I was originally Bret Hitman Hart, then I changed to Maksed Man Of Mystery

If you go to baen.com, then click on free library books, you can download free versions of some of their books to read on your computer or PDA. I just discovered this and thought I'd spread the good news. They seem to publish fantasy and sci fi books. Enjoy. I know I will.

I was poking around on the High SPots lucha sight, and I found this: Look where that camera is pointed, and please, let's keep the thread alive!

Just send Shane Helms. -
Will it be downloadable, or would I have to stream it? I'm curious as to how backyard wrestling looks
-
Okay, I'll take Al, but neither of the other two are near as bad as one of the "legends" sitting on Torrie(I couldn't tell who was who)

This show has some good wrestling going on, but the women's travesty(which seems to confirm what they said on the DVD board about Moolah and Mae) and the tranquillizer deal just ruined this show for me. Those two events are then lowest Smackdown's gone as far as I know, and really, only the necrophelia angle is worse than this stuff, I think.

I read most of this stuff when I had very little life and pretty much all of it. I also used to be read books very quickly, so I liked polishing off Jedi Academy books in a day. Only other thing I did that with was the Hardy Boyz book. I was really disappointed with Shadows though. I just didn't enjoy that one much. Same with Truce at Bakura. I just wish the X Wing books were stil going, I could read those forever.

Why not put Dusty at the announcers' table? He proved on the Benoit DVD that he can absolutely hilarious and its better than him trying to be a thrid member of America's Most Wanted.

I have a Toshiba laptop I got at Best Buy and other than an odd thingamabob some site installed on the computer before I went to Mozilla, everything has been fine other than the power supply. Thankfully, I have the Service Plan, and things have been cool, other than some confusion the last time I needed a replacement. They're usually pretty okay about things, although loaners don't exist there. From my experience though, making a scene is a nice way to look like an idiot and get laughed at by employees later on

But half the fun of listening to Rampage is seeing how many times they have to bleep him! Good for him, I guess, but I hope it also doesn't prevent him from trying to piledrive somebody again. -

Sorry about the double post -
Is it me or is every rock station
Masked Man of Mystery replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Music
I have some pretty good stations where I am, but I usually stick to NPR/sports talk. I avoid morningshows like the plague where they play music because it is so stupid. That's why Howard Stern gets ratings as far as I'm concerned -
I don't buy a lot of stuff, but I usually play the heck out of whatever I like at the moment(right now that means the Project A-ko CD) and I download tons of Overclocked Remixes and burn them when I have enough to fill a CD

What has wrestling taught you?

I've learned to never ever punch a balding blond man with an extreme tan and a handlebar mustache who favors the colors yellow and red, particularly if he's shaking. -

By the way, who si the dirtiest MMA fighter do you think? I remember hearing Mark Coleman telling Randleman to smear the blood from Rutten's broken nose into his eye at UFC 20. I'm sorry, I lost a lot of respect for him when I heard that, you sohouldn't be telling a fighter to try to blind someone with his own blood. That's just low. -
MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Masked Man of Mystery replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Once again I'm reviving this thread becuase I just got UFC 47 on DVD and I want to know all about this Lidell/Ortiz thing. I know Ortiz was probably the biggest star in UFC for a while, but frankly, he was a stubborn idiot in this fight. Everyone was saying take the man down and he stood with the Iceman. Then he gets caught in the corner and PUTS HIS HANDS UP. God. I'd think a man who was the Light Heavyweight champ would knwo to counter punch or shoot or something, but instead he folds up and does the standing equivalent of turning onto your belly and just covering up. ANything anyone could tell me about this would be greatly appreciated because this was my first purchase of a recent MMA show(all of my DVDs are from 2000-2002 and my one UFC tape was from 1998, UFC20). By the way, is it just me or is MMA getting more corpoate? "I'd like to thank my sponsers" annoys me to no end. Thanks in advance. Oh, and what UFCs were Ken Shamrock in since his comback(ie his stuff this year, I know at 48 he fought Kimo, but he mentions fighting someone before that and I don't know if he's fought since) -
I think the tag titles were essential to the viability of the Hardy Boys as a credible team, especially after years of jobbing. While I'm discussing my favorite tag team of all time, here's a statement: if TLC and whatnot had never happened, Jeff Hardy would still be employed by WWF(I can't stand calling it WWE) and the Hardys might still be a team(I think they were split after the draft, but feel free to correct me).

I'm amazaed this hasn't been done yet(at least, it wasn't on the first two pages of the forum), but what sports do you feel should be part of the Olmp[ics. I feel that there shoudl be a Mixed Martial Arts competition. It's the closest thing there is to the ancient combat event, and you could do it in the boxing ring ala PRIDE. I really don't think it would matter if it were summer or winter, but I think boxing is only summer, so it would make sense to have it then. What do you think, and what else should be part of the Olympics?

I was about to say I would think Daredevil would appreciate being an Avenger. By the way, what ever happened to the Vision(he was a cool character) and at any point did any member of the Fantastic Four join the Avengers? One other thing, since they seem to offer emembership to just about everyone, did they ever try to get Punisher to join? I mean, they once tried to get the Hulk for God's sake.

I didn't have time to watch thje trailer, but reading the about part, two things came to mind, The Da Vinci Code and The Blair Witch Project. This could all be very well fictional. -
I imagine fun could be had with WWF Royal Rumble(Raw too, if you don't mind that Owen's in there), and NBA Live '96. Far better than it's sucessorsin my mind and you can create a team of legends. Very cool.
