cena and Benoit treated the fans. Those two come off as two of the best Smackdown has to offer. Brock does as well. He might just be playing heel to the fans, but who knows.

I think Eddie, of all people, would be one to stay away from steroid abuse considering what he's already been through.

Heat thoughts: Victoria was nothing short of stunning tonight! I couldn't take my eyes off of her whenever she was on camera. Val Venis vs Stevie Richards was absolutely solid! Good match, and I really enjoy Stevie's work. Grade: **1/2 Rico vs Arch Kincaid also turned into a pleasant surprise. Rico's gimmick was actually making me laugh tonight, and I enjoyed the story told by the two men. Grade: *** Rodney Mack vs ??? (missed the name) This was the best I've ever seen Rodney Mack. If he were to perform like this every time, I might just turn into a mark for him. Good stuff! Grade: **1/2 Scott Steiner vs Crowbar. I missed Crowbar on Velocity, but this was cool seeing him again. I caught him on TNA a few months back as well when he lost to Sandman in the Hard 10 tourney. This was just a squash, but it was a spirited one. Grade: ** Heat this week was better than Unforgiven.
