Most Visually Satisfying Part of Your Day?
SamoaRowe replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Chat
It ranges throughout the week. Sunday: Seeing my girlfriend. Monday: Sunset. Tuesday: Sunrise. Wednesday: Folliage. Thursday: I dunno... sunset. Friday: Sunset. Saturday: The exit sign at work, after putting in 10-14 hours at two jobs. -
Haha, I saw that episode air on the Family Channel several weeks back. Good stuff.

The "American Idiot" album from Green Day.

I heavily enjoyed that line as well. I wonder if Angle should file a lawsuit agains the United States over their prolonged use of his likeliness.

That Tough Enough segment wasn't so bad. Better than the Diva Search at least. If it continues to draw decent ratings, I won't complain.

I was comtemplating making this thread, good work C'mon, people. Smackdown has been blowing Raw out of the water since the late summer... give it a chance... open your minds... no Randy Orton, right?

The entire "Animals" album by Pink Floyd, because it doesn't get enough love.

The entire Eddie/JBL feud was majorly underrated, it's just a shame that Eddie did not win the belt back in that cage match. My favorite matches of the year thus far: 1) Chris Benoit vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XX) 2) Eddie Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar (No Way Out) 3) Eddie Guerrero vs JBL (Great American Bash) 4) Triple H vs Chris Benoit (Iron Man Match) 5) Kurt Angle vs Eddie Guerrero (Wrestlemania XX) 6) Paul London vs Jamie Noble (Velocity) 7) Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin (Bad Blood) 8) Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels (May, was it?) 9) Eddie Guerrero vs JBL (Judgment Day) 10) Chris Benoit vs Kane (Bad Blood)

I also blame the years of boozing, smoking and heroin. They have KILLED his voice. I remember watching Stone Temple Pilots on VHI Storytellers years back. It was a pretty good little episode, and Weiland was all proud of himself for pulling his life together. This was 2000 or so... it didn't last.

"Pain" by Jimmy Eat World.

Back when I was a freshmen in high school, my friend and I played a game of Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64. We were playing as our own CAWs and had ourselves a cage match. It was awesome, the match lasted for over 40 minutes and we ended up taking turns administering the beating (but not on purpose). There were many near escapes of the cage, but I wound up as the victor (which probably enhances this memory quite a bit). It was an epic battle, so probably a ****1/2 match! Another time, my same friend was playing that games "Road to Wrestlemania" mode and he was put in a triple threat match with Christian and the Godfather. I swear to fucking God, he was playing that same match for almost an hour, and he would frequently throw a fit because of Christian's "invicibility" during the match. I think I remember he won the match eventually, but it was funny to watch him struggle through a match that wouldn't seem to be very difficult to an outsider.

I used to work at Sears and I made a friend there who shared my love of wrestling. Well, one night I had a dream that for some strange reason, WWE was holding an event at Sears and the ring was set up where my cash wrap was and the department was cleared out for the audience. I dreamed that my friend and I showed up at the show and posed as local independent wrestlers and they put us in a dark match against Triple H and Shawn Michaels (once again, for some strange reason). My friend took on Shawn Michaels, but I dreamed that I was half-assing the match the best I could and Triple H was actually selling my punches. Unrealistic? Yes. But it was my dream, and it was glorious

I know they do "Sex Type Thing" and "Crackerman", but I don't think they do any more STP songs. Ah bummer. Thanks for the info though!

As a New Hampshire student, I cannot wait to see how few people show up to my 9:30 class tomorrow... I'm not even sure the professor will show up, I bet he's as drunk as any college kid right now. Congrats Sox, now hopefully my peer will shut up.

I totally love Dr. Strangelove. Awesome movie, great ending.

It's going to be on again at midnight. Anyways, good episode.

Hmm... how about that I just love Bret Hart and I think he's one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever step inside a ring.

TSM's Unnoficial Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!

Damn, I wish I'd noticed when the voting was taking place. I have no problems with any of those picks though. -
I've been lucky as the shows I've been to have been decent-good. The most lackluster show I attended was probably the Smackdown! house show from the night after WrestleMania XX. WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero def Big Show Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero def Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, and Jamie Noble in an elimination match. Torrie Wilson def Nidia, Special Referee: Funaki WWE Tag Champs Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty def World's Greatest Tag Team, and the Basham Brothers United States Champion John Cena def Rhyno A.P.A. def Akio and Sakoda Tajiri def Shannon Moore Billy Gunn, Billy Kidman, and Paul London def Nunzio, Johnny Stamboli, and Chuck Palumbo Hardcore Holly def A-Train The show wasn't all that good, but I enjoyed myself and there was many amusing moments spread out across the night. One fan in the front row had a blast roasting all the heels and got to interact with most of them. Johnny Stamboli ripped up his sign that said "The FBI Like to Wack" and Big Show flipped him off for holding a sign "Push Big Show... Back into the Ocean!" The other side said "Hide the Food, it's Big Show!" Shelton Benjamin also made a remark on the microphone about how he stirred his mother's milk the previous night.

I love it when Benoit uses it now. It wasn't quite as cool when The Rock used it.
-
The video was okay, I liked some of the visuals in it. The song was meh. But agree about it being better than "Just Lose It."

"White Houses" by Vanessa Carlton. Sue me.

Velvet Revolver are coming to my area soon... tickets are 30 bucks... should I go? I don't really care that much for the Velvet Revolver album, but it would be neat to see Weiland, and maybe they'd pull out some old STP stuff (I doubt their album provides them with enough material for a full-length show?).
