I'll either be beating off the attentions of a frantic Maddix or tearing it up with Spike, I guess.

*has made it into Breaking Kayfabe. Can now retire*

*recalls what he did on Valentine's Day* Ah yes, sat and watched the football, as I recall. It's great having a girlfriend who likes football. And wrestling. Oh and Landon, you don't NEED to get revenge - this was revenge for you making ME tap at Slay Ride!

Exactly. I used to PM match requests to Thoth and TNT all the time. This was mainly because I'm an anally-retarded perfectionist with no tolerance for the failings of others and I found that of the three CC members around at the time, only Zed had any common sense, but still, the method applies. Work out what you want to do, then ask people to do it with you. Don't wait and see what you get, then complain about it. Oh, and Johnny? You officially rock. Or you will do very soon, anyway.
-
Trouble is, she WOULD. Frequently. Ok thanks Taamo, I'll try to do it justice.

Johnny - I am responsible for this. I apologise. We were working our turn and I told WC about it. He obviously wasn't happy since he wanted to face Spike for the CW title, but I did mention your involvement and he made no mention that it would be a problem, so I told Pretzler to go ahead. However, what I asked him to do was to have Johnny come down and save WC (a little late, to subtly continue your angle) rather than get beat down. Maybe that message didn't reach him in time. I assumed that WC would know if you shouldn't be there, and I also wouldn't have had Pretzler write us beating you down without your approval. Again, I apologise.

Would someone mind telling this Brit exactly what the fuck a frat house is, and what it looks like?

I am 100% dead against this. The entire thing that made the SWF appeal to me when Dace first told me about it was that it was 'competitive' match-writing, that your progress was based on what YOU wrote in terms of wrestling matches. It makes it unique, as far as I'm aware. I'll be the first to admit that sometimes I can be overly protective of my winning streak, to the point where Toxxic the character goes apeshit on people when he loses. But this is partly because that's how the character evolved. I've made no secret of the fact that when I retire Toxxic I will still be here as a 'fun' character, one with whom I am quite happy to always get SOMETHING in, but not be bothered about if I win or lose. There's no reason for win/loss records to matter in the SWF. If you want to go through a give and take feud with someone, plan it with them. You can make it as pre-programmed as you want, all it takes is you working together. But without the nature of the SWF, you wouldn't have got Tom's rise. You wouldn't have got my rise (and yes I am arguing that as a positive!). You wouldn't get the truly remarkable occurences that we see every now and again when someone pulls out something special. There's no reason why people can't work together and go 'well I'll win that match, then you win that match to set the rubber match up at the PPV' and so forth. But the main competitive theme should not go. And if it does, then I'd have to say I'd be going with it.

CLUSTERFUCK 2005 (1/30/05) Dace Night and Toxxic drew after the 30 minute time limit expired in a Pure Wrestling Rules match. An 'unofficial' 5 minutes were added on the agreement of both wrestlers, leading to Dace winning with a Choke Sleeper. Landon Maddix won the 2005 Clusterfuck to gain a World Title shot at From The Fire Sacred defeated 'The Franchise' Mak Francis when Francis was disqualified for the use of a steel chair. (Sacred retains SWF World Title) STORM (2/4/05) 'The Critic' Scott Pretzler made Carnage submit to the Snowflake Clutch. 'The Urban Legend' Todd Cortez pinned 'Hollywood' Spike Jenkins with the Riot Act Plus through a table. (Todd Cortez retains the SWF Hardcore Gamer's Title) LOCKDOWN (2/9/05) Scott Pretzler made Kaine submit to the Snowflake Clutch. Kaine had to be stretchered out afterwards. Todd Cortez pinned Danny Dagda after a 450 double-kneedrop. (Todd Cortez retains the SWF Hardcore Gamer's Title) Spike Jenkins beat Manson 5-3 in a No Gravity match. (Spike Jenkins retains the SWF Cruiserweight Championship) Landon Maddix, 'The Perfect Storm' Sean Davis, Austin Sly, Carnage and Ebony were prevent from participating in Mall Brawl VI by security. (Landon Maddix is still USJL Champion) Wild & Dangerous defeated the Royal Order when Johnny Dangerous pinned 'The Big Demon' Dominic Korgath following the Death From Above. (Wild & Dangerous retain the SWF Tag Titles) Alan Clark and Sacred fought to a no-contest in a Lumberjack Match when the Lumberjacks (Toxxic and Mak Francis) became overly involved and Crossfire ran out of time.

This will be updated further when i have time to go through the painfully-slow search process again and again. Unless any of the bookers have a handy list of results so far they can PM to me, in which case I will update it to present then carry it on as and when.

For the record, the dream match with the Eliminators won't happen because Saturn hates Kronos, and neither man is a WWE employee to be 'jollied' into it. Besides, is Kronos even still wrestling?

*busts Pretzler open, sticks the celery in salt and then RUBS IT IN THE CUT!* Revolution Zero r00ls j00. Oh, and cool promo and stuff. At last, a competitive Cruiserweight Title match! Or something.

Main Event – Tag Team Match Landon “La Cucaracha” Maddix and “The Franchise” Mak Francis vs. Toxxic and Sean Davis ~We shall see ~SDvsRaw says Mak submits to a Sean Davis... rear chinlock? Sub-Main Event – SWF Cruiserweight Championship “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins © vs. “The Critic” Scott Pretzler Special Guest Referee: Wildchild ~Stable Pride says Spike, but Pretzler's good and Spike ain't exactly been motivated to defend this belt of late. ~SDvsRaw says Pretzler. Can't quite remember how though. ICTV #1 Contenders Match “Urban Legend” Todd Cortez vs. “The Icon” Max King ~This is a lot closer than it would have been a couple of months ago. I'm backing Cortez. ~SDvsRaw says Cortez wins with the Urban Assault, although I need to change that from his finisher and find something more Riot Act Plus-y. Singles Match Austin Sly vs. Alan Clark ~Clark generally shows, Sly generally doesn't. So Clark. What does the crowd want to see? LUMBERING GIANTS! Dominic Korgath vs. Carnage ~If Carnage shows, I'm backing him.

Dammit Z, you always ruin everything.

Yikes... can you imagine the evil of THAT child? A voice that can shatter glass at 80 paces, bulging steroid-enhanced muscles from its first birthday, it will ALWAYS walk like it's just shat its pants no matter how quickly it learns bowel control, and no panda will be safe.

Well, allegedly. Instead of the pseudo-sixpack she had for a while it seems there's a little more flesh down there now. Personally I can deal with that on a girl. And even if her breasts are implants, they're much more realistic-looking than the other Divas, so i can live with that too. And I still think she's pretty. I seem to be the only one though, as everyone else here has a thing for Molly-with-the-arse-the-size-of-Quebec. That's TOO much flesh.

For all the fact that I find Lita VERY attractive, despite her increasing chubbiness and wrinkledness, she isn't and shouldn't be the mainstay of anything. I don't mind watching her in the ring (and not just through aforementioned attractiveness), but come on... she sucks on the mic, she's not great in-ring even for a Diva and generally... no. Matt Hardy on the other hand - WHY hasn't this man been pushed? He put on some great matches in the first US Title tournament and is capable of portraying both a vicious heel and a sympathetic face. He's not the best interview in the world, but neither is Benoit. Granted Matt isn't the technical wrestler Benoit is, but this is WWE-style, and he's grown up with that. RVD - nope. Sorry. He should be pushed and it'd be good if he was, but he always is and will be an ECW product and Vince will always see Heyman when he looks at him. If he's forced to work WWE-style he won't be the same, and if he can't work that style he won't be pushed.

*opens his gift* WOW! 'How To Stretch Annoying Straight-Edgers' by Dace Night! Thank you King, it's what I AAAAAAAAALWAYS wanted!
-
Certainly compared to me. Part of the bizarreness of Toxxic's success is that I managed to rise meterotically up the card with only a very, VERY basic knowledge of wrestling.
-
Because of King, I am able to speak the langauge of rats and suck the souls from errant giraffes.
-
This pleases me. But it's totally inaccurate. You see, this guy seems to know how to contruct a technically sound match...

SWF Smarkdown Card for Monday, February 14, 2005!
Toxxic replied to Ace309's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
An OAOAST invasion would be good. As long as it's not the InVasion, which would mean all the top tier talent would be left to sit out their guaranteed paychecks and they'd be led by Leon Rodez. *ducks* -

OK. Next question: Given that we have as many belts as the WWE and a roster of about a dozen, why don't we retire some? Just get rid of one of Landon's (my vote would be keep the USJL to keep the SJL legacy alive) so there is ONE midcard belt for people to fight over, and I guess keep the Tag Titles in case we get enough people to make the division interesting again. The Cruiser Title... well, yeah. The Hardcore Gamers? Umm... right. How about slapping all the gimmicks - hardcore, ladder, death match, whatever - on the USJL and keeping the World Title as the 'straight' wrestling belt? It'd save us having either half the fed as champions, or having double champions all the time. Bring some back out of storage as and when we get an influx of new talent. Sarah's no-showing again so I AM all alone... but at least she's told me straight out this time. If I get a full match in I'll get a full match in. We'll see.

Two questions: 1) Why is Spike a face in Long Island when Spike the character comes from Hollywood? 2) How come Spike keeps getting criticised for HIS lackadaisical attitude when for 110 days HE has been the one actually bothering to get something in for Cruiserweight Title matches, and most of his challengers have been busy fellating themselves or otherwise not bothering?
