The WWF was going to give him a World title anyway, so why not do it now instead of waiting. Kennedy is SmackDowns Edge. -

Okay then. Bob's joke was awfully tasteless and whatnot, however, Hawk's actually makes sense if you really think about it. I prove my idiocy in every post I make? Damn, that sucks. -
Thank you. Was anyone else hoping to see McMahon get the shit caned out of him by the Sandman?

1. That's your biggest problem. 2. You know it. 3. There's non-painful cancer? 4. Please, god, let it be so. People that are easily BUTT hurt after a internet message board argument should seriously reevaluate their current situation in life. -
I remember that. They show that spot in every "don't try this at home" video the WWE pumps out. The refs on the outside even did the "X" for him.

How is recapping what Arn Anderson said make me a naive, blind mark? They covered their bases and had their excuses ready to fully explain why Benoit wasn't ever recognized as a champ instead of a champ who got stripped of his belt. I guess all the Benoit-was-never-WCW-champ talk makes your diaper dirty. Quit being a shithead to people in the thread, Mr. wannabe elite pro wrestling backstage authority. Of course you were recapping My mistake. What? -

Benoit won the belt and then was stripped of it. So it counts I believe. Arn Anderson said the next night on Nitro that he made a bad call, and it wouldn't be fair to Benoit to just give the title back to Sid because there was a chance Benoit could have still beat him, so the title change was being nullified and the title vacated. Wow, quit being so naive and such a blind mark. Obviously Arn Anderson is going to say that, because the man who had just won the companies Heavyweight championship thanked them by saying "Fuck you, I'm gone." I agree with Bob, a 16 man, one night tournament would be outrageous to say the least. Logically, they should have a certain number of matches per show, leading up to the semi-finals and finals being at a PPV. -
Oh boy, here we go. Like I said in my post, RVD will obviously lose the feud with McMahon because as we know it he did not resign his contract with the WWE. You just have a different opinion and outlook on the wrestling definition of being buried. People were bitching last night about how Van Dam was "buried" by Umaga. I saw things very differently then that. Van Dam pulled out the most competitive match with Umaga since Cena. Just because Van Dam is likely leaving the company doesn't mean Vince is going to totally distroy the man's credibility nor stock. Because in all reality, Van Dam will return to the WWE sometime in the future. The revenge I was speaking of was in a kayfabe sense, meaning Van Dam is going to kick Vince's ass, and show that he has his number in more than one way, and that it'll take all of Vince's stooges to deliver the victory. Why is Vince vs. RVD going to be offensive on many levels? I'm not understanding that part. I think you're totally wrong, and out of the loop if you believe Shane vs. Van Dam would be a better feud. Workrate wise, yes, it would be. But, not everything has to always be about workrate. Shane would do his usually schtick and outwrestle RVD, just like he outwrestled an Olympic Gold Medalist and countless others over the years. And regarding the New Breed/Punk angle, for fucks sake, give it some time already. The WWE is obviously changing its ways, just look at how much quality wrestling they've showcased lately, and allowed an outsider (Punk) to become a staple in a prime angle. Vince is a good business man, and he knows he's got a golden opportunity with Punk. Tonight was a good advancement of the angle. Burke allowing his fellow stable mates to be embarassed and defeated and not inserting himself in any way, shape, or form. Tonights events planted the seeds that will surely result in Punk becoming the leader of the New Breed and Burke being kicked to the curb. It'll all work out in the end.

A tournament would be the best option for this situation. It allows a greater volume of talent (obviously) to get some spotlight, and makes the title seem actually important. -

Comparing Hawks statement to Bob's is ridiculous. At least what Hawk said is logical, and a very true statement. My warn was rescinded. A shame Taker can't work Judgement Day- they should still find a way for him to lose it in the ring. Because you whined and cried about it so much. -
You serious? ECW tonight was booked extremely well. They continued and developed even more in the on-going feud with the New Breed / Burke / Punk, the main event was enjoyable watching three of the four competitors whose bodies are borken trying to do the gimmick that made them famous and pulling out a few good spots and showing they still have something left in their tanks. Although it was cool to see Sabu take the bumps he did, but he barely avoided serious injury with his triple jump springboard moonsault. Although they'll more than likely do a bait and switch next week, I'm actually wanting to see RVD vs. Vince McMahon. Granted, RVD will surely be beaten in some fashion or manner, he'll exact some sort of revenge on McMahon, and I'll enjoy that immensely.

KOAB - That's what I'm talking about.

Stealing from DVDVR again.

I was just thinking about this. Will Orton/Edge/Michaels get their revenge next week against Khali, or will everything just be forgotten?
-
I know a few of them have been around, like Steiner's and Styles/Daniels/Homicide, but its gotten ridiculous.
-
So it was a title match? Or, no? I wonder if they'll talk about Vince tossing Shane to Cena next week? Please don't post like that, its awfully annoying. I don't see what the big deal is about RVD losing to Umaga tonight. Umaga's been built up as a unstoppable and unbeatable wrestler (although he's lost some of that fire recently) and Van Dam held his own for over ten minutes and showed signs of actually having Umaga's number. I think this might be Vince's way of trying to reasure RVD to re-sign.

I think TNA has gone overboard with the nick names. "the Future" Chris Sabin "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal "the Phenomenal" AJ Styles "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels "Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm "Pride of Tennessee" Jacqueline Moore "Wildcat" Chris Harris "War Machine" Rhino "Notorious 187" Homicide "Instant Classic" Christian Cage "King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner "Samoan Suplex Machine" Samoa Joe Am I missing any?
-
Isn't indirectly calling him a moron shreding his personality?
-
I think the WWF is trying to avoid their past errors on hot shotting the titles so frequently.
-
How exactly didn't RVD look credible against Umaga? He's had the best back and forth match with Umaga since Cena.
