*puts down Delight Feather* Sorry Supes.
-
A Duran return would be about 0.8 Orgasm.
-
Bruce - Ryan Dustin was Mak's ringer in mid-late 2004. It wasn't made public that he was Dustin until after he'd stopped writing as him.

I think the question that needs asking is why goldengreek is so interested in another man declaring that he's homosexual.
-
HE'S NOT A ROBOT! HE IS A HUMAN BEING! ...maybe.
-
His face reddens? Oh, Bruce? The logic gaps in the Amy promo are covered thusly: first, Amy isn't exactly Diva-shaped, but the idea I was trying to put across is that the entertainment-orientated Joe Peters (who's never encountered either Annie Onita or Andrea Montgomery) doesn't really think of women as wrestlers, just as eye candy. Second, she insisted on a wrestler contract in the end, not a Diva one. Drea... i don't see that angle copyrighted, therefore I'm having it. Ha. So there.
-
I too like this. And I'll be intriged to see what entrance music is so great it requires its own promo to introduce it...

1) Who are you, and what have you done this year? I'm generally known as Toxx/Toxxic in honour of my first character, who sped to the top of the fed amidst a flurry of victories over no-shows and a plethora of retiring World Champions to become the biggest heel for the next year. This time last year I was about to win the World Title for the third time. I then entered into a feud with Spike Jenkins, my deputy in the dominant Revolution Zero, and saw probably my favourite line-up of Rev-0 come together as I recruited Scott Pretzler and JJ Johnson (sorry Landon!). I then lost to Spike on PPV in Last Man Standing, disbanded Rev-0 and ended up in a feud with Scott Pretzler that I won at Ground Zero last year by having Toxxic cheat for the first and only time ever. I then came back as TORU Takahara to team with fellow Nottingham resident Chris Card as TKO, but then he got locked out of the boards and I ended up having to write the team more or less on my own. Now I've left TORU behind, and I'm back with Toxxic's little sister, Amy. 2) What do you think of CC and their work at this time? Zed's back in charge, and this is a good thing, but now he has back-up from Raynor and Judge which is a HUGE improvement over Thoth and TNT, who hadn't got a frickin' clue what was going on. This seems to be the slickest CC team I've seen in my time here. 3) What do you think this fed's strongest suit is? Hmm. This is the only e-fed I've ever been in so I don't have much comparison. I suppose the fact that by and large everyone gets on pretty well is good. Also, I think it has a really involving 'atmosphere', and five years of history has gotta be good. 4) What do you think this fed's weakest suit is? In the past I'd have said people waiting for the bookers to give them angles, and the bookers waiting for the writers to create their own angles. It really feels like we're in ROH where there are SOME angles, but by and large it's mostly about matches and personal feuds rather than anything bigger. However, I think this is starting to change. Also, it's unfortunate that people set things up and then leave, but that's always going to happen because RL comes first. 5) Do you have any suggestions for changes in how things are run? I think we're heading in the right direction anyway. I'd like to see more stables though. 6) Overall, do you like the direction the fed is headed in? As previously stated, yes.
-
Well, I always figured that there were no 'custom-made' tag teams in the SWF (except maybe Deja Vu? Am I imagining that?). Shame about Card getting locked out of the boards and all, I'd have liked to keep going with them. It was fun to cheat for a change
-
Incidently, this card looks good. As in, it is pleasing to the eye, quite apart from the matches on it. Nice one, Zed.
-
Uh, how did I steal what you did with Andrea, Drea? Amy doesn't wrestle anything like Drea, plus she's not exactly Diva-shape (unlike Drea). Plus Zutroy's in a wheelchair, not missing in action, right? And WC - I jobbed the belts to Landon and Max King on the pre-Clusterfuck Smarkdown. As you might have picked up, if you'd read Muzz's Clusterfuck match

MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE BOUT, SUBMISSION MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico© vs JJ Johnson SPECIAL GUEST COMMENTATOR: Wes Davenport ~Johnson. Come on laddie, you can do it! SINGLES MATCH "The Divine Wind" Akira Kaibatsu vs Todd Cortez ~The Urban Legend beats an attack of Divine Wind with the aid of some indigestion tablets. HARDCORE TITLE BOUT Bruce Blank© vs Ghost Machine 2.0 ~Ghost Machine 2.0. All you poor fools who think otherwise are... fools. MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! ~No-one wins this except Peters' ego. SINGLES MATCH Laberinto vs "The Icon" Max King ~Hmm... I'm going to go with this odd hunch I have and say Laberinto. CRUSIERWEIGHT TITLE BOUT, TRIPLE THREAT Zyon© vs Kevin Coyote vs Christian Fury ~Oh, now THIS is going to be interesting. We all know Fury can bring it, Coyote is pretty good whether or not he's actually LDP, but I say Zyon beats them both out. SINGLES MATCH Amy Stephens vs Insane Luchador ~Christ, hasn't IL been beaten up enough by members of this family? SINGLES MATCH Jimmy the Doom vs The Crimson Skull ~Jimmy will come down on Skull like a river, a river of DOOM! OPENING BOUT SINGLES MATCH Archie Griffon vs Michael Cross ~I'm saying Cross, actually.

I like that show. The thing that stood out for me was Fury's promo and the whole 'can I get this done without being an evil... motherfucker' vibe (that's if he's being played by Samuel L Jackson, you see). I'll be intrigued to see where it goes, and indeed if it ever coincides with this Clan re-emergence that may or may not be happening, maybe... Oh, and in case anyone hasn't glanced over the stats thread recently, the newly-signed Amy Stephens is (predictably) me. Writing TORU was fun, but he's essentially a tag wrestler without a tag team right now. I might bring him back someday when he's had a chance to adapt to singles wrestling more.
-
No piledrivers is Lucha rules. Cruiserweight Rules is 20 count on the outside and no throwing the opponent over the top, as Hawke stated. And I get IL? SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
-
"My assistant says hi. Not sure what that's about." I love the fact that everyone makes Peters look a bit stupid. Quite apart from that, this is a great promo. Wes is a very interesting character, because while he's big enough and strong enough to get the job done he has this whole insecurity thing counterbalancing a towering ego (of sorts). And Flesher + Davenport = goodness.
-
I think it's alarming that I'm agreeing with Crusen and Muzz on virtually all counts here. Including about Judge's mother.
-
Bruce, you can shut your face about football. It rules in a semi-rulish way. Just cos your country won't win the World Cup there's no call to be a spoil sport.
-
I persuaded JHawk to join, and am one of Supes' favourite writers. I'm liking this. I can't believe we never did Toxxic vs Masked Man though.
-
Cricket is only awesome since we kicked you arse in the Ashes. (yes, i know it was a fluke. At least I'm backing you on the 'cricket is awesome' stakes)
-
Kivell is the head referee these days, Fury.
-
Hmm, very interesting indeed.

SWF Favorite Writer(s)? Kibagami and Flesher. Kibs is the master of drama, Flesher has the perfect combination of wrestling knowledge and the 'feel' of the fed, plus he can be damn funny. However, Johnson definitely has his moments. Favorite Match(es)? Christ, that's a tough one. I haven't done as much back-reading of the fed as I'd like. From my tenure here, I'll go with Kibagami vs Zenon at Battleground '04 Favorite Promo(s)? There are loads. However for sheer, consistent class and amusement, pretty much anything from Landon cuts it. Favorite Character(s)? Umm... for all the fact that Edwin's shades of grey were great, and Kibagami's twisted, vengeful monster was intimidating, I'll go with Wes Davenport. He's an inventive character who still makes sense doing what he does (I mean in terms of current sheer badassness Johnson's character is well-realised, but I still can't swallow the whole 'former UFC Heavyweight Champion' stuff in the bio). Favorite Spot(s)? I'll confess to drawing a blank on this one. Odd, from such a spot-monkey as myself. Favorite Move Names? Pretzler's 'Tildebang'. Stupid, but damn funny. Also, the Demonstar Driver is just one of the coolest movenames ever. Favorite Stipulation(s)? Hardcore Least Favorite Stipulation(s)? Strap matches (Janus and Zed, I'm looking at you) Favorite Match(es) and Promo(s) (Written by you)? Favourite match would probably be vs Landon at From The Fire '05. Not only was it the longest match I've ever written, but I tried to get their history in there, and it was the catalyst for Toxxic's eventual change of heart. As for promos, I still think 'The Means' and 'The Ends' from the me vs Spike programme in early '05 strike me as the best. Although to be fair, most of that was me writing Spike's character... OK, with Toxxic it was the promo I did for right before I won the World Title at Ground Zero '04 Dream Matches? Umm... Edwin vs Janus, for some reason. Dream Angles? Holy shit, I've no idea, but it would probably involve Kibagami in some way. Although you know what would appeal? Reforming Revolution Zero with Johnson and Pretzler, all in semi-face mode. Christ, Toxx would be the goof of that team. Funny Moment(s)? Most of Landon's promos. But Calvinball II was a blast. Also, Zyon vs Myers. Fondest Memories? That moment of 'fuck, I just beat Flesher and Janus for the World Title'. Any Regrets? That none of my three World Title wins beat any real opposition (yes Flesher showed, but Triple Threats have never been his strongpoint). I've became most friendly with...? Card, Pretz until his 'net connection got nixed, and more recently J3. Wrestling Favorite Federation? ROH Favorite Worker? Probably Alex Shelley Least Favorite Worker? I take it people like Cheex don't count? No? Well then, Hogan. Favorite Match(es)? No idea Favorite Stipulation? Anything gimmicky and spotty is bound to attract my attention. Dream Matches? Benoit vs Shelley. Or Danielson. If I worked for a company it'd be... ROH, as long as the fans didn't crap on me. My style of wrestling would be... SPOT-TASTIC! Face or heel? Heel. Do you even have to ask? Dream Matches (that includes you)? Ha ha haaa... something that doesn't involve me getting hurt much. Personal Name? Mike Age? 24 as of last Thursday Single? In no way. Just celebrated my six-year anniversary. Biggest Turn On? Varies Biggest Turn Off? Smoking Religious? Definitely not. Favorite book(s)? 'A Song of Ice and Fire' (OK, it's a series) by George RR Martin. Also, the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, Lord of the Rings... Favorite movie(s)? Tank Girl, Underworld, Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean... Favorite actor/actress? Anthony Hopkins and Johnny Depp Favorite bands? Christ... Strung Out, Bad Religion, the Wildhearts, Therapy?, NIN, the list could go on... Favorite song(s)? Varies wildly. Most Recent Accomplishment? Setting up my own clubnight. Most Recent Failure? Too many to think about My biggest flaw... Well, if you look very hard with a microscope you might find my sense of tact. If it jumps up and down and waves. On the plus side, if I don't like you, you'll know about it. No talking about you behind your back here. I like my... life. No, seriously, it's not bad. Future Goal(s)? To set up another clubnight. Do you write outside the SWF (if so, what do you write)? Not much anymore. Heroes? Eddie Izzard. Funniest man this side of Mars. I would love to meet... Eddie Izzard. Also Keira Knightley and Angelina Jolie, but for different reasons. Hardest moment of my life... Breaking up with my girlfriend. Greatest moment of my life... Getting back with her. Would you want to be famous? Fuck yeah. And then you can all claim to have known me and tell stories about how I wrote fake wrestling matches, and I'll pay you money to be quiet (this is the plan I'm working on for when Flesher becomes president or a high-powered lawyer, btw) Favorite swear word? Bollocks Favorite food? If you can fry it, I'll eat it. What would you want God to say if you want to Heaven? Go ahead and punch me, I deserve it. What would you want the Devil to say if you were in Hell? Open a window if you're too hot.

To be fair, aforesaid Japanese rudos have done quite a bit of Landon-pummelling in the four or five months since they've joined. Landon always seems to be coming up against me for some reason...
-
I call gimmick infringement and claim royalties.

I''m still building up the roster, but I always used to put the computer's results when I played on my old Smackdown game. Since it's a WWE game it's skewed to heavyweights (although I do my best to cancel that out with the stats), so it's entirely possible that ELM would lose every match...
