None comes to mind. Though I saw her in a good tag match at a house show once. It was Lita and Ivory against Molly Holly and Gail Kim, and I honestly enjoyed it.

I didn't go to many movies this year... but out of what I saw, I thought Shaun of the Dead deserved more attention.

It sounds more entertaining than any WWE pay-per-view since Vengeance.

Hey, thanks for reading, I'm glad to know I've been an influence. For the record, my style of writing out the shows comes from a WWE diary I read at the old EWR Battlegrounds by a guy named Plankton. He did a diary where all the main eventers and upper-midcarders left, leaving the mid-carders to step up. He had a Wrestlemania XIX headlined by Jamie Noble and Rey Mysterio. I'm sorry for the lack of new shows, but I promise I will kick things back up. I have had the Vengeance card ready for months now, I'm extremely anxious to write it and get ready for the Royal Rumble (which I also have a planned card for).

Wow, this could lead to a really great storyline between JBL and Simmons, especially considering that the last time we saw the two of them together, Bradshaw was pleading for Simmons to stay and talk to him. But I'm just going to leave it to the Smackdown writers to botch it.

Its time for a VELOCITY (12-04-04) THREAD
SamoaRowe replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
You may have to go back to 2000 for those types of expectations. -
I so badly want to see that Punk/Joe match as it's happening, the heat is going to be over the top!
-
Wow, I think I saw most of those matches. My favorites were the tag matches that Chris Benoit/Shawn Michaels/Shelton Benjamin/Edge had against Evolution. They were really exciting at the time and was the first time anything on Raw was "can't miss" in ages.

Terminator 2, because it has aged better than Titanic has.

Wasn't there already a thread for this site? Which reminds me, this guy really bugs me. Thank the heavens we have this guy around to tell us what to listen to.

Heyman removed from WWE writing team
SamoaRowe replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
My point is that the quality of the product goes up when he's on board. Likewise, I have yet to hear any official reports of instances of him acting like an asshole besides having a different opinion. I can imagine he is an intense person that probably rubs people the wrong way often times. I would just like to see the other writers (and Vince) get a backbone and appreciate the talent Heyman is rather than demoting him everytime the product is getting some momentum. I remember in early 2003 when Heyman was released, Smackdown had been on fire for months. After Heyman was demoted, the brand slumped. Okay, now I have to go to work. -
I was wondering the same thing... Didn't Backlash get a really good buyrate this year too? I heard something that it actually did 500,000 buys, but I can't remember if that rumor was squashed or not.

Heyman removed from WWE writing team
SamoaRowe replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
The difference is that Heyman's ideas are good. The other writers are saying things like "We have nothing for Rey Mysterio" or "let's turn Booker T voodoo" and they all get to keep their jobs. -
Heyman removed from WWE writing team
SamoaRowe replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't care how much of an ass Heyman might be to the other writers, all indications show that they deserve it. If ratings go up and the quality of the shows improve with Heyman on the team, then Vince should be looking to make Heyman happy before any of the other writers and he should put his ego down and accept that he might have to trust Heyman more. Why the hell would Vince let Russo take the helm for the Attitude era, but seems so driven to keep Heyman down? -
Post hoc reasoning. RAW moving to TNN was not the reason the show started to suck, but an independent event that coincided with the decline and merely created the illusion of a cause/effect relationship. I was being serious, I remember the very first night that Raw was on TNN. Nothing on the show felt right or clicked. Stone Cold came back for an interview and I became sick of him again within minutes. Of course, Raw's last night on USA was nothing to write home about either (nor was the Unforgiven ppv that took place between these two events).

Don't ban Muggy, Muggy is cool. That, and he actually read my EWR diary for a while too and I need to get back to reading it. I got into some other stuff for a while. IT's not every day the American Dragon fights Chris Benoit.... ok, it's never.... LoL, true. I could use some readers, lately I haven't been very motivated to work on it. That and I've been too busy (and my newer shows have originally written matches, not copy and pasted from EWR... that is going to end for a while too, I think).

They not might get better, but I'd be overjoyed to see Raw on USA again. For same reason it was never just the same once it moved to TNN.

I never bought the Summerslam dvd, because just about every match on it is nothing that would be new or fun to me. I would like to do another DVD review soon. So I'll let any readers choose Wrestlemania XX or No Mercy 2004?
-
I'd say I hate the inhuman shoppers and bad drivers the most. These people are just sick.
-
It's more than I was expecting. After the terrible buys that No Mercy and Taboo Tuesday got, I was expecting it to do 220,000.
-
But this is coming off of months of reports saying that Fox was bringing Family Guy back due to high syndication reruns and DVD sales. They had better follow up on that promise eventually.
-
I don't have any final pic, but I would nominate: Chris Benoit Eddie Guerrero Samoa Joe Triple H I'm sort of reluctant to throw in Triple H, but he really did have a good 2004. The quality of his matches went up (though that had a lot to do with quality of opposition) and he actually let the World title belong to someone else for six months. Benoit and Eddie are easy picks because they were both finally allowed to become main eventers. Samoa Joe, because he is the longest reigning champion in North America, and because he is so respected. When Triple H or Jeff Jarrett have long title reigns, everyone grumbles. No one is complaining about Samoa Joe though, he is the backbone of ROH.

First review of the Chyna/X-Pac sex tape
SamoaRowe replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
After reading that description, I think the tape would make a great joke present for a couple of assholes I know -
Sweet deal, I'm going to Backlash in May I always hoped they'd hold a PPV in Manchester, but I wasn't sure if the Verizon Wireless arena was suitable for them... but whatever
