It would be a tough argument to even call Ringo the third most successful.
-
But I think that they do by not showing everyone the same amount.
-
I didn't think that they showed enough people getting through last night. At the end they just did a quick fly-by of like 10 people. I'd rather at least see a little of the "good" singers.

Your Time is Gonna Come has always been one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. I do think that it is the organ that really sets it off.
-
I got the new "combo" of EPs (I think that I've dl'd most of the songs off of the EPs though). It is a little unsatisfying and feels kind of oddly put together. It's almost as though someone was just randomly pulling songs off of the releases and sticking them on.

Actually, one of my good friends moved to San Diego awhile ago (from the seasons of the Northeast) and noted just that. She said that she really has no desire to listen to a lot of her introspective/moody music out there as it is almost always "summer". She also loses track of what month/year it is because of the no seasons thing.

Zeppelin III is my favorite Zeppelin, but I'm not sure that I think it's their best (if that makes sense). III always reminds me of good times (sitting around campfires, clapping along to Bron-Y-Aur Stomp), and I think that gives it a very positive spin. The self title is also a very strong album IMO that has not been mentioned.

Well, some bands I like to listen to at all times, but there are definitely bands/songs that I enjoy during certain seasons. Jimmy Buffet is summertime music and this is the only time that I can stand him. Also, Ben Harper has always been solely summer music for me. I find that I enjoy most of Ryan Adams' stuff better in the wintertime for some reason.

Okay, that's fair.

Yeah, I'd agree on that one. I'd also say that Best Imitation is one of his lyrically finest pieces. I think that it might be his best use of humor without overdoing it as a gimick in a song. Songs for Silverman looking back is a good album, but like others I couldn't help but be disappointed in it. I think that it was the overly high expectations that I have for all of his stuff that did it in for me.

I don't think she was crying over a plan backfiring. I think she was crying because she has feelings for Jim and realized that Jim and Karen were getting closer. It doesn't seem to me that planning against anyone other than jokes on Dwight is in Pam's character. (not the Pam that I heart at least!)
-
I don't think Pam is trying to break up their relationship, but she clearly has feelings for Jim.

All Things Must Pass is my favorite solo album by any of the four. Of course, having Derek and the Dominos as your backing band probably didn't hurt anything for George.
-
I was thinking that same thing. I think what they hope for is on first down the RB breaks off a 20 yarder, then you take your time out and go. After that if it doesn't happen, take a knee.

I have a dvd of him playing with an Austrailian (I think Sydney) Orchestra and it is excellent, so I would expect the same with the Pops.
-
yes, Sully was an AIC fan so he names his band after one of their worst songs. Godsmack is horrible, btw. I agree that Godsmack is a horrible band, but have to disagree about the song being one of AiC's worst.

Orange cats are by far the best.

Yeah, the Boyz in the Hood cover is a lot of fun. I'm not sure where Philosophy fits in, but it is excellent.

It depends. Sometimes it is used correctly, sometimes not and it does drag him down a little and seems like a cop-out. I do like the Bitches ain't Shit cover, it just works for me. (I'm a sucker for those kinds of things though, see: Hack, Dynamite) What's everyone's favorite style of Ben song? You really have the slower motivational/touching/love songs, the faster/upbeat kind of rock songs or the almost comedy song/joke. I like both of the first two and flip between them depending on my mood.
-
I thought it was an okay episode, but they shot between comedy and serious things with Carla a little to abruptly for my liking. I know that the show mixes those two things, but usually there is a smoother transition, or they go from one to the other. Last night it jumped back and forth too much to really get either right.

Was Godsmack named after the Alice in Chains song? They're pretty terrible, but still.

I think it might be that I love the first 3 tracks on UBoRM and Army so much that it clouds my overall view of the album. Which do you feel is superior, W&EA or Rockin' the Suburbs? The Five vs. solo stuff.
-
I think that Reinhold is a little better than Whatever & Ever Amen, but it's like a 1 and 1a difference. Although, if I was going to recommend Ben Folds to someone who has never listened, I'd have them pick up W&E Amen first.

I think that was pretty much recurring with the Ted character throughout. I believe they've even had him attempt it a few times.
