I change mine too: WrestleMania X-7, but stay with WrestleMania XX. And matches to: Rock / Hogan WM X-8, but still keep the HIAC. -

Rock / Hogan would be have been great to been at. -
Team Stampede: Bret Hart, Dynamite Kid, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Brian Pillman Team Texas Rattlesnakes: Steve Austin, Terry Funk, Eddie Guerrero, Ted DiBiase, Kerry Von Erich Team Horsemen: Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Dean Malenko Team WWF: Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Undertaker, Mick Foley, Roddy Piper Team Memphis: Jerry Lawler, Randy Savage, Jeff Jarrett, Robert Gibson, Ricky Morton Team Kliq: Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman Team Minnesota: Curt Hennig, Brock Lesnar, Rick Rude, Road Warrior Hawk, Road Warrior Animal Team Michigan: Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Sabu, Rob Van Dam, Rhyno Team Indy: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, American Dragon, CM Punk *I saw this topic, and liked it. I thought I'd bring it to this forum. I changed a few of the teams to my liking. And, added some teams.* Vote on the team you think is the best! This is based off the wrestlers in their prime. EDIT: Damn, I forgot to make this a poll. Oh well.

Stampede is winning by a land slide right now. The only other team that was nominated for first was Team Texas, which was a suprise, considering that Dynamite Kido loves his Tom Billington. Would there be any teams you would add / minus -or- members to be added / subtracted? What team is the worst? IMO, it's definatley Team Michigan.
-
Workrate: By far, Team Stampede. Followed closely by Team Indy, and then Team Horsemen. Entertainment: Team Indy and Team Stampede are tied on this for me. Followed by Team WWF. Interview / Promo: Team WWF all the way. The Kliq / Horsemen / Rattlesnakes / Memphis are tied for 2nd. Draw: Team WWF, hands down. If, in Canada, Team Stampede then. Nostalgia: Team WWF. They've got Hogan. Can't really say who's behind them, in my interests, it would be Team Horsemen, then Team Rattlesnakes. Look: Team Stampede. These guys look really tough, and are intimidating. Team Indy are right behind them. Overall: I have to go with Team Stampede, they have most of my favorite wrestlers. Team WWF is 2nd, and Team Indy is 3rd. Horsemen make it at 4th.

I didn't say I would be afraid of AJ, I'm just not going to say I would whoop his ass in a fight, since he's older, been in more fights probably, and faster. If I got my hands on him, I could toss him around, but I doubt I'd win the fight.
-
Spike Dudley, I can curl him. Other than that, I doubt I could take very many wrestlers. I mean, I can curl over 200 pounds, and like 110 with one arm, but most wrestlers are faster, and stronger overall than most people. Someone said Randy Orton. Fuck that shit. He'd stomp a mudhole in someone, same goes for Christopher Daniels / Nowinski and AJ Styles. I doubt any of us could take Flair in a fight, he is the dirtiest player in the game.

The Torch posts Best Ever Mania card...
theintensifier replied to CheesalaIsGood's topic in The WWE Folder
Jesus, Keller had like 20 + matches on that list, and most of them f'n suck. WrestleMania XX Dream Card: (Wouldn't know where to put the matches on the card. Most matches would be well over 20 minutes, my WM XX would be like 10-12 hours long!) "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (WrestleMania 13 or 17) vs. Hulk Hogan (1980's) Undoubtly, the greatest dream match. Bret "the Hitman" Hart (WrestleMania X) vs. Kurt Angle (Royal Rumble '03) Will always be a dream match to me. Chris Benoit (Super J Cup 1994) vs. Dynamite Kid (before back injury, say 1982) Wow. My favorite wrestler facing his favorite wrestler. Can't get much better than that. Edge & Christian (WrestleMania X7) vs. Hardy Boys (No Mercy '99) vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu (When they were facing the Eliminators in the ladder matches in ECW) vs. Dudley Boys (Royal Rumble 2000): TLC This would be amazing to a fan like myself, I love highspots, and this match would allow them to show off what they are best at. Triple H (2000) vs. Diamond Dallas Page (1998) They are both good are brawling, and I always wanted to see this match. Chris Jericho (WrestleMania XIX) vs. Shawn Michaels (Badd Blood '97) In a LADDER~ match, of course. I think it would rule. Eddy Guerrero (ECW or Halloween Havoc '97) vs. Dean Malenko (ECW) Would be a great mat classic. Cactus Jack (IWA '95) vs. Terry Funk (IWA '95): I QUIT, NO DQ, FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE BARBWIRED DEATH MATCH~ Sweet. Rey Mysterio Jr. (Halloween Havoc '97) vs. Great Sasuke (1994 Super J Cup) vs. Ultimo Dragon (J Crown 1996) vs. TAKA Michinoku (IYH: Canadian Stampede): Elimination Style Some top Junior action. Owen Hart (SummerSlam '94) & Davey Boy Smith (SummerSlam '92) vs. William Regal (When he's pissed) & Lance Storm (WCW) I would love to see this match. Ric Flair ('89) vs. The Rock (2000) Would be a great mis-match, would really test Flair. Would be entertaining though. Brock Lesnar (End of 2002) vs. Vader (Young) It would be interesting to see what Brock would do, or vice versa when one of them got stiffed a little too hard. Steiner Brothers (1991) vs. Brain Busters (WWF) I would enjoy this match, if I could get the Steiner's to sell Arn's and Tully's offense. Jake "the Snake" Roberts (Before he was too doped up, but still could deliver an awesome promo) vs. Raven (First, or second ECW run) Wouldn't be amazing in the ring, but would be very entertaining on the mic. Randy Savage (WM III) vs. Ricky Steamboat (WM III) A rematch of the greatest WWF match in the 80's. The Giant (1995) vs. Andre the Giant (Young) Would be VERY interesting to see. John Bradshaw Layfield (present) & Orlando Jordan (present) vs. Ted Diabiase (late 80's) & Virgil (same as Ted) I would like this, for some reason. Curt Hennig (Early 90's WWF) vs. Rick Rude (Early 90's WCW) Would be great in the ring, and on the mic. Tribute to two legends. Brian Pillman (WCW 1992) vs. Paul London (RoH 2003) Cool lightweight action. -
Say you were starting your wrestling collection..

Lots, and lots of personal comps. And: A exact copy of Super Dragon's mask. -
Sweet. 5 star match!

Arnold has to be in the fourth one, because it would be Terminator without him. It'd be like Die Hard without Willis or Lethal Weapon without Gibson / Glover, hope you are getting the point. If he is going to be in the movie, it should be in a limited capacity, not be the star of the movie. Fuck that, wasn't Jesse Ventura the governor of Minnesota when he was the ref at SummerSlam 99? Arnold should be able to be in the movie all the way through, it wouldn't be right if he wasn't. And if John Conner was found of the Arnold model terminator, he should be like his body guard in the fourth installment and get destroyed / or be the one who kills John at the end. OK, enough of that. If Arnold isn't going to be in it, who should replace him? The Rock, Triple H (lol), Brock Lesnar (could be cool, probably not though), can't really think of anyone else who is big enough for the role.

Thanks for the info dude. I was wondering what happend to most of the superstars of the WWE. When I first started reading this diary, I thought it was going to be one of those kind where you get all of the popular indy stars that would never be in the WWE in the first place, but now I really realize why you did it, you had no choice! But anyway, great diary. Keep going dude. Oh, one last thing, do you have TEW?

If you were going to start an indy promotion...
theintensifier replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I would try to have a lot of money before I got started, like say an easy $10-20 million. I would get involved with a few big sponsers like a TV station, video game system, tape distributer like Highspots (I can get other stuff from them as well, cheaper maybe?), and others. Highspots Deal: Buy a few rings from Highspots for a discount price, I would let Highspots have their own merchandise tables at my shows, so I could get deals on rings and other stuff like belts. Highspots would also sell my wrestling companies merchandise. Rings I would get: Normal 16' wrestling ring, 18' wrestling ring for a show headlined with a huge battle royal or if I had cage / War Games type matches. I might also be interested in getting a 6 sided ring. I would get all custom ring canvases, ring aprons, steel steps, guardrails, turnbuckle pads, and everything else in the ring. They would make all of my companies t-shirts and apparel. They would also make the title belts, which would include: Heavyweight Championship, Lightweight Championship, and Tag Team Championships. I might throw in a technical wrestling title, dunno for sure. Video Game Company / System Deal: Video Game Companies are really good with graphics, they would make my website with sweet graphics and designs. And when my compnay was big enough, make a video game. TV Station: Not sure which one I would want to go with right now, maybe FX? OK, on to where I would promote. I might stay in Michigan, where I live. Don't know for sure though. I know I could probably get some good crowds around Grand Rapids / Detroit. My company would be like RoH, in terms of wrestling quality, IWA:MS in terms of anything goes / in your face action, NWA Wildside in terms of entertainment and character type feuds, and last but not least, PWG in terms of high flying and comedy. It wouldn't be all wrestling all the time, but the majority of it would be, but I would spice it up with "sports entertainment" and comedy. My company would have it all. Talent: I would bring in a little bit of everything; strong style, technical, high flying, brawling, SE types, and everything in between. Samoa Joe Bryan Danielson Christopher Daniels Low Ki AJ Styles Homicide CM Punk Chris Hero Super Dragon B-Boy Arik Cannon Jamie Knoble Roderick Strong Jack Evans Alex Shelley Austin Aries Jason Cross Johnny Kashmere Trent Acid Jay Briscoe Marc Briscoe Colt Cabana Ace Steel Dan Maff BJ Whitmer Joey Matthews Frankie Kazarian Teddy Hart Amazing Red Jerry Lynn Steve Corino Messiah Justice Pain Raven Chris Sabin Spanky Those are just to name a few of the top of my head. I would run a few shows to see how much of an interest there is in my product, and from there, determine if I should go with a TV show right off the bat. I probably would, so I wouldn't use all the best gimmicks / angles / matches before I get on TV. Rules of my promotion: *Ways to win a match: pinfall, submission, DQ or forefit. There will be no countouts.* *Every match will have a winner and a loser. If a match goes to a time limit draw, then the ref, announcers, and myself will determine the winner. (I will not get involved into storylines, neither will the refs or announcers, since we are not trained wrestlers.)* *Time Limits are as following: Normal 1 vs. 1: 30 minutes 1 vs. 1 title matches: 60 minutes Normal 2 vs. 2: 30 minutes 2 vs. 2 title matches: 60 minutes 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4: 60 minutes 2/3 falls: each fall has a 30 minute time limit Iron-Man matches: Instead of 60, I'm going with 90 minutes.* *Titles +must+ be defended at least once in a month.* *Assaulting refs, announcers, or myself will result in a punishment. 1) If you hold a title, you must defend it at every show for an entire month. 2) If you hold no title, then you just get the crap kicked out of you in a handicap match, since untrained wrestlers are basically handicapped to trained wrestlers.* *Outside interference will also be met with punishment. You won't know when it is going to happen, but a "commitee" of wrestlers will interfere in your match and you will not be awarded with the DQ victory, as the ref will know when it is going to happen and will allow it!* *You are not going to see Death Matches on every show, they will be reserved for special occasions.* *If a title is stripped / vacated a tournament will be held to determine the next champion. A title will NEVER be awarded to a wrestler (HHH, I'm pointing at you) a title must be earned. Also, if a champion decides to lay down for someone else (Nash & Hogan) not only will you be stripped of the title, you will be fined and suspended you will get the crap beaten out of you by the rest of the roster, as you have spit in their face and devauled the title.* I would call this promotion New Pro Wrestling Entertainment. Don't really know a better name than that. -
Good diary dude, really enjoying this. What are some stats for other companies? And who's all on the roster as of right now?
-
Fight Club Remember the Titans T2 Bourne Identity Spider-Man 2
-
Eh, don't worry about it, that's what I get for not thinking before typing.
-
^ A way I could have never said.
-
Rando, the match could go 2 ways. Whoever wins the most falls, or it could be elimination style which is what I would do (the No Contest first fall).
-
I was hoping someone would ask! I would have the first fall end with a No Contest because Tomko and Edge both interfere. Thus leading to no eliminations in the first fall.

Damn, I knew he was a harsh grader in real life, just didn't know it was that bad in the game. It looks like you were using an older file update, that could be a cause of the horrible ratings due to stats being incorrect.
-
Horrible ratings for your matches, who's the reviewer?
-
I've been hearing great things about TEW, as I'm getting sick of EWR 4.2. So, is it worth the $35 they are asking for?
-
Yeah, I did, but I couldn't really get that good of a feeling from it. Just wanted to get an opinion from someone who owns it. Thanks though!

Sabu looks really old, and demented looking.
