Well, sadly his skin color is primarily black, so it would probably come across as awkward for this black appearning fellow to be calling himself white. And while his father was an asshole, that doesn't change his heritage at all. You cannot pick your past. Then again, I'm not sure why you care.

If anyone would be kind enough to send me a feed link, I'd be thankful. Sounds like a good show thus far.

What a load of shit.

Either those results or full of hyperbole, or this was the greatest ROH show in history. -

Sounds like an awesome show. I can't wait to see it. -
I'd say further down the midcard to the point where it won't consistently be defended on pay-per-views anymore.

I discovered this site on Saturday, thanks to an article in Entertainment Weekly. It's pretty cool, I've watched The Simpsons a couple of times.

Haha, you missed me the first time I came in here.

Nope, you're right on the money. Well done.

They are still continually out of stock at my Best Buy and I still get endless requests for them. Last week, we sold 35 of them in under an hour.

That poor child. He was not idea what he's endorsing. I hope when he grows up he slaps his parents for making him wear such shit. It's also hilarious to me that anyone thinks a Democrat president could make a bigger mess out of this country than what our current Republican president already has.

Agreed on all accounts. If anything, this so called controversy has done nothing but reaffirm my position as an Obama supporter. Oh, and I totally voted for Howard Dean in 2004.

By the way, if you added me on Smash Bros. would you please send me a PM letting me know? I have Rando set up, but I'm not sure who else has.

Whats the first pay per view you saw live?

First ppv live on television: No Way Out 2000. First ppv live in person: Backlash 2005. -
I expect the Deadpool story will last 5-6 issues like most arcs seem to these days. I don't mind it, as it's sort of a comedy break in between a lot of seriousness, but if this is the new direction of the series I would be annoyed. I loved the Captain America flashback story though.

He started on #475 in the summer of 2006.

Yeah, the comic style shots was one of the few aspects of the 2003 film that I actually liked.
-
Hell yeah. First day, if I have my way.

Personal attacks on Olbermann won't change the fact that he is right. Most of the time if I bring up Olbermann in an argument against a conservative, their comeback is "Don't listen to him, he's a LIBERAL" as if that should be the end of the debate. Whooaaa, I didn't see that one coming. Or it's "He's too angry." That's a wonderful argument. I need a drink.

I was student teaching in the fall. Let me tell you that fifth graders STILL draw that. I was floored by that.

It's a bit of a mess right now in the wake of Messiah Complex, but it seems to be the following: X-Men Legacy: Written by Mike Carey and a revolving door of artists. The story is focusing on Professor X's mind being pieced back together after Bishop shot him. Xavier's body is in the hands of the Acolytes, and in the last issue Magneto showed up. Uncanny X-Men: Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Michael Choi. Right now there are two stories going on. First, Cyclops and Emma Frost are investigating a strange happening where a bunch of people think it's the 60's (including Angel and Hepzibah). Meanwhile, Wolverine, Colossus, and Nightcrawler are visiting Russia. X-Factor: Written by Peter David and currently illustrated by Valentine De Landro. The roster is Jamie Maddox, Siryn, Strong Guy, Monet St. Croix, Rictor, and still technically Layla Miller (but she's missing in action). The last issue set up a confrontation with Arcade. This is a strong series, well worth your time. X-Force: Written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, and illustrated by Clayton Craine. The roster is Wolverine, X-23, Warpath, and Wolfsbane. They are trying to take out the Purifiers once and for all. Oh, and they have resurrected Bastion by sticking his head on Nimrod. Cable: Written by Duane Swierczynski and illustrated by Ariel Olivetti. Cable traveled into another time with the baby from Messiah Complex to try and protect her. They are being hunted down by Bishop, who wants the baby dead to spare himself (and all mutants, I guess) from the hell he lived through as a child. Wolverine has a rotating creative team from arc to arc. Right now he's hunting down Mystique in the Middle East. Wolverine Origins: Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Steve Dillon. This series focuses on Wolverine's past (which is what the other Wolvie title ends up doing half the time anyway). Right now Wolverine is in the midst of a battle against Deadpool. Young X-Men is starting up soon. Also, I don't read New Exalibur, but the roster includes Dazzler, Juggernault, Captain Britain, etc.

Wow, John Morrison FINALLY gets to be on Wrestlemania. He got screwed out of Wrestlemania 22 and 23, so this is nice to hear.

I really hate commercial breaks during matches. It drives me nuts that it's perfectly acceptable to have a commercial free 20 minute block to have an extended in-ring interview, but we can't have an eleven minute match without needing a break somewhere. My philosophy is that on television, you really shouldn't be having matches that are any longer than what can be contained in a single segment (make more room for the entire roster to have a chance to shine).

Do you enjoy seeing a Woman get beat up, if shes an annoying heel?
SamoaRowe replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I would get annoyed anytime that a woman got attacked by Austin (as a face) because J.R. would always excuse it. At Bad Blood, Austin stuns Mae Young. J.R.'s only thoughts are "Well, that's Austin, he's a rattlesnake, you never know when he'll strike." The next night on Raw, Test is abusing Stacy some more, only now J.R. is all "Damn Test's black soul to hell" and the like. Generally, I don't approve of women getting beaten up in general. The only exception that come to mind are when the Dudleyz spent a good month trying to put Trish through a table, mainly because Trish was really fucking with Bubba's mind and the entire angle was leading up to that one spot of retribution. -
Yikes, the last pay-per-view I ordered was Summerslam 2005. The one before that was Vengeance 2004. They are too expensive, and I only feel like it if I have a big group of people to share the cost, and barely anyone I hang out with likes wrestling anymore, or at least enough to get a pay-per-view. Though they are perfectly willing to drop 10 bucks for a general admission ticket to Ring of Honor.
