In a theater, definately. I saw Metropolis on a cheap DVD at home and I was bored to tears. I saw the Kino restoration at a local indy theater, and it was magical. Felt like time travel.

OAO The Show that Isn't RAW Thread
Masked Man of Mystery replied to The Mandarin's topic in The WWE Folder
Actually, I thought Cena was doing exactly what he should be doing....as a heel, that is. I sort of hope Booker/Taker gets dropped so we can get Booker/Cena where this gets picked up and Cena turns heel. Wishful thinking I know, but I can dream. Comes with the territory of being a Kidman mark, I suppose. -

Well...she did work for ECW. >_> And I do'nt see how anyone can say Sable looks 'old'. She is, but she sure doesn't really look it, she definitely was fuckable just then. Please explain. Theb only woman I saw in ECW was Francine and that was at Wrestlepalooza '97. She wasn't acting llike a stripper, at least not that night -

Does anyone know if Dawn Marie worked as a stripper at any point in her life? She sure seems like it -

The dialouge in PF stands out to me more than how it's put together. But is it just me or does Tarantino not like putting movies in chronological order?

I very much like this movie.

I liked R and C are Dead. I read another one of his plays but I can't remember which one it was.

I may end up sounding like an idiot, but could someone tell me what exactly was the point of Pulp Fiction? I get the sort of basic storyline, but it sort of tails off and well, the best explanation I've heard is "day in the life" and that is just weak, so if anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Masked Man of Mystery replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
By the by, how is King Of the Cage doing these days? I have a 2 DVD set with their first 4 fours on it and it looked promising. I noticed in particular a rising fighter named Duane "The Bang" Ludwig who is a kickboxer trained by Bas Rutten in wrestling. Anyone know what's going on with the promotion and this fellow? Unfortunately the shows are like 4 years old(You can get them altogether for $6 at Best Buy in the bargain section, the first show isn't great and there's no commentary, but but all the other shows have commentary and the production values markedly increase with each show) -
Here's the one way you can save Smackdown right now: At GAB, Eddie vs JBL, RVD comes out in the outfit he wore tonight(the Invasion tiger tights). RVD throws salt in the eyes of the referee, does a real Van Daminator to Eddie(chair and all), and pins Eddie. He becomes the champion. See Exit Sandman for why he has to throw salt in the referee's eyes. Apparently half blind refs count for anyone. Thus we get Eddie vs RVD. At least he's near main event level. Besides, it's Smackdown, I think no one will mion dthe HUGE jump in logic there. Hey, who else can Eddie beat? The way things are going, I don't think they'll put the belt on JBL(thank God)

Okay, the only puro DVD I own is one of the FMW DVDs put out by Tokyopop. I sed to have another one, but my friend lost it. Anyways, for both his look and his wrestling, I am a big Hayabusa mark and I hope that his promotion does well. But does anyone know if there's any particular reason why his outift looked like it did, or why he later he got a tattoo on his chest, or could point me to a site with this sort of info?

I've heard nothing but bad things about that anime. Which makes it rather perfect as the US Manga Corps mascot, as I don't think any other non hentai releasing company has translated so many bad OAVs. They also managaed to botch all of their big DVD releases the first time through(Lodoss, Slayers, and A-ko I heard all had problems) and they just re released Ayane's High kick, whihc is a guilty pleasur eof mine, admiteedly, but they added no features to ti. Just gave it a new cover and probably made it region 1(all of thei rold DVDs were region 0)

I don't recall seeing a character with that name in MY copy of the Illiad

Yeah, but that's promoted properly. Damn Deon, that sucks. Maybe you can give people the links through . Or maybe you can't. Noone'll know! I'm sorry, what do you mean by "properly promoted"? That they actually advertise Gundam stuff? -
I wish him all the luck in the world

Who could/should be in the WWE right now?
Masked Man of Mystery replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I coud see Am Drag working in a Dean Malenko style iceman gimmick, or going the blatant patriot route, even though I'd personally ahte the gimmick. The main problem he has is selling the concept behind his finisher, because you kinda have to think about for a second nbefore you realise how painful that hold should be. -
Hayabusa has always struck me as having a better ground game than Sabu does, or at the very least he can cover up with a martial arts kick or two here and there. But then, I could very well be jaded, 'cause I honestly haven't seen that much of either wrestler and I AM a huge mark for masked wrestlers in general.

Is it illegal to have music videos with clips from various things? I always thought that was in the grey range because I remember going to a Toonami site where they hosted a fan made Gundam music video -
INTERVIEW (part 4): GQ Money/Lee Handsome
Masked Man of Mystery replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
I'm sorry, could you please give those of us who have little knowledge of XPW a description of what happened at these events so I can put his comments into context? -
My friend has something on this idea for anime,. but the person who did it is as jaded as can be and doesn't seem to like anything. Everything I looked up in it was said to be God awful, and while it is true Bubblegum Crisis in incomplete(I haven't seen Crash), it isn;t as bad as I recall it making that series out to be. Mind you I'm talking about the original Bubblegukm Crisis, not 2040.

Raven's WWF Theme, Brian Kendrick and Paul London's WWF/E theme, RVD's ECW and current theme, Hayabusa, the previously mentioned Jushin Liger theme, Auston's Disturbed theme, and HHH's themes are all awesome. By the way, what does "Ikari" mean? I know "no" means of
