What the hell is that even supposed to mean?

The first elimination chamber match was pretty good, but not really that "great." The Nash/HHH HIAC was about *** to me, which is pretty good considering Nash was in it against the 2003 version of Triple H.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch
SamoaRowe replied to theintensifier's topic in General Wrestling
Yeah, I don't know where the Morishima hate is coming from. I've seen him twice this year at ROH events, and both times he delivered a dramatic and intense World title match. -
I bet they're really happy about deciding not to crown Orton as champion last Sunday. Imagine that, Orton's second reign would have been even shorter than his first.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch
SamoaRowe replied to theintensifier's topic in General Wrestling
My point was that serious injuries happen all over, not just in the indy's, so why should it just be indy guys who would need to turn it down? Yes, I am well aware that Mercury's injury was in a ladder match, yet it happened in WWE. I don't see anyone starting "WWE needs to tone it down" threads. -

Injuries happen all the time in wrestling. Joey Mercury had a serious eye injury while working in the WWE. Hell, injuries occur constantly in WWE, even with the slow, generic style they have in place. -
The OAO Thread For The Twentieth Annual SummerSlam Games
SamoaRowe replied to RonL21's topic in The WWE Folder
I have trouble believing that Kennedy won't get injured badly again before Wrestlemania. He and Edge both seem to have trouble staying healthy and shouldn't have longterm booking plans tossed their way. -
She better not go to prison. I hope there's protesting if this isn't thrown out of court.

Shit, I can't believe there was a shooting outside the building and I didn't know about it at all the entire night. This makes me a bit nervous about going back in October.
-
Great reference, indeed. I actually watched that episode on DVD when I saw it here the other night .

I heard something about a shooting at the ROH boards, but I didn't hear the details. Did the shooting involve anyone there for ROH or was it some gang thing going on near the venue? I was completely unaware of it until the next day.

Claudio/Morishima was AWESOME. Easy **** match.

Dude, I'll be there too. If you're interested in saying hi, I'll be wearing a blue Superman shirt and I'll be sitting in the GA bleachers, a few rows up and towards the middle (that's the current plan at least). It should be a tremendous show. That card is stacked.

I have a feeling that Triple H is going to be very disappointed with the reaction to his return this time around. The fans don't respect him the way they did in early 2002, when their last memories of him were his awesome 2000-2001 run. Now all they remember is the way he stunk up Raw in 2002-2003 and the "DX buries the roster tour" in 2006.

I have every issue thus far and I'm still enjoying it (granted, not as much as the primary Wolverine title). I've stuck with worse titles in the past (see Generation X).
-
I'll say this, I'm mainly an X-Men fan. Therefore, I tend to pick up Uncanny X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, X-Men, X-Factor, Wolverine, Wolverine Origins, New X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, Immortal Iron Fist, and I sometimes pick up Captain America, Incredible Hulk, and sometimes random titles that look interesting on given issues.

They need to stop right now. As if the world wasn't overpopulated enough.

"Lack of maturity" is a reason for suspension? Then why was JBL never suspended?

WWE Monday Night Raw scored a 2.5 rating Monday night, down from the previous week's 3.4 rating. They scored a 1.83 in males 18-49, a 1.99 in males 18-34, and had a total of 3.4 million viewers. This is the lowest rating the show has done since moving back to the USA network. The above-mentioned demographic numbers were down a half a point from the average. Credit: F4Wonline.com

When Was The Last Time You Were Surprised By A Match Finish?
SamoaRowe replied to Chazz's topic in The WWE Folder
I was surprised twice last night. 1) When Kennedy pinned Lashley. 2) When Carlito pinned Cena. -
PWG: 2007 Battle Of Los Angeles thread
SamoaRowe replied to PsychoDriver's topic in General Wrestling
This is a little off-topic, but I don't want to start a new thread either. Suppose someone is just getting into PWG for the first time, what would be the best DVD to buy from them? -
Who do you want to win the WWE Championship Match at SummerSlam?
SamoaRowe replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
Cena needs to retain. Orton would be an awesome WWE Champion and it would only be a matter of time before he caused some "RVD being busted with weed" type embarassment for the company. Besides, his true moniker is Randy Orton: Ratings Killer. -
The last ppv buyrate estimate I read was for Backlash and it was in the 180,000 region, which is terrible news. That number used to only show up for little hyped Smackdown-only ppvs.
-
I'd mark out for that too. Also, wouldn't it be neat if Jeff Hardy was awarded the revitalized European Championship and was added to the match?
-
So the tallest guy in the company is World champion and the shortest is the cruiserweight champion. This has "hilarious" magazine cover written all over it.
