I don't feel bad watching it like this for two reasons: 1) My apartment doesn't have pay-per-view. 2) I'm going to buy the DVD anyway, and I go to shows and buy DVDs on a regular basis as it is.

As to the argument over whether or not Cena is selling merchandise, I would have to argue that he is. I see Cena shirts all the time. Not just at wrestling shows, but at work, at the mall, in the park. At wrestling shows, I've seen people carrying spinner belts (including his old U.S. title). The only other wrestling merchandise I've even seen in the normal world lately has been DX shirts.

Come on, that "spider-pig" moment in the trailer killed me. In a good way.

Well, if someone can't have a good feud with Finlay these days, then they probably have no business being in wrestling. Finlay just flat out rocks and even made the Boogeyman enjoyable.

If TNA could get a two hour slot and book shows the way they were in early to mid 2003, they would be in MUCH better shape. Nothing fancy, just really solid wrestling presentation.

In the "Mania of Wrestlemania" movie included on Wrestlemania XX, The Rock says that Austin told him that he loved him, and he returned the sentiments.

I agree that we should NEVER wish assasination on the president of the United States (besides, do you really want President Dick Cheney?) but I agree that it's a travesty that Bush hasn't been impeached and dragged kicking and screaming from the White House. What does this guy have to do to have his own party turn on him? Kill a puppy on the stage? Rush Limbaugh would probably say the puppy was a liberal and deserved it. This is not about Republicans vs. Democrats. This is about the worst lying piece of trash president being allowed to do whatever the hell he wants without giving a shit to any consequences. His reelection is going to go down in history as one of the stupidest acts ever committed by the American people.

Due to Mole's recommendation, I preordered it on Amazon yesterday. I'm looking forward to reading it right away too, I waited on HBP and this jack-ass I knew spoiled the ending right after I had just said I hadn't reat it yet. I almost killed him.

Excellent point about The Sandman, which is a fact I doubt the creative team even has taken into account. I bet they'll pull some bullshit about the ECW title not being a true "World" title before June 2006 .

I personally thought Tietam Brown was outstanding, but extremely depressing. There are moments in that book that made me feel as if I'd been punched in the stomach.

I really hope that ECW rumor is true, because I'd be happy with any possible outcome from it.

I'm a huge fan of the Lionel Show, and I followed it from WOR from New York to Air America. I've been listening to a few other Air America shows lately, and I find them to be a mixed bag. Tom Hartmann has his good points, but his show is too dry for me. Randi Rhodes is growing on me. I used to listen to Howie Carr all the time, but he ended up driving me away when it became obvious that issues with illegal immigration had racial undertones and his anti-gay messages were polarizing as well. Dr. Joy Brown on WOR is a welcome alternative to Dr. Laura, due to her advice actually being useful.

Nebraska's flag law says: "A person commits the offense of mutilating a flag if such person intentionally casts contempt or ridicule upon a flag by mutilating, defacing, defiling, burning, or trampling upon such flag." Sounds legally sound to me.
