I've read this twice and I still can't work out why you're pissed off with W&D. Isn't that what you've been calling W&D down for? You didn't want to be booked into it, and then wrote a match under protest. They just haven't had any teams to defend against.

To be honest, Bo coming back would be fine and dandy. But if he's going to come back, then come back already. And if he's not going to, then stop with the promos. I mean fine, hang around and chat. But why do promos if they don't go anywhere?

You gotta love the fact that WC will do promos with swearing bleeped out for Smarkdown, but leaves his uncensored entrance music in for Family Friendly Lockdown. 30 seconds of that, and he's racked up more fines that Spike in a month

OK, here's the deal. I know what promos and TV matches I consider my best work, but i don't know what YOURS are. Some promos I can remember were good, but I can't find them. Others I might have forgotten. So I'm going to post links to my best matches and promos for your easy reference. If anyone wants to nominate them, that's fine and dandy. If not, that's fine too. But it'd be cool if other peope can do this too so I can check out your promos and TV matches etc and see what I want to nominate. On the upside, Dangerous kicked Wildchild in the mush last show. So you never know, maybe they won't be on the same page for the title defence. I would agree that one cruiserweight vs two cruiserweights should result in a shit-kicking however, especially when one of those said cruiserweights is the longest-reigning CW champ ever, and the other one is ROOKIE UNSTOPPABLE~

Well, yes, I DID write Calvinball. I still think that in terms of pure disrespect a monster truck crushing our opponent's limo is unrivalled in its class.

I said 'Western Civilisation' because there have been far, far worse disasters in the developing world on a much more regular basis. And yes, a lot of what the WWE does offends me, which is why I watch less and less now. As for Ghost Machine, what REALLY annoys me is that he could probably be a half-decent writer. If only he'd knock the bloody awful gimmick on the head and stop writing these stupid promos. Comedy gimmicks are fine (see Skull, Crimson), as long as they don't try and hide offensiveness in there under the defence of "it's just a joke, don't take it seriously!"

I think I've got Hansen/Kobashi on the Best of Budokan that Card lent me. While i don't deny that AJPW heavies have some appeal, I'm still struggling to see past vaguely overweight guys hitting each other very hard in the face or dropping each other on their heads but occasionally going "AAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!" and no-selling it.

I have this kind of problem with homophobic racists who write 'humorous' promos about GBH, or indeed murder and belittling one of the worst natural disasters to strike Western Civilisation in the last century.

Ghost Machine sucks a bag of dicks, but if he put as much effort into his matches as he puts into tasteless promos he might actually be worth something.
