Good, now I can at least say that I accomplished something today. And it's only 10:15. -
Crying over a wrestler's death is pathetic

Hmm, I think that most tend to read FFMS as F_F_M_S, not FIMS (Which I assume would be the one syllable pronunciation of FFMS). -
Few thoughts after having watched most of the Sixers games so far. 1. This team is going to be better than people thought before the year started. 2. Andre Igoudala needs to get more shots. He doesn't seem to care, but he is turning into a good to very good player and can make jumpers, so get him shots. 3. With Kyle Korver and Chris Webber on the floor at the same time, this is a terrible defensive team. Webber is still a pretty good offensive player, but could not guard me. Korver is what he is. A good shooter who can't create his own shot and who isn't very good at D. I'd play him a lot less when Dalembert comes back. The best line-up IMO would be Salmons, AI, Iggy, Webber and Dalembert with Korver coming off the bench for a spark, Nailon and Thomas eatting up some minutes and fouls for the big men and Ollie spelling AI and Salmons when they need a rest.

It's 5-7-5. FFMS is 4 by itself. You fail. -
PSU's in the BCS if they win the Land Grant Bowl. I would be surprised if Michigan St. doesn't give them a game at home, but I think PSU pulls it out. OSU beats Michigan easily IMO and Auburn takes down Alabama in the two big games of the weekend.

You know, you would probably be best served by throwing a game to keep the better team out of the playoffs, but I don't think that I would do that. It's a honor kind of thing, and I would never want to be on the receiving end. I'd probably try to get someone kicked out of our league if they pulled a stunt like that.

If UCLA wins against USC, I think it will be really close between Miami and USC for who gets in. Voters are really in love with USC right now, to the point that they might stay number 2 even with a loss.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/11/t...reut/index.html The end seems to have come. We're losing 7th Heaven too. It's a tough day. -
Any idea how the Phils are going to handle the Howard/Thome situation? Also, who is going to be in centerfield on opening day? (sorry for 2 questions, but they're short)

Shit shit shit shit shit. Would there be a chance for AD to become a DVD only show? Although it doesn't have a ton of viewers, I bet the majority would buy new seasons on DVD. Could it be cost feasible to produce? -
How the hell did you get LT, Edge and Tiki? Was everyone drunk at your draft? And, you should definitely make a trade with those four backs (assuming you only start 2). This is a tough week for me with LT & Chad Johnson on byes. Who would you start out of Brandon Stokely, Marcus Robinson or Justin McCareins?

I liked this episode, but they're kind of overdoing the tension between Jim and Pam at this point. We don't need to see in every episode them flirting then one of them getting mad at the other for something they said. I really liked Micheal on the phone under his desk. "No I didn't slip you anything".

Possibly moving to Delaware or Massachusetts...
C Dubya 04 replied to therealworldschampion's topic in General Chat
Delaware is not a bad place really. You're close to Philly and Baltimore, and Newark is a fun college town. I'd advise against Widener though. It is hard to get jobs out of there even in the Philly area. I have a buddy who finished in the top 5 of his law class there and he is doing shit work for a crappy firm in Philly. -
I could see all of the bowls wanting Penn State because of the way that their fans travel. After ND, PSU fans might be the best at traveling to games. Even for the minor bowls they've been in, the fans fill the stadiums.

Buster's realization about the Alias line killed me. "Wait a minute....Alias is a show....About a SPY." -
Penn State/Notre Dame would make whichever BCS bowl gets it very happy. That could pull in some insane ratings with the two schools followings and history.

Actually, I don't think he'll be paid during the suspension time. So he will end up losing close to a million from the deal, not to mention the rest of the loot he cost himself by being an assclown.

I don't get it (Some Lou Reed fan I am ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Collective Soul's "Perfect Day" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh. Nevermind then <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, it was Lou Reed's. My understanding has always been that the song is about heroin use.

Do the Gold Glove voters even watch baseball? How can you possibly pick Abreu? I'm glad that he is a Phillie, but I would even call his fielding average, not even good. He lets a ton of balls drop in front of him, misplayed a few that cost the Phils games and just in general never looked like he went all out out there. Sigh.

Yeah, I read TMQB too. He's the guy that got taken off of ESPN.com for saying somekind of rant against Disney. The War of the Worlds rant is particularly good and true. But I don't blame Spielberg. People want to see things get blown up in movies nowadays, so he gave the people what they want.

I went to a wedding where "Perfect Day" was the first dance by the bride and groom.

They've basically said that the entire time.

Wow, Cena's not even introduced second?

I think that you can name just about anything anymore and someone will have a fetish for it.

I'm enjoying this a lot more than most Diva segments.
