The nWo weren't in a match at 2002's No Way Out, and they got credited for the small boost it got. A Goldberg/Lesnar confrontation was just as much a selling point of No Way Out as Eddie's title shot, you can't dismiss either.

But having their biggest star of the 1990's (Austin) raising the hand of the future of the company (Brock) after a clean defeat of the other biggest star of the 1990's (Goldberg) is a nice way to close the biggest show of all time.

Marvel, Lions Gate Teaming For Punisher 2,

They're making a Deadpool movie, with Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) tipped as the lead. -
What ground-breaking, witty comedy.

I'm Australian and I care. The U.S President has the power to shape the course of every country on the planet, so even non-U.S citizens should take an interest. As for who I think should win, John Kerry. Mainly because the guy who I think will be the next Australian Prime Minister, Mark Latham, doesn't exactly agree with George Bush (he called him an 'arse-licker'). Latham and Kerry seem to share the same political views on most things, and I'd also like to see Kerry win if only to put an end to those god damn 'Here is an interesting thing my local conservative journal said about John Kerry because he protested a war.' threads.

What a bunch of prudes.

Maybe it's because only a few countries get Fox News?

Don't you see? Mike is better at POLITICAL SCIENCE than Tyler, so he doesn't HAVE to explain his ridiculous theories. Doesn't 'the left' know ANYTHING?

Kerry helped the North Vietnamese
tommytomlin replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Kerry running as a Vietnam Vet is beside the point. Blaming Kerry for the North Vietnamese "victory" and then saying he's responsible for the deaths of American officers is just one step too far. Can't North just criticize Kerry's politics? Kerry served his country, got three purple hearts, then he went home and exercised his freedom of speech. I don't see why, even if he is running as 'Vietnam Veteran John Kerry', that he should be the victim of such insults. -

The 'blood of American soldiers on his hands'? Oliver North is an ignorant tool. He should go back to hosting 'War Stories' and practice slinging his jacket over his right shoulder while simultaneously leaning on a WW2 fighter jet some more. -
Maybe it will be a new take on the Phenom look, with medium-length hair instead? Like, how many times did 'Taker change his look throughout the years? First he wore gray trimmings, then purple, then all black, then freaky vampire look against Mankind at Survivor Series '96 (I think), then all black with the little tear facepaint, then Ministry Undertaker with the big hood, then the less-Gothic look when he teamed with Big Show before leaving, THEN the original American Badass look with the blue vests and bandana, then he changed it to red and black, THEN he cut his hair and THEN he fiddled with it some more. It's not like 'Taker's track record indicates he's going to go back to an old look. I think a shorter haired Phenom would look kinda neat.

Wow, it's like France is a sovereign nation or something!

I can't believe I missed the Aussie question! But - guilty. Beyond any doubt whatsoever. How could he have been framed? For what purpose?

I really don't see how the card could be improved, based on current storylines, brands and wrestler availability. HBK/Rock seems like the only feasible 'dream match' they could add to the card, but I think the Triple Threat for the World Title is the best bet, and reforming the Rock and Sock Connection against Orton/Batista would be a better bet. The card seems fine to me. Wrestlemania 14 was one of the most successful ever, and it didn't exactly have any 'dream' matches. It just had a good build up of matches the fans wanted to see. I think Taker/Kane, Lesnar/Goldberg and Orton/Foley could make a successful card. Of course, if all fails between now and March, they could always just promise a Bret Hart farewell speech.

Propose class-action lawsuit over Jackson's boob

I hate threads where everyone agrees. -
We don't ban bathtubs, buckets and faucets because we need water to drink, wash, eat and bathe in. Last time I checked, 'semi-automatic' wasn't on my weekly shopping list, nor did I use it to wash soap off my body.

I don't get that last post at all. How is not making a big deal out of the murder of two insignificant Russian politicians (who were probably murdered by their own party anyway, if you read the article) 'agenda setting'? If there was actual evidence of Putin's involvement, then there would be a story. But, there's not, so why SHOULD the news media in America be focusing on this story?

Main Event dumped TNA, but it was more of a case of the contract expiring and Main Event not wanting TNA due to lousy buys. I still think a channel like Fox Sports or FOX8 should buy TNA to show for free each week instead of the ridiculous system Main Event used.

Paul London to get an actual feud?
tommytomlin replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in The WWE Folder
Aren't Stereo SSP's a little... impossible? (Not to mention dangerous) Like, how do they both fit on the top rope? And where do they land? You can't do a SSP and land on someone's head or legs, it needs to be the stomach to cushion the impact. -
Nothing like copy-pasting an extreme viewpoint from a complete nutbar to make a flawed, ignorant and generalising statement about an entire group of people, eh?

Maybe the Dems need to make 'freedom of speech' zones too.

Wow, it's like he's a politician or something.

Bush remarks in a restaurant in Roswell
tommytomlin replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Considering American Government doesn't have the Westminster System style of parliamentary question times (like Britain and Australia), the press is one of the few ways the public can gather information about a Government's decisions and motives. If I was an American, I'd be a little bit pissed off if members of the Government dismissed the press as 'the enemy'. -
It looks like Brock Lesnar's little brother who was burned in a deliberately lit funeral parlour fire.
