I loved that ending, and I'm glad it finally acknowledged a lot of stuff that had been simmering in Jack for a while. Season 7 has to be a completely new show, or else I think it will lose a lot of viewers. It can't be more CTU drama mixed with President drama mixed with Jack action, especially if they're going to recycle old plots like they did this year.

That was so average, especially compared to the episodes before it. Everything seemed so haphazard, and the best part (Sylar vs The Heroes) was also the shortest. The Hiro in the past thing was funny, but I got a 'Let's send the X-Men to Space' vibe from it. Hopefully it only lasts a few eps in Season Two. I'm slightly pissed that Nathan died, but his re-use of 'Save The Cheerleader...' was pretty sweet. I wouldn't call it disappointing, but I don't think it really lived up to the build.

Joaquin Phoenix losing to Phillip Seymour Hoffman for the Best Actor nod in 2005.

This ep just seemed like the 'let's use all the most annoying, unfunny female characters we got' night. I'm surprised Maya didn't do Isabella Versace.

You are excellent at hype. As someone who has liked pretty much every twist in LOST (except Charlie not dying a brutal death this episode), I have a feeling I will be in the 'monkey sex' category. Now I just have to avoid spoilers for a week.

God damn it. Terrific cliffhanger, and the stuff with the FBI guy searching for the 'terrorist' in Jericho will provide some fun for Hawkins next season. I guess Jake and Eric will be taking charge of the town now, considering the flashbacks r.e their relationship. MayorDad's death was just so sad, coupled with the scene with KindergartenCopWife grieving over his body. Loved the shot of the 'updated' American flag too - freaky. Edit: Turns out .there mightn't be a second season. I've previously heard Jericho was renewed, but who knows.

They're Spider-Man movies, a serial killer bad guy would be completely unacceptable. All Spider-Man bad guys have to be complex and have 'motivation' and 'redemption', because Sam Raimi is too afraid to have an actual villain who actually wants to kill people. Instead, we get guys who are really nice get turned bad by something horrible, then have a few minutes at the end of the movie where they explain themselves and make you feel sorry for them. Which is why Batman Begins will always be better than Spider-Man.

Locke is so making a surprise run-in with a steel chair during some critical moment in the finale. No way John Locke gets punked like that.

48. 3 seasons of 16. As for Michael and Walt -

We were told last week that Lost would only have two more seasons, now here's the confirmation and the TWIST~! I'm digging this. I'm one of those patient people who were happy for Lost to go for 9 Seasons of convoluted crap before getting a resolution, but 6 seasons (essentially 5 in terms of episode count though) seems like the best way to tell the story. The waiting will suck, as Lost will be on four months and off eight months, but it does mean a whole lot less filler eps like 'Claire watches birds' or 'Jack rapes a chick in Thailand to give him a tattoo'.

God, I hope it's Charlie.

I LOVE Mayor Dad. If he dies, I'm not watching this show ever again. And yes, the last ep of Jericho was probably one of the most entertaining they've produced. They're all about the slow build on this show, and it's finally paying some dividends. I loved Dicky Mayor realising he couldn't lead the town through this, and Mayor Dad shaking his hand to say 'Time's up, fuckbucket.'

The six months+ gap between the Season Three finale and January will be the darkest period of our lives.

Are you sure about this one? Wasn't the Swan implosion what allowed the Island to be seen by the outside world? Isn't that what led to the Portugese guys finding 'it' in the Arctic, and Naomi seeing it from the chopper once the clouds cleared?

This might explain. -
My theory - Mikail is going to kill Charlie. I'm calling it. It's just too good - Charlie was the one who wanted to off him, but Desmond let him go, thereby unintentionally causing Charlie's death, even though he's spent the last few weeks preventing it. Wicked.

I think The Simpsons movie will make an insane amount of cash, and way more than a Transformers or a Rush Hour 3. It's been on since what, 1989? That's a few generations of people who have grown up with The Simpsons, plus those who were adults when it first aired. It will be massive, and I'd easily put it in the top bracket.

Does anybody else think Future Hiro was talking to Ando when he uttered his hate-filled 'You.'? Does Ando.... betray Hiro?!@

I downloaded it, and it was 21 minutes, 40 seconds. Last weeks was about 26 minutes, but I think most eps normally hover around the 22 minute mark.

Yes, Kate knew this last episode because Juliette had the key to the handcuffs, and Juliet also discussed it with Ben in the final scene.
