Given that there is NO WAY IN HELL I'd have ever picked Liston - since he doesn't, you know, write anymore, and he got beaten by ONE MOVE on Lockdown - I'm a little confused as to how this match is meant to be anything more than a glorified squash for Taamo and his partner. And let me just state, his partner ain't Exploding Chicken. Nevertheless, in an effort to push Toxxic's ego even higher I'll write myself to win, as ever. Good luck, everyone (especially Aec, since you're writing based on a tv show from another country...)

Looks like your tag team prowess has not been exaggerated, Landon. And it looks like you're Grappler's tag team nemesis, so congrats on that! Haven't had the time to read the rest of the show as I need to go to work, but all I can say is: Beware the Toxxic God-push!

Can anyone tell me why although the definition of the "mysterious" gimmick is "Crow" Sting, when i give Stig this gimmick it's a weak "gimimick"? And how about "Whole Damn Show"? That gimmick IS Heel RVD - but when I give it to heel RVD, it's a weak gimmick.

You're entitled to your opinion. Mine happens to be that a) Molly is not attractive but b) she looks more attractive bald than she did with hair because I thought her previous haircuts were bad. I can't really explain why, because I don't know much about haircuts. I just didn't like 'em. But some head shapes are suited to having no hair - hers is one, in my view.
-
For once in my life I agree with Stone Cold. Molly is much prettier bald that with hair, cos her hair has always been appalling. Bald, she's actually quite pretty.

Cole and Tazz impressed me at Mania simply through their calling of one section, and a fairly standard section at that - Angle's kneelift into an abdominal stretch. They put over how Angle was going after the midsection and even explained why Eddie was trying to shirt Angle's leg in order to decrease the leverage. You'd never get that sort of fine detail out of JR and King. NEVER.

Andrew Rickmen sits on the edge of his bed in his hotel room, waiting for the phone to ring. The Insane Luchador’s hand clenches a lit cigarette which he takes occasional drags from as he idly drums a rhythm on his leg, staring off into the middle distance. Suddenly the ICTV Champion’s reverie is disturbed by a knock. “Yeah?” he shouts at the door. “I’ve got a delivery for a Mr. A. Rickmen,” a muffled voice shouts through. Rickmen shoves the cigarette in his mouth and wanders over to the door, unlocks it and pokes his head out. “What is it?” he asks, staring at the delivery man in an intimidating manner. Seemingly disconcerted by the Insane Luchador’s multi-coloured eyes the man proffers a padded envelope and a clipboard. Tucking the package under one arm Rickmen scribbles a signature and thrust the clipboard back at the man, who gives a nervous smile. “Have a nice-” he begins, but Rickmen shuts the door in his face. Back in his room, Rickmen tears the package open, discarding paper and bubble wrap until he is left with the only apparent item inside; a video cassette. Shaking the envelope to see if anything else is forthcoming Rickmen notices a small piece of card flutter out, which he catches in mid-air and turns towards the light to read: PLAY ME Shrugging, the Insane Luchador pushes the cassette into the video player, turns the TV on and hits Play. There is static for a couple of seconds before a dark and shaky picture appears, which quickly resolves into someone apparently trying to fix a camcorder to something solid whilst having it turned on. Suddenly, with the camera now apparently stable, the person in the shot moves back and is revealed as Toxxic. Rickmen’s lip curls up in a snarl, but Toxxic grins and begins speaking. “Hey there. If you’re watching this then you should be Andrew Rickmen, the SWF’s own Inane Luchador, or whatever it is you call yourself.” The lopsided grin widens momentarily before suddenly disappearing. “Let’s get one thing straight, Rickmen - I’m not scared of you. Mark Stevens gave me some spiel about you being a nutjob, but to be honest I couldn’t care less. What goes on in your head is no business of mine, and if I was scared of nutters I wouldn’t have got in the ring with Jacob Helmsley twice and I certainly wouldn’t have got into the ring against Aecas at From The Fire.” Toxxic moves slightly, and it becomes clear that there is a television behind him. The straight-edger stares at the camera again and begins talking once more. “Now, Andrew, people have been telling me that your this weirdo masochist guy and that no matter what I do to you, you’re not going to tap out. Which is all very admirable, but” Toxxic gets up and moves out of shot, apparently going to pick the camera up “doesn’t mean a thing to me.” The camera lifts off its base and moves closer to Toxxic’s TV, zooming in until the screen in the same room as the challenger fills the screen that Rickmen is watching. “To point this out to you clearly, here’s a little demonstration.” Suddenly the screen springs into life with the last few moments of the Hardcore Gamer’s Championship match from From The Fire. The screen shows Toxxic sliding off Aecas’ shoulders and landing behind him, snaring him in a Dragon Sleeper on the way down before managing to lock in the Repeat To Fade and falling backwards. The shot changes, as it did on the night of the PPV, to a close-up of Aecas’ face with blood pouring from his forehead and his jaw whilst Toxxic wrenches back on the hold and screams for his opponent to give up. And Aecas doesn’t tap... And Aecas doesn’t tap... And Aecas doesn’t tap... And Aecas goes limp. *DING! DING* The screen freezes and the camera zooms out again, then shakes as Toxxic transfers it to a different grip, then spins as he turns it towards his own face, clearly holding it at arm’s length. “So you see, Rickmen, whether or not you’ll tap doesn’t bother me. In the end, all I have to do to win is make you pass out.” Toxxic tilts his head to one side, his spiky black hair, so like Rickmen’s own, silhouetted by the light from the doorway behind him. Suddenly the lop-sided grin returns. “And that suits me fine.” With his non-camera hand Toxxic holds up a video remote, one finger on the rewind button. “See this, Rickmen? This is your friend. Rewind what you’ve just watched. Watch it again and again, because I wouldn’t want you to be unprepared for what will happen when we meet on Lockdown. And Rickmen, if you think that somehow you’ll be able to make me tap instead...” The grin widens. “...prepare to be proved wrong.” The camera shakes once as Toxxic presses the power button, and then the screen goes blank.

Shush. Even if what you say is true, at least let me build you up so I can believe you are a credible threat and therefore allow myself a flush of false pride if I ever beat you. -

Toxxic replied to HVilleThugg's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
yeah, but seeing the amount of no-showers who still get booked you should manage mid-card even if you just submit an immediate roll-up finish to every match. I'm on a 6-1 winning streak, and I've only beaten one person! Besides, i'm sure experience counts. -
I like it. [bUGS BUNNY] Of course, you know that this means war...[/bUGS BUNNY]

SWF Lockdown! Card - March 17, 2004
Toxxic replied to HVilleThugg's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Alright! Now let's see if i can put my money where my mouth is and get that pesky little Rickman to tap out... Landon, you have my sympathies. -
Because that would risk Booker T winning something.
-
You just contradicted yourself twice. Orton is getting bearable in the ring. Orton is no longer slipping up on the mic. Orton is now actually getting a reaction. But Orton is nothing if not generic.

JR Speaks On Brock, WMXX, Foley, Rock, & More
Toxxic replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
A slower stlye CAN be entertaining if it's PROPER mat wrestling with decent technical knowledge, psychology etc. But a couple of chinlocks and some fake punches won't cut it. Shame VinneMac will never realise that. -
...Possible for the WWE to seem important again?
Toxxic replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in General Wrestling
As for the "divisions" problem, that could be countered. make it so that every werstler is either assigned or picked a division, then if they want to swap out, they have to start again. What I mean is, if say Cena's character is never quite making it into a position to challenge for the WWE Title, he can't just get fed up and jump to the US Title division and immediately get a title shot simply because he used to be a main event player. No, he has to start at the bottom of the US rankings and beat everyone above him in order to get the shot. It would make more sense and justify people not taking championships that might be considered "below" them... especially because if Cena then decided he wanted back in the Main Event scene he'd have to go back to the WWE Title division and start from the bottom of there, meaning he'd have been better off never leaving. Some good ideas, but basically this is so far-fetched given the current state of the WWE that Fantasy Booking is the only place for it... -
Perhaps because everyone apart from Austin and Taker are subservient to the will of Triple H? I know it's been said time and time again that no-one on the net has REAL PROOF that Mr Levesque actually has influence on the booking, or whether he just modifies his own publically-stated opinions to match those of Vince or whoever, but still. RVD has been buried when he approached HHH's level. Booker also, and even more finally since he's a) older and b) never went over in a feud with racist undertones that all logic should dictate he should win. The only reason Jericho is even still in the "nearly-theres" is that the man is the heat equivalent of a cockroach - no matter WHAT you do to him, he will ALWAYS get a reaction. Regardless of what the truth of the matter is it does seem that HHH's ego is now really damaging the company. With the people who got over before/at the same time as him such as Rock and Foley only making occasional appearances, HBK being his bosom pal and Taker over on Smackdown, not to mention doing some burying of his own, Trips' apparent refusal to look weak when booked against anyone else is really coming back to bite them in the arse. The only possible benefit from this is that it might persuade Vince to push the panic button and have Benoit win at Mania just to create a new top-level player. But to answer your question - Austin will get pushed because he's big enough to be outside of HHH's shadow. Everyone else might never escape.

Sable and Mero had a big falling out some years back, I believe.

So if Flair finally does retire probably after WM
Toxxic replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
I hate you for even suggesting that. -
You ever been to East Anglia? Exactly.
-
I love the way that one person leaving appears to completely screw over the company in the minds of everyone here. I'm saying I agree or disagree at the moment. But it sure is funny, even if it does mean the quality of the wrestling I watch is going to take a massive nosedive from the fallout of this (not just the loss of Brock's character and workrate, but also the horribly sudden pushes etc).
-
You expected a company that brought us Katie Vick and repeated mention of Eddie's "demons" to have class? Where have you been? If all else fails, just amuse yourself with the fact that the original singer for Drowning Pool, well... drowned in a pool, if memory serves. If this holds up for other bands, Fred Durst is impotent and Jonathan Davis has a big thing for mis-spelt cereal crops.
-
My count has us using 32 light tubes on each other. Nowhere near 200 of course, but more than enough to do serious damage...

Is that a challenge?
