College Hoops: NCAA Tournament Rounds 1 and 2
theintensifier replied to SilverPhoenix's topic in Sports
Edit: Double post. I picked Gonzaga, but it's going over UNC in the end, so, I'm rooting for either team to make it to the end. -

What kind of chance do you all think Gonzaga, or UNC has of making it to the championship game ? -

All this hate for the Zags is sad, considering I have them winning the whole tournament :/ So....yeah....maybe it was a bad call ? I've already missed four; Oklahoma, Seton Hall, Nevada, Marquette. Damn, it sucks not being able to keep up on sports anymore, fucking military. -
Yeah, he does nothing that makes me even remotely interested. I lied. There's one thing. When he gets his ass kicked by Necro Butcher.

Chris Hero is vastly overrated. He looks sloppy in the ring, is boring, looks like shit, etc.

Fuck that. Moore has no morals, or pride left in his body. Fuck the WWE man, the indies, TNA, and Japan is where it's at. Sure, money isn't going to be as much, but a man has got to have some pride, and not just bend over and grab his ankles and take what McMahon dishes out. Same goes for Hardy.

The fighting and bickering on this board is usually funny, but lately, it's gotten ridiculous. People just can't get along I guess.

Hell yeah, here we go, a big discussion has started. I thought both of the sex scenes were good, not only for viewing pleasure, but for the story as well. It's already been pointed out about the first one, so I won't go into detail about it. But the second sex scene fits almost perfectly into place. It's the rough, and forceful but wanted make-up sex that leads imediatley to an akward silence and regret. They're both consumed with so much raw emotion, and confused by each other, they don't know what else to do when they find themselves in each other's arms. It's only human nature.

Holy shit, I knew Vince loved Cena, but come on now.

That's rather odd. I looked ten pages back, and did a forum search on it, and had zero results. Care to re-post, or link me to your review, I am interested in your review.

Very insightful, in-depth review there, thanks. Seriously, why'd you think that ? Anything in particular that you didn't like ?

You see, that's the problem. You like the idea, and it's very logical. No wrestling promotion, besides maybe RoH sometimes makes sense, and does what it's general fan public likes and enjoys. If I ever ran a promotion the size of TNA, or WWE, I'd do things that my fans like or request. It makes sense. You make the fans happy, they pay money to see your product. Rocket sceince. I disagree with this. It'd bee pointless to just drop the Christian / Brown program, it just started. I'd have Brown inserted into the match, instead of the broken down Scott Steiner. Steiner should be used only as a run-in / beat down person. His wrestling days are behind him. I'm sure he can still go, but it's nothing I want to see. I do like the idea of AMW vs. Dudley Boyz though.

The WWE rookies think they are being hazed ? They have no idea what hazing is, join the Marine Corps and you'll find out.

Seven is not a horror film. And, I'm not even going to waste my time with this "movie". Looks lame, and predictible, much like most moives these days.
-
And that's exactly the problem with TNA, the excitement isn't there, and it should be. They aren't using him very well as Champion. The focus of the company is Jarrett and Steiner fighting Steve "I'm no longer Sting, but I really still am" Borden. It's lame. *EDIT* They could be using Christian as a heel, or a face. He's muliti-talented, can wrestle pretty effectively, can talk very well, and is over right now. But, TNA drops the ball on situations like this, they have since they opened their doors way back in the summer of 2002. They wan't to be the best, and have the ability to be the best, but they cut themselves at the knees every single time.
-
I agree with all of the valid, and intelligent points made so far. TNA is dropping the ball with Christian as Heavyweight Champion, the focus of a promotion "should" be around it's most over susperstar a.k.a the World Heavyweight Champion. But, TNA is clearly not doing that right now.

Where do people come up with this crap ? Seriously, this is ridiculous. Austin / McMahon is easily number one, or very, very close to it.
-
Feels like I'm reading something from an eight year old. I'm glad they got the X-title off of Joe. He needs to be pushed to the heavyweight division now.
-
Their close to civil war, and we're close to dishing out billions of dollars to people who hate and fear the United States. Ridiculous.
-
The worst movie I have ever seen in my life, bar none. I regret spending the $16 for me and my friend to get in. I guess they think in the future that glass is excellent body armor or something, fucking lame. My friends and I made fun of the movie the entire time, I was already bored after the opening scene. Ridiculous.
-
Eh. I would have waited a little longer on this product. I would have included the upcoming three way Ultimate X match, which Joe is going to lose, I can almost gurantee it.
-
I'm wondering about the 'Taker | Angle match. Is it as good as some people have pegged it to be ? PWT gave it 4 1/2 *, is that an accurate rating ?

I saw this on a comic book forum. They weren't very smart. So, I thought I'd bring it to TSM instead, where the IQ level is far beyond 120ish. Anyway, I'll start this thread off with a fight I have always wanted to see: Daredevil vs. Batman: Everyone knows that Daredevil is blind. But, for his lack of sight, his other senses pick up the slack. They are super-human, far beyond normal capacities. He has a radar sense. His hearing is so fine tuned, he can hear a pin drop from a block away and even your heart beating (helps him know who's who), he can smell things farther away then most animals, and his sense of touch is beyond super-human. He's an expert martial artist, and his acrobatic skills are matched by none. The man without fear. He is a normal human being who does not possess any superhuman abilities. He has elevated himself to near-superhuman status through years of rigorous training - eventually, he became an exceptional escape artist, master of hand-to-hand combat/martial arts, acrobatics, bodybuilding, science, technology, disguises, criminology and detective skills. Batman is a brilliant, virtually peerless, detective, criminal scientist, tactician, and commander; he is widely regarded as one of the keenest analytical minds on the planet and possesses an eidetic memory. Given his lack of superpowers, he often uses cunning and planning to outwit his foes, rather than "out-fighting" them. Superman considers Batman "the most dangerous man on Earth." Who would take the fight ?

Yeah. Not with men, but with women. Leena hasn't responded to my PM

Friends with benefits, that's a great thing. Especially being in the military.
