"Fairytale of New York" and "Do They Know It's Christmas" are probably my two favorites. ("Tonight thank God it's them instead of yewwwwwwww") The dance number from Charlie Brown's Christmas always puts a hop in my step as well and Greensleeves for the more classical side.

So, my knowledge of Waits is very limited (something that I am mildly ashamed of). I heard a couple of songs on the radio yesterday that I really liked. Could someone please give me the two best introductory albums for me to pick up?

I like Czech and Leena. But I also like Paul, so that probably makes my opinion on these kinds of things wrong.

I wonder if they're going to go with a super heroes united theme, like the Fantastic 4, or if they'll just kind of all be on their own going forward. I really don't want them to become uniformed superheroes at all. I like the normal people with powers theme better.

DL interacted with Hiro and Hiro told Micah about his powers basically, so that was one and also the Niki/Nathan connection. Matt ties in through his chase of Sylar and I'm fairly certain that the "bomb" in NYC will actually be the guy that Matt captured. His is the least connection, but you can see where he'll be worked in already.

I'd say that they did really begin the gathering process though. Now there are ties between both Patrellis, Claire, short haired mind control girl, Haitian Guy, DL, Niki, Suresh, Isaac and Hiro. I think that's everyone so far. Although, when I paused on the screen in Suresh's office, there were a lot of names that we haven't been introduced to yet, so there are definitely more out there who may or may not come into play.

I do love how whenever anything goes wrong Michael now instantly blames Toby. Like the fat guy quitting. "It was Toby, wasn't it?" Or the bird dying.

I think it was the season premier (maybe or the second episode) where Toby kept talking to Pam and seemed to be gearing to ask her out. It was subtle.

You know, I love the Descendents, but could never really get into All. Which is weird because they are very similar.

And Paul > all, or something.

I think that the problem with doing that would be that sometimes the deleted scenes are replaced with other material and you'd have to do a lot of editing that they probably didn't feel like doing. The Lazy Scranton edits as an example. Where the edits took place, there was a lot of other stuff put in so I don't think you could just pop the deleted scenes in and have it make sense.

The deleted scene on nbc.com is an extended version of "Lazy Scranton". It is worth watching.

I think that you can watch it at nbc.com for free which is nice. The Creed parts were amazing of course. I think that they should give him a little bit more. He's gold. I liked the Dwight and Andy feud, especially with the final scene where Michael announced that Jim was "his" choice for number 2 and they immediately went after the #3 spot.

For anyone who just can't wait, Yahoo has a bunch of 30 second to a minute preview clips up. I'm trying to hold out, but just don't know if I can.

I am a little nervous about where they are going with the Hiro story with him showing up in the past. It takes a lot of skill and forethought to write someone travelling in time and it usually doesn't work that well.

Uh-oh, when niskie calls you a pervert, you know that you're reaching low.

Huh, I liked the parts with the little kids, learning about why the father was so interested in the study and trying to figure out if Suresh seeing the past was a power or not. We can disagree on this niskie, but let's not make it a habit!

You should re-watch. Those parts were pretty interesting and seem to be a key going forward.

I'm thinking that the kid is going to be a key. It seems that when two people with powers reproduce on the show, the kid is more powerful. That's what I think they were getting at last night with Claire.

I loved last night's episode. The Hiro parts were great and him in the photo at the end was a nice touch. I really like the Matt scenes too. His story is now a lot more interesting to me with the whole addition of the nuclear guy. And, to echo niskie, the Claire scenes were excellent. I was missing her, then she shows up at the father's work in the dress and all was good. I liked the added dimensions to the father as well. I still don't think that he's necessarily a "good" guy. I don't trust him at all.

Remember when Van Halen was relevant?

I really liked last nights episode. Future Dwight was awesome, enjoyed all of Stanley and Ryan's reactions and liked Ed Helms going from gloating to being crushed. Michael and Dwight was good stuff too. I didn't like them having new girl come right out and say she likes Jim. It's been fairly clear and the show is best when it is subtle. They don't need to slam us over the head with those kinds of things.
