Eh, the Eagles are fine at WR. They need some help at Linebacker and some big hosses on the D line. Plus replacements for Lewis and B-Dawk (his future replacement, someone to step in there in a year or two) at Safety.

My only problem with it is that it seems the Michael acts insane stuff is becoming more and more the focus instead of just another part of the office.

I didn't catch that, but Dwight was delightfully creepy on that show. It is really amazing to realize it's the same actor.

Go. They are playing great right now. I just saw them in Philly and it was the best I've heard them sound (not my favorite show of theirs I've been to, but overall sound and playing it was the best). They tore through Cortez the Killer for about 20 minutes in the encore. They are playing a lot of the new album at shows (which is appropriate I guess) so you might want to give it a few spins before going.

Yeah, his hair threw me off for a bit too. I liked the seeing themselves in their patients bit, although I didn't catch on until the Janitor one. On a side note, JD's knocked up woman has become the first "that guy" girl. She seems to pop up everywhere now.

The Michael "Look Who's Talking" was pretty bad to me except for the end where he said "I want some milk. You know where that comes from. (pause) Breasts." Him throwing the breasts on at the end was pretty funny. I also liked Andy's version of Rainbow Connection as his love song for Pam. And that he called her "Pam a lam a ding dong". Nice throwback to Michael and showing their simalarities.

I thought last nights episode was okay, not great. I really liked some of it, but other parts just didn't quite feel right. It seems like they jumped the Jim and Karen thing without giving much background on it, but it seems like it is also a doomed relationship as Jim is hiding it from Pam and the rest of the office. I liked Jim setting up Andy, Creed taunting the baby and the Apollo Creed line. Wasn't as into Prison Mike as other's here seemed to be. It just didn't quite come across right to me.

I think that everyone assumed you had made most all the errors that had been brought up. The question was, did you fix them?

They also put way too many shows of just regular not good players on tv. If I'm ever going to watch poker on tv (which I don't have much desire to do) I want to see good players and see what they do. Not other amateurs making the same mistakes I make. I like the one on the GSN (I think) where it's the high stakes game funded by their own money. That one interests me a lot more than watching a bunch of random people throw money into a pot and hope to get lucky.

I could see Eden dying or the Haitian as a possibility, but I do think that one of the main characters will go down. Is the show coming back in January, or are they pulling a lost on us and making us wait a few months?

The key will be if the album has any songs that catch on with the younger listeners. It's going to sell a million copies to delusional old GnR fans (myself included) who miss the band and want more. If it has some good stuff that might bump up to 2 million from word of mouth among old heads. To really be a success and recoup the money put into it, it needs to appeal to the "nu metal" crowd and the kids that like Nickleback and that swill. Might happen, might not. Music sales are really hard to predict now.

I don't really think that there is anything to "get" with Weezer. You either like catchy pop-rock songs or not.

Agreed. I like the idea of him figuring out the powers by looking at the brain (similar to how he figures out an fixes watches).

I think that they said it was actually a hero who dies. But, I, like niskie, don't follow what the ads say too closely. When they say a hero dies, it could mean a newly discovered hero or some minor character we don't even think of (like the little kid in India).

I thought so to, and probably would have gone that way if I were the writers. Not only the protection, but to further the Jessica revenge aspect.

Well, to be fair niskie about every other post we make relates to the Cheerleader. I don't think it was their intentions to do so, but it was kind of an end result.

I like that one too. I think I can get away with it cause I'm a girl. I don't really see a guy being too comfortable with it, it's kind of........gay for a Christmas song. Well, it was WHAM!, did you expect something overly masculine? But, I'd argue that there can be no gay Christmas song, as the spirit of the holiday does not allow for the classification. There can be shitty Christmas songs, but not gay ones.

If this is the thread for it, I'm sure that there will be arguments as to if McGwire belongs in. IMO he does and it shouldn't even be close.

I liked the album they did with Michael Gira as Angels of Light too. They put on a good live show.

Is Akron/Family becoming a little known? I used to be friends with two of those guys. Music's decent, but they'll get better. Pretty talented overall as musicians.

I'm really looking forward to tonight's episode. I think that it will be a nice pause to look back at the characters finding out who they are, then get back into the action next week.
