So, has it been established what the status of the Women's Championship is? Is the belt leaving with Trish, being retired, or will it be vacated and I'll have to tune into Raw to find out tonight?

It's not so much that they get mad when they can't find something, it's when they take it as a personal insult and decide they need to cope with it by saying something snide to the employee, who has zero authority over what products get sold in the store. -
Danielson retained via cattle mutilation!

Other Raw wrestlers failed the drug tests?

I believe the new policy was they'd continue working on television, but would be removed from house shows. That way tv is not interupted, and they miss out on collecting money from the gate at house shows. -
Yeah, I'm not positive if the local Hooters still shows them, but I haven't taken the time to find out. I usually spend sundays at my girlfriend's house too, I don't think she'd be too thrilled if once or twice a month I dragged her there to watch wrestling Still, Unforgiven sounds like it'll be decent, and perhaps worth my 13 bucks later. But 40 bucks? That's just plain laughable.

Without even hearing about the main event, I can safely say this... I want this show...

The Kings of Wrestling won the tag belts. Marafuji retained in what's being reported as a "MOTYC."

Splitting the cost with friends is fun, except that most of my friends are too disgusted with the current product to even want to do that.

40 dollars for a normal WWE pay-per-view is outrageous. Seriously, I get them on dvd for 13 bucks with my Best Buy discount, lately I haven't even thought it worth it for that price.

I'd say the 1990's, but I'm biased because it was the decade when I first discovered pop culture.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

I work at Best Buy, and today was actually my last day on the front lanes. Some pet peeves include: Kids who come in trying to buy an Xbox 360 or car stereo equipment with a parent's credit card or check. It's absolutely not allowed. They bitch and whine about it, and finally leave. Then they come back about 20 minutes later with their parent, who then proceeds to bitch me out for making them come all the way there to buy their spoiled brat's shit. Seriously, it makes me want to kill. This amuses me more than anything, but in the morning I'll get there up to an hour before the store opens. The gate will still be up and everything, and these people will practically walk into the door before they notice that it's not opening. Then sometimes they'll wave their arms in frustration and storm off. The other great part is that other people trying to come in, who can presumably see that others couldn't get through the doors, will also proceed to walk right into it. I hate anyone who doesn't understand how the Reward Zone program works. Especially the people who think they can use it like a gift card and then act outraged when I tell them otherwise. People who get mad when I ask them if they have a Reward Zone card. Seriously, if I don't ask, then people forget to use it, and then remember AFTER the sale, and then I have to void it all out and start over. If I have to put up with that shit, I think customers should be able to handle saying "No" or "No thanks" and stop bitching all the damn time. And the last pet peeve I can think of, is when people buy TiVo, or satelite radio, or something that involves a digital subscription. Due to legal and contract reasons, it is absolutely required that we get a phone number and information for these purchases. There is no way around it, it is inevitable. And people stand there and argue with me as if there is some magical way I can change it. The best part is when they say they're going to buy it somewhere else instead, because I'm pretty damn sure any other retailer is going to require the same information. Ditto for when someone protests that they can't return used DVDs or CDs. The best line is "I'm never buying movies here again." I wish them luck trying to pull the same shit at Circuit City. -

What makes you say Haas? He's really not that chiseled. Venis, I could see... -
20 bucks is a perfectly acceptable price for the ROH dvds. Hell, WWE pay-per-views on DVD go for 20-25 bucks and don't have half the content that ROH shows do.

Anyone who wants to catch up on Ultimate X-men
SamoaRowe replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in Literature
There's an Uncanny X-Men cd-rom as well, and I've seen it for 40 bucks at a few different places. I work at Best Buy, so I was all over that Ultimate X-Men cd, and I've been pimping it to everyone I know. -
This is huge for Lashley. He made his PPV debut at No Mercy last year, so that's pretty significant.

If night two turns out as good as it looks on paper, it will surely be a must buy dvd. Also, Danielson's injury may hurt the quality of the title defense against KENTA, but it will up the drama, so it will even out.

The first time I ever saw (or heard of) Shelton Benjamin, he did a job to Justin Credible in the dark match at the first Raw I ever went to.
-
Brock Lesnar also jobbed to Lance Storm in dark matches. Kurt Angle jobbed to Val Venis in the main event of a house show once. Just back in June, Mr. Kennedy jobbed to Tatanka at a show I went to, and he's the U.S. Champion now. Besides, who says Terkay is definitly losing to Benoit? Benoit has a track record of having to be the guy to give the rub to whatever mid-carder of the week that Smackdown is pushing.
-
glad i'm not the only one. striker should be punished or something for a comment like that... that was pretty harsh. Actually, Striker didn't come up with that line, Brian Gewirtz did. PWI reported it a little while ago. Also, Vince McMahon greenlighted the script too, so Striker is the innocent party on this one.
-
Chavo Guerrero vs Tatanka in a main event? That doesn't make any sense.
-
I just picked up Star Fox Command without doing much reading on it, since Star Fox games have a pretty good track record. It's not what I expected it to be, but it's still pretty fun.
-
The actual matches on Smackdown sound pretty good thus far this week.

Most underrated Summerslam matches of all time

Venis vs Brown, without a shadow of a doubt. I don't think the 2/3 falls Jericho/Benoit match from 2000 gets enough love either. -
The fine people at my local EB think the Wii will go for $229.99. That's still pretty good.

I'm going to pass on this one too. If I buy any WWE dvd this week, it'll be the Great American Bash.
