Also, what was Petey William's motivation to turn face last year? All I remember is him suddenly cheering on the American flag and getting forced cheers?
-
Kane turning face because Snitsky killed his rape child.

I attended the Friday show and it was absolutely tremendous. I was expecting another event like Dedicated (solid, yet missable) and instead we got another Death Before Dishonor V Night 1 (fantastic main events capping off a solid undercard).
-
I'd actually pay to see that.

Top 3: Obama Clinton Edwards Botton 3: McCain Paul Hunter

Honor Reclaims Boston is a show full of good matches, with pretty much everything hovering around the *** mark. The main event is the standout, as it blew the roof off the building, and is at least ****1/4 (it's KENTA and Davey Richards vs. Aries and Strong).

Glory by Honor V Night 2 is a steal for ten bucks. I'd get that one above all else.

Basically Peter made a deal (with Mephisto, I think) that said he would save May's life, but only on the grounds that his entire marraige to Mary Jane would be erased from history. As a result, some characters who have been gone for a while (Flash Thompson, for example) are now back. It sounds all sorts of screwed up, and when I heard this is how the story is ending, I stopped buying the books.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch

Exactly. Let's not turn this into a debate over whether or not people criticize ROH or not. -

"Waaaah, he's saying bad things about ROH!" Outstanding comeback. And thank you for pointing out how ROH is the only wrestling company in the world that ever had wrestlers working hurt. -
ROH NYC Weekend Shows (12.29-PPV, 12.30-Final Battle 2007)

Those cards are absolutely beautiful. I wish I could be in attendance. -
I've been finding X-Factor to be a first rate title since it came back, I'd recommend picking that one up, even after Messiah Complex is complete.

Yeah, some of my 2003/2004 posts would make me cringe a bit, but I feel pretty solid with everything from 2005 and on. -
I ordered this game from Amazon for 4.99 the other day. I can't wait to give it a shot.

My mom: books. My dad: gift cards to restaurants and a coffee mug. My sisters: books, DVDs. My girlfriend: video games, books, crayons. My friends: DVDs, computer games, action figures. My in-laws: blank DVDs, jewel cases, DVD stands, books.

Yeah, Randy Orton at #5 really threw me for a loop. How did they go about defending that decision?

I was broke for a while and couldn't keep buying comics, but I tried catching up this week. I couldn't find the Chapter 3 issue of X-Factor anywhere, but I found chapters 4,5,6, and 7. There has been a big surprise in almost every issue and some compelling developments, it was a lot of fun to just read that many chapters in a row without having to wait. I also filled in the blanks as far as what happened in the issue of X-Factor I missed, so while I still want to get it eventually, I didn't lose out like I'd feared.

They do not have a letigitimate gripe. There's no Hollywood rule against making a film with an atheist message. They don't have to like it, but protesting a film because of it's message in a country where we all have freedom of speech is just really funny to me. No little Catholic children will be held at gunpoint and forced to watch it, so all they are doing now is giving the film some free publicity.
-
Yes, it's the Catholic League and they have no official connection to the Catholic Church.
-
I'll gladly support that cause. It got to me more last year (due to DS Lites being unavailable too) but this year it's bouncing off me more.

He said that on his very show, I posted the transcript here months ago. If I have some free time in a bit, I might find it again.

I get more scared when Bill-O says things like a woman can never die as a result of her pregnancy.

I love it when I'm at work and people ask me for movies like "RV" on Bluray. It's worth the extra 15 dollars to see THIS movie in better picture? Really? And I agree, Mickie James + HD = happiness.

One of my pet peeves about people complaining about the film version of V for Vendetta is that it's some sort of "endless action movie with no plot." Granted, I haven't read the book, but having seen the movie, I didn't feel that way at all. There are some action scenes, but there's a lot of down time between them, filled with story. And as far as changing things for the movie, I can see why people might be annoyed at the way Evy was changed, but that's pretty much how it goes with Hollywood. And as far as the art being horrible, I'm reading Watchmen right now and the art is just fine (and it's not the same artist from V for Vendetta, which I was looking at in Borders the other day simply for comparison).

Actually, putting Dempsey in that match provides all sorts of opportunities for entertainment. If Dempsey is pinned, Hero and Toland will rough him up over it. If anyone but Dempsey is pinned, Hero and Toland will rough him up for not making the save. If Dempsey somehow gets the pin, then Hero and Toland will rough him up for stealing their thunder. Good move, ROH .
